The sideboard is in amazing condition, with very little sign of wear ... moreat all. It is the original finish and the mirror has the original glass intact. There are a few light surface scratches to the finish from general use, but it has been very well cared for, and is in amazing condition. I am unsure of the exact age or manufacture of the piece, but I do know that was originally contructed between 1870 and 1899. The sideboard has short reverse scroll feet with beautiful carving that runs up the side supports from the feet. The sideboard has carved accents on the front of the doors, at the outer edges of the large drawer, with matching carved details on the top mirrored frame and pillar supports.

There are some specks of white paint on one side where someone must have splattered paint when painting a wall that I am sure would clean up. Measurements are as follows: 84"W x ... more69"T X 24"D. Weight: approx. 150-200lbs. There are a couple of small trim pieces where the backsplash meets the base that are missing, a couple that are loose. The top section of the backsplash has seperated and a couple small pieces of carved trimwork are missing as a result(can be seen in the pics) There is a small a chip on the front left edge of the table surface. One of the locks is missing from one of the doors and there is a stain on the top that can be clearly seen in the photo. Im sure there are other bumps/bruises but nothing glaring. All that having been said, this piece is really stunning in person and all of the condition issues are fairly simple repairs. The flaws I mentioned are only noticed upon close scrutiny and have never been pointed out to me by anyone who has seen it in person. Original finish is in good shape, just as it appears in the photos. The color, in person, is probably somewhere between the lightest and darkest photos. The carving on this piece is AWESOME! The quartersawn grain is heavy and pronounced. Bought this piece and the matching server, which I will be listing soon) to restore but I am out of time/space. I feel I have a reasonable opening bid on this piece but if it does not sell, I will restore it and the price will go up considerably. Personally, im kinda getting burned out on the figurals and winged griffins that usually adorn pieces of this quality so its nice to see a great piece without that typical subject matter. Draw sides and back are all oak and not an inferior wood. The interior is all oak. The doors lock but I have lost the key! Currently all the doors are unlocked! Inside at the back somebody cut a hole out. Not sure why that was done but it is there! The only newish part is an interior shelf which is in the main body. I believe it is still solid oak but it lacks the patina of the original. The glass is not damaged anywhere. The marble has exquisite shading and color. With pink, grey and purple variations. It has light scratches on the top and minor tiny chips on the edge as expected for a piece this age. It is not broken anywhere! The carvings are so wonderful with urns. Horns, ribbons, roses, tassels, swags and leaves. Both front panels have cracks on the decoration as seen in the photographs. Very reluctantly for sale! Local pick up preferred but we will work with your shipper or we can get you a quote from a company we use. Coast to coast is probably around $400 to $500 dollars. Non smoking home. Good overall condition, This quaint English oak sideboard was made around 1940 and is the perfect size for a variety of places in the home. The shaped back splash has a beveled mirror and the cabinet doors are decorated with carvings in the outside upper corners. The drawers slide in and out easily and the cabinet doors both lock with included key. The inside of the right drawer used to have ... moregreen felt that was partially removed. Leaving the inside of the drawer with a green tinge(see picture) There is normal wear throughout in the form of tiny dings here and there, but overall this buffet is in very good condition and quite sturdy. The drawers are made with hand cut dovetails which gives you an idea of the high level of craftsmanship that went into this sideboard. The sideboard is 36" tall to the counter and 46.5" tall to the top of the back splash. Plenty of storage space in this sideboard! The cabinet doors both lock. These carved decorations adorn the outside upper corners of the doors. Each drawer has two solid brass pulls. The drawers are made with hand cut dovetails. The right drawer used to have green felt inside. Now it has a green tinge from where that felt was removed. The counter top has minor wear in the form of tiny dings or stains. What I have here is an outstanding Empire style tiger oak sideboard/ buffet circa 1900 with a tag from Picture Rocks. PA. The tag(photo shown) indicates the Burrows Bros. Co. Ltd. as the manufacturer. A fellow named Amos Burrows started the furniture co. in Lycoming County. Pennsylvania in 1856 and the enterprise was sold in 1939. This one is from the Burrow's Brothers unique"Roller Guide Line. Two tiny wooden wheels hold each drawer in place and enable smooth gliding back and forth. Some information on the manufacturer's history can be found on the internet at usgennet.org/usa/pa/county/lycoming/history/Chapter-31.html There are Claw feet in the front and straight legs in the back. All legs have the original wooden rollers for easily moving this piece around. The overall dimensions are 48" W x 22 1/2" D x 61 1/2" ... moreH. The height to the first level is 39" The height to the second level is 56 1/2" The two levels are connected by columns. The mirror is the original beveled mirror with the dimensions 37"W x 13"H. It has 2 drawers on top that are each 20 1/2" long. There is 1 long drawer in the middle of the piece that is 42" long. At the botto m are 2 doors w/ post in-between. There is a large open storage area behind these doors. The drawers and doors have beautiful decorative brass knobs as pulls(photo shown) Some minor imperfections- as shown in pictures- are: varnish spot(top left side) slight warpage of veneer in one spot(top right ride) and two spots of discoloration in mirror The 2 drawers on top. The long drawer in the middle, and the two bottom doors, all have keyholes for locking, but no key. Overall condition is very good. Considering its age. We've really cared for this piece. Carved lion feet, a large beveled mirror with candle stands and long display shelf above as well as a lovely server surface, drawers