There are four (4) beautiful bun style finials and an incredible carved pediment at the top of the piece. The key is intact with the piece. The piece has adjustable shelves on the top cabinet, and more shelving in the bottom section. This can be seen in the photos.

The sideboard is in amazing condition, with very little sign of wear ... moreat all. It is the original finish and the mirror has the original glass intact. There are a few light surface scratches to the finish from general use, but it has been very well cared for, and is in amazing condition. I am unsure of the exact age or manufacture of the piece, but I do know that was originally contructed between 1870 and 1899. The sideboard has short reverse scroll feet with beautiful carving that runs up the side supports from the feet. The sideboard has carved accents on the front of the doors, at the outer edges of the large drawer, with matching carved details on the top mirrored frame and pillar supports.

This fine 19th century piece features its original beveled edge brown marble top lovely shell carvings and rosettes with its original hidden casters on the base. This quality made piece has a chamfered back and period dove-tailed joinery on the base piece and drawer ends. The wood pulls are old but do appear to have been replacements some time ago. The Victorian sideboard would make a wonderful addition to a dining room but would even be fantastic for placement of a large flat screen TV in a family room or living room or would be a wonderful piece for a large foyer or home office as a credenza. This Victorian Marble Top sideboard is in wonderful antique condition and is solid and tight. One of the flat round rosettes on the top left side does have a small piece missing. Antique Victorian Oak Sideboard W/Mirrored Back & Applied Leaf Scroll Design
We are pleased to offer to the market this beautiful antique sideboard. Made from Victorian oak this piece dates to the late 1800's ~ early 1900's. The piece measures 71" high at the back center. It has a width of 44" at the top of the work surface and a height of 36" to the top of the work surface. The depth is 22.25" The top boasts a large center mirror flanked by shelves on either side that extend out to columns that support a large upper shelf. The fronts of the columns have carved leaf designs. The top above the shelf has applied carved acanthus leaf scrolls. There is also a variation of this design on the doors below. Under the work station there are two small drawers atop a full width large drawer. The drawers all have dove tail construction. There are cabinet doors that open below the drawers affording ... moremore storage. There are some age and use appropriate scratches and dings on this piece and some light staining on the top.
