Antique Parian Ware White and Blue Creamer with Two Ladies on Front and Back
Up for auction is a small Bennington Parian Ware white and blue creamer with two ladies in relief on both sides set against a blue background. The piece stands 4 1/4" high and measures 3 1/2" from the tip of the spout to the end of the handle. There is small factory bubble burst on the rim. This shouldn't hurt the piece at all. It is in otherwise excellent condition as there were no other bubble burst. Chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. These pieces were not marked. 0144H1001

Pitcher measures 4 3/4" tall and sugar bowl measures 5 3/4" tall and 6 3/4" wide including handles. The pieces have no breaks or repairs. The sugar bowl has a chip on the outer rim near the handle and has several brown specks. Lines, etc. The pitcher has tanned and has 3 chips on the rim and a chip on the foot. There are are tan spots on the rim where the porcelain wore off? I've provide several photos so that you can see all of the small flaw details, so please view those closely for an accurate description. Stunning Antique china set by M Z Austria. Circa 1884-1909. This set has and interesting history, the owner mentioned that this set was used in to entertain the elite of Hollywood during the golden era. Plate with gold rimmed loop handle- measures 6-1/4" Salt& Pepper set, missing corks from bottom, Creamer and sugar bowls, and hexagon shaped toothpick holder. Signed T. Schultz. Who knows? Perhaps Charlie Chaplain passed the salt?

Antique iridescent creamer and sugar bowl, pale blue and white textured designs
Offered for your consideration is this very unusual porcelain lidded sugar bowl and cream pitcher featuring a pale iridescent blue backround with raised textured white designs. Although unmarked I have seen this pattern listed as Altenburg Saxony Austria Germany which I am not sure is a company or a region or both. The sides of boht pieces have the iridescent pale blue background rand raised white textured figures which appear to be children at play. The four scenes on the four sides are all different. The rims have gold floral designs and there the handles and lid finial are white iridescent lusterware. As I said. Very unusual but also very attractive and compelling. The sugar bowl is 6" wide including the handles. The bowl is 4½" in diameter and it stands about 4¼" tall including the lid. The cream pitcher is 5" ... morewide from tip of spout to handle, 3½" in diameter and is 2¾" in tall. In excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks and no crazing and the raised white textured designs or intact. Because of the design it is hard to tell if there is wear or fading but I am inclined to believe this is near mint and probably displayed only. Approx 3-3/4" in height to top of handle, approx 3-1/4" in height to spout, approx 4" from spout to end of handle, approx 2-1/4" across top, approx 2-1/2" depth, bottom is approx 2" from foot to foot, approx 3-1/4" wide at belly of creamer. There are signs of age/use/wear. Some color/enamel fade/loss in areas. There is a chip inside the creamer and a small hairline fracture coming off of the chip, only visible inside but it is under the rim and cannot be seen in pictures. There is some discoloration in the porcelain. There is a fracture line on the top of the handle right in the middle. It does not look repaired there is no glue ... moreresidue. This sugar pot came from an auction in Vermont. The lid is missing. There is crackling in the glaze. Mostly on the bottom. The two handles have chips on the undersides that can be seen from the top a little. There is some chipping on the rim that holds the lid and some discoloration. There is a crack line inside the top of one handle but seems very secure and does not go through to the underside of the handle, see the last picture.

Here is a beautiful Flow Blue Argyle pattern creamer from Johnson Brothers(England) As you can see it has a little wear on the gilding around the top edge and it does have some crazing visible on the inside. Pictures do not show the crazing very well. Also. There is a small chip in the pour spout that looks like a manufacture error(Under the glaze) Also, some wear on the'feet' where the creamer has rested on the table these many years. Antique Blue and White Transferware Sugar Bowl with Lid J. Ridgway mid 1840s
This is a lovely blue and white transferware sugar bowl in excellent condition. There is a mark on the bottom. And I believe it says J. Ridgway. There are numbers as well, but I'm not sure if they're a registration number, or the year(1839) In any event, this piece was most likely made in the mid 1840s. There is a small bit of age-related staining on the bottom. There is some age-related crazing. The top of the lid has one little spot. There is some roughness on the edges of the lid and the bottom of the base. On one corner above one handle. There appears to be a patch that missed the glaze, or perhaps it's an excellent repair(see photo) There is a bit of roughness on the edges of the handles. This piece stands approx. 5 3/4 inches high. With lid, and is approx 7 1/4 inches wide, handle to handle.

