$550.00 Shipping Condition: Used Location: Charlotte, United States Offered for sale is a Stunning Baker Furniture Hepplewhite Inlaid Mahogany Demilune Sideboard/Server/Buffet. This bowfront sideboard features two deep ... moredrawers and four curved doors with storage cabinets. All with beautiful brass carved pulls. The top drawer has the Baker nameplate and a green silverware liner and the drawer below is a tambour-style with an arched surround. The mahogany features a gorgeous inlaid cross-banded border with inlaid stringing all supported on six tapered legs with spade feet. The sideboard measures 66" wide x 37" high x 27.5" deep. I believe this sideboard is 20-25 years old but I am not sure of the exact age. It may be older. Overall it is in excellent condition with the following exceptions: there are a few light scuffs/scratches on the top(see pic#11) and the back left leg has a hairline crack that extends from the foot upwards approximately 3-4 inches(see pic#12) This crack does not appear to affect the sturdiness of the piece. I have discounted the price to reflect this issue. Overall, as is the case with all Baker mahogany furniture, this sideboard is a stunning piece of furniture that is a beauty to behold. Antique Mahogany Federal Style Inlaid Brandy Server Small Bow Front
This is a charming diminutive bow front brandy server. The server is 43 inches wide. 34 inches high and 18 ¼ inches deep. It is made of mahogany and has string inlay. The secondary wood is chestnut. It is Federal in style but dates to around 1900. There are 3 drawers over 4 doors. The back of the drawers are dovetailed but the fronts are not due to the curved shapes of the drawer fronts. It is in very good condition. There is a spot on the trim on the left center door that has some a little bit of damage. There is a chip on the right door across from the damage. Buffet has gorgeous inlaid design on both front-side of delicate bell flowers with a drop-twist and dot feature below as well as the same golden color edge trim around top-edge. Buffet has a serpentine drawer front with a bowed locking cabinet on each side. Key is included. Buffet rolls on 4 caster wheels. Top side flatware drawers. One on each side are felt lined and divided with a removable felt cover with leather pull tabs. Buffet is marked in drawer with the Drexel(pre-Drexel Heritage) logo on one side and a satin label"Wallace Nutting Furniture Treasury" ... moreon the other. Rackstraw originated in England around 1749. They specialized in making fine furniture of mahogany. Yew, and oak. Their focus was to make a high end item that would last for many ... morelifetimes. Because of their quality construction they are rarely sold, but instead handed down from generation to generation. We feel this sideboard was made around 1960. The wonderful mahogany has a splendid grain and beautiful color. Satinwood inlays and mahogany cross bands provide subtle. But necessary contrast around the doors, drawers, and top. Further enhancing the beauty of this sideboard are fluted details between the drawers and doors and down the legs. The legs themselves are tapered and end in spade feet. The cabinet doors stay closed with a spring latch and the drawers slide smoothly on wooden runners. The brass ring pulls are in great shape and are the right proportion for this size buffet. The only blemish on this bow front sideboard is a small separation in the top on the right hand side. We have pictured this in the photos. This separation is from shrinkage of the solid mahogany top that occurs when the wood breathes. This is a cosmetic phenomenon and does not affect the integrity of the top. We are pleased to offer this BEAUTIFUL antique(c1940s) sideboard. Hutch and buffet. This is an exceptional, 2 piece unit with Art Deco, Modern and Regency characteristics. The unit features a hutch with side, bow front doors and a center double(sliding) glass door. The glass is a"faux leaded" design achieved with interior gold gilding in a square pattern. The hutch is solid wood with mahogany veneer in a high gloss finish. The side, bow front doors are in a striking burl mahogany veneer. The hutch has abundant storage. One side features a mirrored back with 2 pull out drawers. The drawers retain the original green felt lining. There were two shelves in this side which are no longer present, but the shelf holders are still intact and shelves could be added. The other side retains its 3 mahogany shelves. The bow front doors are also ... morewrapped in mahogany veneer on their interior sections. The doors are designed with no knobs or pulls. They open by unlocking with a skeleton key. The glass door, center section, houses 2 long glass shelves with a bottom mahogany shelf/storage area. The hutch sits freely upon the buffet/server/sideboard with no attachment screws. The sideboard features an oak top in dark mahogany stain. It has a 3 door design. The doors feature burl mahogany. They are sleek and nondescript. With no handles, so as to give an illusion of one continuous piece. This is illusion is further achieved with a rectangular, gold painted border that crosses each door and extends across the entire front section. Each of the doors lock and they are opened by unlocking with the skeleton key. When opened, the doors expose a large, 2 shelf storage area which is not sectioned and runs the entire width of the sideboard. This is a beautiful antique unit which is functional as well. My parents purchased this in 1953 from a family moving to Australia. Heavy and very well made. It is in excellent condition, having been in storage for the past 18 years or so. The piece itself measures: 55" x 35 1/2" x 18/1/2" the top is 54" 20" There are four good-sized drawers in the middle; one lined silverware drawer on the top left-hand side; another lined drawer on the top right-hand side. 52935 50s SHERATON STRING INLAY FLAME MAHOGANY 56" BOW FRONT SIDEBOARD
A very nice Sheraton style string inlay solid mahogany sideboard. Circa 1950's. The drawer and door fronts are flame mahogany veneered. The drawer interiors are plain oak, the top drawer fitted for flatware and brown felt lined. Nice oval brasses with drop bails. It measures 3'3" 39" tall by 4'8" 56" wide by 23" deep at center. Very good plus condition: original finish, minor nick or faint scratch to top surface(as expected. All solid mahogany, and mahogany veneer fronts, without cracks or chips.

This one does have some moving scars around the skirt as is common with these pieces that go all the way to the floor. It is on overall very good condition though. This one measures 64 x 22 1/2 x 35.
