Set of (4) LARGE Antique Vintage Cast Iron Industrial Casters Wheels table cart
Up for auction is an awesome set of(4) very large 19th century fixed antique cast iron casters. These are extremely heavy duty and weigh just under 11lbs each! The wheels measure approx. 5 3/4" and stand approx. 8" tall overall. The base measures approx. 5" x 4 3/4" with drilled mounting holes that measure 3 5/8" and 4" center to center. The wheels move freely and are covered in surface rust. I have left them exactly as found not knowing if someone wants the aged patina. They need a good cleaning and grease. The only defect I can find is a small chip in one of the wheels.see the photo) I'm not sure if it's an old chip or defect in the casting. Two of the wheels appear as though the holes weren't drilled through after the casting. The wheels are the largest I've seen and with a weight of almost ... more11 lbs. each. Antique Pair of Baby Buggy or Cart Wheels -Wood Metal & Rubber-14 inch Diameter
Here you have a pair of antique/vintage buggy wheels that are 14 inches in diameter and about 3/4 of an inch wide not including the metal hub. The spokes are wooden and the tires are rubber with the rubber being in good condition. The hubs are metal and hold the spokes nice and tight. The one wheel is in good condition while the other wheel has a broken spoke and a few cracked spokes(see pictures) The wood spokes look like they have had a couple of coats of paint of orange and maroon that give these wheels a nice vintage/rustic look. Vtg. Antique RAILROAD/ FACTORY CART CAST IRON CASTERS, 8” Wheels, Set of 4 These heavy duty cast iron casters were reclaimed from an old factory cart that was used in an industrial plant in central Arkansas. They have a nice patina from their age. Which is estimated at mid-20 th century. These casters were manufactured by Bond Caster in Manheim. PA and possess the Bond maker’s mark. They also have the number 2733. There are two swivel casters and two rigid casters. The entire assembly is approximately 10” long. The wheels are 8” in diameter and are 2” wide. The top plate is 4 ¾” wide x 6 ½” long. These casters are great for using in primitive furniture projects such as coffee tables and flower carts. These casters are very heavy. Only one swivel assembly fits in a large flat rate USPS box; one rigid assembly fits in a medium flat ... morerate USPS box. Consequently. Four separate packages will be used for shipping. Condition: While they have been brushed to remove loose debris. They have been in an industrial setting for years and need significant cleaning. These casters work well. One of the rigid casters has a top plate that is bent. Causing the alignment to be bit crooked. The wheel rotates without any rubbing. However. They are 3' in diameter and I'm told they are from a two wheel fire extinguisher cart. Possibly an Ajax or similar in the early 1900's. When I originally bought them years ago the old guy said he had the cart but actually didn't have anything but the wheels. A pair of 6 inch wheels fit Lineberry Factory Cart front and back. Shaft diameter is 9/16" tight. Width is 1 3/8 inches. These wheels where salvaged off carts that were out in the elements for a long time wood frams were rotten. I clean these up to show all the information. You are bidding on an antique silver plated figural napkin ring of a cart on wheels. It has a nice etched bird on the ring. This cart is missing the part pulling it. Most likely a goat. You can see on picture#3 where it would have been attached. The best aspect is the great condition it's in. I believe this has not been used much and sat in a china cabinet for many decades. It's 2 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" across. It was made by the Meriden Silver Co. dates from circa 1890- 1900. Offered here is a this Great Antique Set of 4 LARGE Cast Iron Industrial Cart Steel Caster Wheels that Bearing Swivel. These wheels are large and measure 5 3/4" diameter by 2"wide and attach to a base with holes 5 1/2" and 4 1/2" apart(center to center) The metal base which the bolts pass through is a true 1/2" thick so EACH wheel with bolts weighs 16lbs. The base of the wheel itself is even thicker as the pictures show! Each base measures 7" x 5" A USPS Large Flat Rate Shipping Box fits 2 wheels. There will be two boxes with two wheels each. This cart has be completely restored- great decor and very functional repurposed as a coffee table. It measures 48" long(53" to metal) by 25 1/2" wide and 15" tall. The distressed wood has lot of character which is all original. The wood was lightly sanded. Stained with Minwax"Cherry" then sealed with two coats of spar urethane. 4 Antique Cast Iron Scale Wheels for Hit Miss Gas Engine Cart, 5 in, old vintage
Here is a great set of 4 matching antique cast iron wheels. They each have 6 spokes that curve slightly. Giving them an attractive look. These wheels are 5 inches in diameter with a 1 7/16 inch tread or rolling surface. The axle hole is 11/16 inches in diameter. When we got them they were rusty, but we have cleaned the rust off of them with a wire brush and buffing pad. A small amount of light rust remains in the center holes and in between the spokes. These wheels are embossed with PA13 on one of the spokes. They came off of an old industrial scale cart. They would be perfect for a hit and miss engine cart, antique machinery display, or industrial furniture project.

The horse is paper mache with wood legs and sits on a wood platform with small red wood wheels. The horse is pulling a green wood cart with red wood wheels and red paint inside as well as red stripes on cart sides.