Phoenix Bird Morimura Bros Antique Blue China Tea Set Made in Japan 1921-1940
From Salem. OR estate: Small tea set, 4 pieces, very good condition. I found this information on the net about the back stamp: Joan C. Oates, in her book on Phoenix Bird china. Attributes the M in upside-down wreath to the Noritake predecessors, the Morimura Brothers. Aimee Neff Aldren also records this as a Morimura Bros(Noritake) mark, dating post 1921(her code MM-28) In another place on the net it states that this mark was no longer used after 1940. There is a very small indentation on the sugar bowl that I looked at under magnification and I believe it is original to manufacturing and not a chip, see last photo-it does not feel sharp on the edges and I did not even notice it until I started taking photos. Antique M Z Austria Fine Bone China Creamer White with blue flowers
For auction is this lovely Austrian creamer by Moritz Zdekauer. The creamer has a gold handle and gold around the top edge. It is a soft white color with a border of lovely flowers. The shape of the piece is lovely. The creamer is 2.5 inches in height and at the widest part(handle to spout) it is 4 inches. For a vintage piece, it is in lovely condition with no chips or cracks. The bottom of the creamer is stamped MZ Austria. It also has a word that may be"Deposeg" although some of the letters may not be correct. It also has number 1190 over 4 that has been imprinted in the glaze. For a collector of creamers or for someone who just wants a cheery spring-like piece to grace their table. IT DOES HAVE A SMALL SLASH ON THE BOTTOM OT THE BOWL BUT THAT IS THE ONLY MARKING AND THOSE ARE THE TYPES OF MARKINGS THAT WERE USED IN THE EARLY MAKING OF THESE ITEMS. IT FEATURES A VICTORIAN GIRL SITTING AND LOOKING AT A ROMANTIC VICTORIAN COUPLE. It's hand painted with a cobalt design and the recessed portions of the embossed pattern are light blue. It's 4.5" at it's tallest and 3.25" at its widest. It's in nice condition with no chips. Cracks or breaks, just some aging discoloration to the white glaze. I purchased this at an estate auction with many pieces of 19th century or older pottery dishes. They all had the previous owner's etched initial"M" or"W" on the bottom like this one. BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE GERMAN CREAMER/SUGAR SET These types of larger creamer/sugar sets were popular before(and during) the Victorian days- maybe people back then always had large company groups for coffee& cake! Not marked. Just lots of hand-written numbers in fine pen script. A spray of yellow and blue flowers on both sides of the sugar bowl, and one spray on the creamer. The handles and knob of lid are fashioned like branches and there are ribbed designs on both pieces. The white marks are from the light and they are not on the porcelain. The creamer is 6.25" tall at the spout. The sugar bowl is 6" from handle to handle, and 5.5" tall. Antique Spongeware Porcelain Blue White 5" Creamer w Repair Crazing Unsigned
Up for auction is an antique 5" spongeware porcelain blue and white creamer. Unsigned, recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. There is deep crazing, particularly to the spout, although it may be hairline cracks but has the shape of crazing and not as dark as hairline cracks. A very nice unusual handle, a bit skewed, quite nicely done. The repair is good but just off color. A bit of roughness around the bottom but fine, no chips or cracks. Best of luck in bidding. Offered in this sale is an early Meissen porcelain covered sugar bowl decorated with the ever popular Blue Onion pattern ... morethat I would date to the 19th century. It is marked on the underside of the base with a blue crossed swords mark and also has another small painted symbol on the base near the foot rim which is probably a decorators mark. There is also a small impressed mark which I cannot make out. There are no scratch lines in the glaze over the mark so this is a factory decorated first quality piece. It has an applied rose for a finial. It measures roughly 4 1/2" tall x 4 1/4" in diameter. The condition is excellent. There is a small glazed flake on the side of the foot ring. However, this is clearly as it came from the factory because it is glazed. Otherwise, there are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or restoration. I have carefully examined the petals on the applied rose and can confirm that there is no loss, damage or restoration. This is a great little bowl in even greater shape.
