These are the side drawers from a Singer Treadle Machine with the cabinet lid used for the top. All from the same machine. This is all fastened together and ready to use. This has very good original finish with great color. All drawers work well. This cabinet measures 16" tall, 12 3/4" wide and 15 3/4" deep and weigh s around 17lbs. SINGER TREADLE SEWING MACHINE DRAWERS- RED EYE MODEL 66-116 Up for auction are six drawers and the two internal drawer holders/ cabinets from a Model 66-16 Red Eye Singer Treadle Sewing Machine from 1911. The drawers are made of quartersawn oak. Both the front of the drawers and sides of the cabinets have carved decorative accents. The drawers measure approximately 11-5/8" deep by 4-3/8" wide. The cabinet portions that hold the drawers measure 14" deep by 5-1/2" wide and approximately 14-3/4" tall. One drawer is missing its circular center pull as shown in the fourth photo. Aside from this flaw. The wood has only a couple of minor dents/ dings, and contact paper has been applied to the interior of the drawers. This is a brass handle or drawer pull. Which I have found to work well on dressers and cabinets, These are unused old stock in original packaging, along with the necessary attaching bolts and nuts. It is attractive without being overwhelming. The backplate is 4" across. The drop portion of the handle is 1- 1/2" I am offering a lot of 6 brass handles or pulls for one price. If more are needed. ANTIQUE PRE- ETHAN ALLEN BAUMRITTER 6 DRAWER SOLID MAPLE CRP DRESSER c.1952
I am pleased to offer this antique authentic Baumritter 6 drawer dresser. Circa 1952. And manufactured Beecher Falls, Vermont, U.S.A. it actually pre-dates Ethan Allen. This dresser is the real deal. 100% original. All solid Maple construction in a nutmeg finish with all of the original hardware. It measures 46" tall X 33 5/8" wide X 18 1/2" deep. It features beveled/rounded edging on both the top and each drawer face. This dresser was built by Baumritter New York just prior to being acquired by Ethan Allen. Of note in the styling is the elevated stance with scalloped lower/base edging. Once acquired by Ethan Allen, the CRP line continued through the 1950's with similar construction; but the pieces were produced with a flat base that sat flush upon the floor. The craftsmanship and quality of materials used on these pieces ... morewas exceptional. All 4 corners of each drawer are dovetailed. Each drawer slides using a central guide bar and groove; all of which is precise Maple wood construction. The top 2 drawers are also sectioned. Those drawers have a face width of 4 1/2" and a usable depth of 3 1/2" The lower 4 drawers are not sectioned. Each of those 4 have a usable depth of 5" This piece is absolutely authentic. The original brass Baumritter New York plaquard with company crest is still affixed to the side wall of the second drawer. In same drawer. On the floor, is literally heat branded"Made in Vermont" over"Beecher Falls" within a Maple leaf(to represent the wood and its' regional origin) Look closely at the photos and you can see the blackened/burnished patina from the heat used in branding. Furthermore. On the backside of this piece is twice stamped, Inspected" over"April 28,1952" over"Inspector No. 1" Apparently they did it twice as the first stamp was not wholly clear.
