First in my grandma's house ... morewhile growing up and then in my own home for about the past 30 years. I was told that it was custom-made and that it is one-of-a-kind. I would describe the style as subtle art deco. I have used it as a sideboard/credenza/buffet/chest as well as storage in an office, where it received constant compliments. It is wonderfully well-made in a very subtle art deco/craftsman/eclectic design that will actually work well with and complement many styles of furniture, including mid-century modern, arts& crafts, Eames era, and craftsman. I have been told by a carpenter with knowledge of wood, that it is a fine grade of teak, with beautiful dovetailing and separations between the drawer compartments and cabinet sections. One of the two side drawers is lined with green felt and partitioned to accommodate serving pieces or silverware. On each side, under the small top drawers, is a door behind which is open storage with two levels. In the center are three drawers, one shallower drawer at the top and two deeper drawers below. It is designed so that the center section with the drawers is gracefully indented between a slightly wider section on each end, with the drawers and open storage. The corners solid wood top are gracefully rounded, as is the place where the center section curves out to meet the wider sides. The hardware is beautifully simple and well designed. It is in very good to excellent vintage/antique condition. With smoothly sliding drawers and very little in the way of surface cosmetic concerns. All the joints are. Dimensions: Width is 62-1/2 inches. The two outer sections are 21 inches deep. The center section is 19-1/2 inches deep. Height is 33-3/4 inches. Inside the doors. There are a good amount of light ... moresurface scratches to the finish, as well as water rings and some staining on the finish. The credenza has a slight serpentine shape, and paneled doors on each end with an attractive curving style. The crendenza has five (5) drawers, one of which has dividers built-in for flatware, and two (2) doors, that each open into large storage compartments with plenty of space and adjustable shelves in each. The crendenza has short curved legs. There are some small areas of veneer loss on the front of the piece, and these areas can be seen in the photos. There are some stains inside the drawers, which have dovetail joints. I am unsure of its age or manufacture of the piece.

The top of this unit has some scratching on it as well as a water ring and a couple small areas where it looks as if a darker stain or paint was spilled on this unit after it was refinished. Vintage Art Deco Sideboard or Credenza Wood with Bronze or Brass Hardware
Gorgeous Art Deco sideboard in a beautiful wood grain with bronze hardware(looks like bronze to us though we haven't tested and arent' experts so it could be brass) In good vintage condition with some discoloration and scraping to the lower and interior edges(we touched this up a bit but didn't go nuts) and some slight bubbling to the veneer on the rounded front corners. We showed a picture of this and it doesn't appear to be a problem and is only visible if you look down at the corners from above. The hardware shows some age and the middle center drawer doesn't slide quite all the way(very minor) Also there is a hole drilled in the back in the inside of one of the cabinet on the right the floor of the left cabinet has been replaced at some point with a piece of plywood. Another note is that there is a lip of wood along ... morethe back that appears to be original as it is the same exact wood and grain as the rest of the piece and the same finish and does not appear to be a later addition. The large top drawer is felt lined and divided for silverware. There is a short shelf inside each cupboard. It has charming applied carving along the front and in back of each drawer pull. Fully Fitted Mid-Century Walnut Bar Credenza with Rotating Sides and Formica Pull-Out Shelf. The most interesting feature to this piece are the rotating sides. Mirrored back shelves in the front turn to reveal a storage area behind with container/barware holders(also a mirrored back) Both turning sides are in excellent condition and circulate properly. Interior shelves and cut shelves are original; mirrored backs are in excellent condition. There is also a hidden pull-out shelf in the upper center portion of the credenza. Which reveals an additional prep/serving area. This feature has a black formica surface with a small brass pull. Below the pull-out shelf are 3 additional shelves behind 2 bubble glass doors. The glass doors constructed with individual panes of bubble glass. The front of the credenza is decorated with 2 black finished columns ... morewith round walnut bases and gilded acanthus leaf capitals. There is also a brass foliage piece cascading downwards from the top of the bar perpendicular to the columns(pictured) The top surface of the bar credenza follows the curves and corners of the compartments beneath making a very unique shape. The top is in overall excellent condition; crazing to the clear finish. There is a faint black speckled finish to the walnut surface throughout the piece.