and open cabinet space behind decorative doors below. The wood grains on this pieces are gorgeous, the front edge has a slight serpentine front and the detailed carvings including applique and trip work are spectacular and appear to be intact. This piece is on it's original casters so it can be moved easily. I show the casters in close up behind the decorative front carved lion's foot. This large sideboard stands 79 inches tall and measures 47 1/2 inches wide by 22 inches deep. Front to back. It travels safely and easily in two parts. Here is an absolutely gorgeous early 20th century quartersawn dark oak tall heavy carved mirror back sideboard with large beveled mirror and mirrored candle stands. Beautiful heavy carvings of grapes and other Arts and Crafts style motifs, lovely probably original metal Arts& Crafts hardware and keys for the lower cabinet. This wonderful solid oak sideboard has bun feet and a lovely carved bonnet on top and is overall just a striking piece in a tall but workable size. This sideboard stands 73 1/2 inches tall by 48 inches wide by 18 1/2 inches front to back overall, but travels in two pieces- the base 40 inches tall by 48 inches wide by 18 1/2 inches front to back; and the top section- 33 1/2 inches tall by 45 inches wide by 9 3/4 inches front to back. The sideboard has an open niche to the centre with frieze drawer above. This drawer is constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and benefits from having it's original swan neck handles. This is flanked by 2 cupboards. The left hand cupboard has a single shelf to the inside which is enclosed with a panel door complete with original handle and original working lock and key. The right hand cupboard has a slide drawer to the inside and again is enclosed with a panel door but this one has a later working lock. The top is good but does have some marks commensurate with it's age. The stage back has ... moreit's original bevel edge mirror which does have some minor foxing. This is further flanked by 2 flame mahogany molded panels. The sideboard has been polished with a coat of wax giving a warm patination. Dating from the 1900s to 1910s. This is a mahogany dainty maple pinstripe sideboard in the Hepplewhite style with a mirror back. It has ... morethree matching serpentine drawers, all dovetail, in the center, two reverse curve doors that open up and two reverse curve dovetail drawers. It was made by the J.K. Rishel Furniture Company of Williamsport, Pennsylvania. There is inlay across the top, the front, and the tapered Hepplewhite legs. It’s very heavy, and of very nice quality, and we also are offering a matching server, if it is still available, so check our site. The overall size is 62 inches long, 24 inches deep, 40 inches to the top of the cabinet, and 52.5 inches to the top of the mirror. The overall condition is great, and we have re-sprayed the top to bring out the gorgeous grains of the solid mahogany used. It is finished in a light reddish brown stain, and the only flaw I can see is that someone must have transported it and put a little dent in the left hand door that doesn’t go all the way through the wood grain. Around the edges of a couple of the drawers there is also a bit of damage. Presenting this lovely Arts& Crafts oak buffet with over-mantel. It is 48" wide by 70" tall and 21" deep. Notice the carved stylized peacocks on the doors and original hardware. And two candle shelves. This piece is in good clean order. The beveled leaded mirrors have some frosting, but that makes them look antique. We are moving in late July so arrangements must be made to pick this up up by July 24th. If this does not sell on line before July 10th, it will be included in our moving sale. Antique sideboard with mirror and seahorse carvings
77 in X 48 in X 24 in The bottom half is 36 and the top half is 41. It can be made into 2 pieces for moving. Otherwise the top is attached to the bottom with boards on the back. There is a one broken handle on bottom drawer that is reattached with a nail. you don't notice this unless you try to pull on it. The mirror has no cracks. It has a few faint"stains" or lightened spots.

antique tiger oak carved North Wind sideboard Gorgeous beveled mirror
This is drop-dead gorgeous! It is a tiger oak sideboard with carved faces(I believe it is the North Wind) I really hate to part with this. But I found another one that matches my china cabinet better. It has a beautiful beveled mirror, which does have a little ghosting. It has a small loss of silver in the bottom right corner about 1/4" wide. Not noticeable if you have items on the top, but I want to mention every flaw I see. Please see picture# 11. The mirror sits on the top of the buffet and the crown has pegs that it drops into on the very top shelf. There are a few scratches on the top(I think from the mirror being placed on the sideboard) I tried to photograph them in picture#12. I haven't tried to cover them with a color crayon. As they didn't bother me at all. This is a great piece if you want to make a statement in your ... moredining room. Or anywhere for that matter! It is about 25" deep, 75" tall, and about 65" long. I have the history of this piece too! It was purchased by Mr. Albert Lunt in Nebraska in 1909. It was made it Hastings, Michigan. Please take a look at my other items! More coming soon. Up for auction is a very nice Antique Mission Oak Arts& Crafts Sideboard/Buffet. It is solid oak- very sturdy and very heavy. The mirror/shelf can be detached and it can be used as a server without the mirror if you like. It is in great shape for furniture of this age but it does have some rings on the surface(see 3rd photo- the picture makes them look worse than they are- nothing a quick surface refinishing wouldn't fix) I guestimate this is around 100 years old. It has all original hardware. Mirror, and a key as seen in the photos. French Art Deco Sideboard. Heavily hand carved Walnut with marble top and mirror. The marble top was professionally custom made for this piece and is very thick and heavy and a perfect fit.The mirror was made to fit as well. The wood is all original with no repairs. The doors and drawers have their original pulls and hinges and locks but no key. It measures about 18" deep. 48" wide, 44" to top of marble, 58" max height at top of mirror. Its a beautiful, authentic piece. Shipping to the Mississippi will run about $200, and to California about $300. I'll put it on a pallet and build a crate for it.
