Measurements are as follows: 84"W x ... more69"T X 24"D. Weight: approx. 150-200lbs. There are a couple of small trim pieces where the backsplash meets the base that are missing, a couple that are loose. The top section of the backsplash has seperated and a couple small pieces of carved trimwork are missing as a result(can be seen in the pics) There is a small a chip on the front left edge of the table surface. One of the locks is missing from one of the doors and there is a stain on the top that can be clearly seen in the photo. Im sure there are other bumps/bruises but nothing glaring. All that having been said, this piece is really stunning in person and all of the condition issues are fairly simple repairs. The flaws I mentioned are only noticed upon close scrutiny and have never been pointed out to me by anyone who has seen it in person. Original finish is in good shape, just as it appears in the photos. The color, in person, is probably somewhere between the lightest and darkest photos. The carving on this piece is AWESOME! The quartersawn grain is heavy and pronounced. Bought this piece and the matching server, which I will be listing soon) to restore but I am out of time/space. I feel I have a reasonable opening bid on this piece but if it does not sell, I will restore it and the price will go up considerably. Personally, im kinda getting burned out on the figurals and winged griffins that usually adorn pieces of this quality so its nice to see a great piece without that typical subject matter. Total height is 44" There are 4 metal pear drop pulls on the 2 panelled dovetailed drawers- not original. The cupboards. However, have the original pulls with lock system. No key. Lots of decoration. The legs are barley twist and the barley twist continues on both sides of the upper portion of the cupboards. The top panel is pegged into the sideboard and could be removed. Circa 1940 Oak Barley twist turnings Excellent condition, This tall and beautiful antique Welsh dresser will make a statement in any room! The gorgeous barley twist columns and stretchers combine with the oak wood to make a magnificent piece of furniture. The oak wood has a really beautiful medium brown color and a gorgeous grain. There are so many wonderful features to point out on this Welsh dresser that we will start from the top and work our way down. At the very top is a moulded crown with some carved detail below it. Two long barley twist columns ... morerun down the shelf section and end in carved balusters. The three shelves feature plate grooves(for standing up plates) and are 5″ deep. Some nicely carved arches decorated the middle back panel just below the last shelf. As we move down the piece. The cabinet section features two doors and three drawers. The cabinet doors lock with one included key. The left cabinet has a removable shelf and the right has a drawer inside. The top drawer in the middle is sectioned into 3 areas and lined with felt. This felt inside this drawer is quite worn and missing in places and it should be replaced. Finally, moving down to the legs, feet, and stretchers you can see again the use of the lovely barley twist. This antique Welsh dresser was made in Wales sometime around 1940. It is in excellent condition. The top has. At some point, been married to the bottom as you can see from the picture of the back. The only two flaws are the bad felt in the top drawer and some wear to the moulding around the bottom of the section with the cabinets and drawers. This can be seen in the photos. This listing is for a solid cherry dining buffet sideboard by Willett. It has been in my family for over 60 years. Stamped"Willett" inside the drawer as well as on the back panel. Consider H. Willett furniture. From Kentucky, is highly collectible, especially the cherry furniture with the spiral rope motif. This particular buffet piece is very RARE. Circa 1934-57. Dimensions: Length: 37 inches Height: 33 inches Depth: 16 3/4 inches Condition: Very sturdy and solid. Original wax finish is still mirror-bright. Original hardware. Doors and drawers all work as they should. With absolutely no drooping or sticking at all. There are numerous small scratches and finish wear marks and 2 or 3 significant ones the top surface, one quite noticeable long scratch, as well as two noticeable dings on one door, and a scratch on the front of the ... moredrawer, as seen in photos. The top surface is 42” tall. All 3 drawers are dovetailed and these drawers display wonderful glass and brass fluted pulls. The top left and right drawers are 12 1/2” wide x 4 1/2” deep and 19 1/2” front to back. Lots of Space! The center divided silverware drawer measures the same but is 25” wide. Here is a terrific antique heavy carved dark oak barley twist sideboard in very nice condition commensurate with it's age. It was manufactured in England by Bopwith and Company. Newcastle and is marked such with a button tag on the edge of the top center drawer. It has lovely fleur-di-lis and other heavy carvings on the doors and trim, shield back mantle and very nice large top surface. This delightful old piece even has a cellarette inside the right side lower cabinet as well as lots of open cabinet space as well as two large central drawers. The absolutely gorgeous heavy original teardrop brass hardware, 3 inch tear drops on the drawers and 1 3/4 inch tear drops on the side cabinet doors, is an additional highlight of this lovely piece of early 20th century English furniture along with the beautifully turned barley twist stretcher. ... moreThis is a large sturdy piece and can serve alternate purposes as well such as a perfect large flt screen TV stand or providing extra counter space in an old style country kitchen with it's very functional large 39 1/2 inch tall height work surface. It was recently imported from the UK through Edinburgh, Scotland. it travels in three pieces, the barley twist stretch base, the main cabinet and the removable top back mantle. This sideboard stands 56 inches tall to the top of the removable back mantle and measures 72 inches long by 22 inches deep. Front to back. This sideboard has two large center drawers, each 23 inches wide by 17 inches front to back and 6 3/4 inches deep. The two side cabinets are each 19 1/4 inches tall by 20 1/4 inches wide and 18 1/2 inches front to back. The left side cabinet has a removable shelf that divides the cabinet in two leaving 9 inches clearance above the shelf and 10 inches clearance below the shelf.
