Antique Venetian/Neo Classical Style Painted Credenza / Demi Lune Grand Rapids
This auction is for an antique Credenza or Demi Lune. This was purchased from an estate and it is just stunning. It is large measuring 50 inches wide and 32 inches tall. it has two doors on the front and a plaque on the back that just says Grand Rapids along with numbers on either corner. It looks to be from the 30's and is made in a Neo Classical style with al the gold decoration. The piece is very sturdy but the top does show wear from things sitting on it. I have not tried anything to change it. It really has a presence. This piece will have to be picked up locally or if you want it shipped you the buyer would be responsible for arranging the pick up and shipping. Two copper planter inserts. removable gray. Oxblood red and white/cream stone(unsure if original to the piece) CONDITION: Overall good condition. There is finish loss to lower right shelf. Other normal age related surface wear abrasions and light scratches.
