I am unsure if the type of wood it is made from, but it is most likely mahogany. This sideboard has amazing carved details on the embossed panels, and is very majestic, while being delicate and ornate at the same time. There are a few of the little decorative finial pieces that are loose. The key is intact with the piece. The piece has adjustable shelves on the top cabinet, and more shelving in the bottom section. This can be seen in the photos. The top piece by itself is 39” tall, and the bottom is 55" tall, making the piece an incredible 94" tall total.

For sale is a stunning mahogany sideboard! It is in very good condition! It is useful as a buffet server. Bookcase, plate rack and standing cabinet! The cabinet is in 2 pieces. The top has double plate rails on the top two shelves. The bottom has multiple areas and drawers for storage. The front and back feet are ogee bracket feet. Has fluted corners. Has partial missing door knob on middle left door. Finish is original and in excellent condition. Most likely 1950-60's. Classic piece and can be used anywhere in the house! Three drawers across the top with center drawer offering felt lined utensil dividers/ tray with its original fabric. Four elaborate fluted columns in the front. Loads of detail with applied leaf carving in gold under the top shelf applied over small mahogany dentil work. The drawers and sides have applied leaf and bow carving as well. Set of double doors in the lower center and 1 door each left and right sides and all open to large are with adjustable oak interior and oak shelf. Great contrasting appearance!
