Antique Tiger Oak Sideboard/ Buffet w/ Beveled Mirror and Claw Feet
What I have here is an outstanding Empire style tiger oak sideboard/ buffet circa 1900 with a tag from Picture Rocks. PA. The tag(photo shown) indicates the Burrows Bros. Co. Ltd. as the manufacturer. A fellow named Amos Burrows started the furniture co. in Lycoming County. Pennsylvania in 1856 and the enterprise was sold in 1939. This one is from the Burrow's Brothers unique"Roller Guide Line. Two tiny wooden wheels hold each drawer in place and enable smooth gliding back and forth. Some information on the manufacturer's history can be found on the internet at usgennet.org/usa/pa/county/lycoming/history/Chapter-31.html There are Claw feet in the front and straight legs in the back. All legs have the original wooden rollers for easily moving this piece around. The overall dimensions are 48" W x 22 1/2" D x 61 1/2" ... moreH. The height to the first level is 39" The height to the second level is 56 1/2" The two levels are connected by columns. The mirror is the original beveled mirror with the dimensions 37"W x 13"H. It has 2 drawers on top that are each 20 1/2" long. There is 1 long drawer in the middle of the piece that is 42" long. At the botto m are 2 doors w/ post in-between. There is a large open storage area behind these doors. The drawers and doors have beautiful decorative brass knobs as pulls(photo shown) Some minor imperfections- as shown in pictures- are: varnish spot(top left side) slight warpage of veneer in one spot(top right ride) and two spots of discoloration in mirror The 2 drawers on top. The long drawer in the middle, and the two bottom doors, all have keyholes for locking, but no key. Overall condition is very good. Considering its age. We've really cared for this piece. Tiger Oak Buffet With Lions Heads, Reduced Again (For the last time)
Up for auction is this awesome solid tiger oak buffet in excellent original finish. The mirror supports are graced with fearsome lions heads as are the front legs which taper down into paw feet. I has all the original hardware as well as the beveled glass mirror. There is some rippling on the side panels which is hard to notice unless you get up close and personal. There is also a repair on the third middle drawer. None of these minor flaws affect the overall grace and value of this stunning piece. Additional picturea are available upon request. Altough it is for pickup only. I can deliver it locally. I also have a shipper, rates to be determined. Dimensions are 4' wide, 20" deep, 41" to the flat portion and 59" to the overall top.

1820s tiger oak buffet
This buffet was built in France circa 1820. It is in perfect condition. The drawers are dove tailed and not loose. They slide in and out. The doors are un cracked and do not sag or rub. The three beveled mirrors are un scratched and in perfect condition. All the finials are original and not cracked. There are no water mark or rings on the top or on serving shelf. This is a superb example of fine 17 century furniture.

English sideboard in tiger oak. Jacobean style. Circa 1920. Measurements: 54" long x 18 1/2" deep. Panelled back is 7 1/2" high. Total height is 44" There are 4 metal pear drop pulls on the 2 panelled dovetailed drawers- not original. The cupboards. However, have the original pulls with lock system. No key. Lots of decoration. The legs are barley twist and the barley twist continues on both sides of the upper portion of the cupboards. The top panel is pegged into the sideboard and could be removed. If desired, for traveling and then glued solidly in when this piece is in its final position. The feet are bulbous with a stretch system between. There is a minor separation along a seam on the right side of the cupboard. The bottom drawer is a s ingle full width drawer! There i s a built-in felt lined silverware drawer in the right cabinet! Each set of cabinets are designed to lock! note- locks are in place- there are no keys) The Buffet Table is Approximately 6' 72" in length x 38" Tall(42.5" tall including back splashboard) x 23" Deep The cabinet height from the top of the legs is approximately 22" Over all. This buffet table is in very good condition for it's age, but it does need some minor repairs- please see below for details- The top of the table does show wear from use and age. Most of the wear is sur face wear and a lot of it could probably be buffed ... moreout if so desired. The photo was taken at an angle to capture the detail and over emphasi zes the appearance. Aesthetically. The biggest issue is the small piece of missing trim on the right side of the left half of the drawer. There are two spindles that are not in place across the bottom. Unfortunately. The drawer is currently difficult to open and close, but I believe this is due to the bottom spindles not being in place and would be easily remedied. Vintage Quarter Sawn Tiger Oak English Style Deco Buffet / Dresser
Beautiful English(I believe) tiger quarter sawn oak 2-drawer. 2-door buffet, measures 54" wide, 20" deep and 35 1/2" high. Features a plate rail at the back for display, platformed bun feet in the front, beautiful leaf-and-berry design relief work and reeding as decoration in the front, and its original green felt-lined silverware drawer. I believe this to be in the Art Deco era, possibly 1930s or 1940s, because of the type of handles, but I don't know for sure. Solid, heavy piece in excellent condition. I used it for a dresser, which worked wonderfully, but this could work well as its intended purpose- a buffet or sideboard- or could be used as an entertainment center if you wished. The long drawer in the middle needs slight repair to the bottom of the drawer to keep it from sticking. original glass knobs are gone but easily found in antique markets.this piece was covered in multiple layers of oil paint. The hinges to doors are missing. One door is cracked but can be repaired with glue. Antique Art Deco Buffet This is a gorgeous. Antique piece of furniture. It could be called by many names and serve a variety of purposes: hutch, bar, sideboard, buffet, credenza, server or china cabinet. Whatever you call it, it is a lovely piece of furniture. The previous owner stated that she acquired this from Europe, specifically England. The only marking is"220" in chalk on the back. The buffet appears to be composed of tiger oak. With a medium-tone finish. The wood features carved ornamentation of fruit and foliage, a motif very popular during the Art Nouveau period from 1910-1930. The surface of the buffet has a marble top that is red in color with gray veining. There is a beveled mirror on the recessed portion of the top section of the buffet. The doors of the buffet have beautiful brass pulls and working locks. We have ... morethe original key, which operates all of the locks. The doors have a unique brass hinge design which allows them to be removed without the use of a tool. The top center door is glass. The final feature, which is also my favorite, are the curved feet that support the body of the buffet. This is a gorgeous. LARGE AND HEAVY TIGER OAK Sideboard BUFFET in the American EMPIRE style(also called FEDERAL) Beautiful SOLID TIGER OAK. According to the book American Oak Furniture, it is from 1900-1906. SIZE: 60" wide X 25" deep at top. 52" height. Top is almost 2" thick. Great Shape. Beveled mirror. Inside bottom doors have a half shelf at back for great storage. A single long drawer across the bottom. Original hardware- see photo. Tried to capture the rich tiger oak color but photos don't do it justice. I love this piece but am now in a wheelchair and it's just too large to navigate around. Victorian. Tiger Oak Ornate Carved Lion Head& Paw Foot Buffet Sideboard. In very good condition this piece has paw feet with a cabinet above. One large and two smaller dovetailed drawers above the cabinet. There are two lion head carvings at each side of the larger drawer. There is a large beveled mirror in the top center that measures approx. 37" by 23" inches A column on each side of the mirror with carved lion design at bottom that curves into a candle shelf on each side. The cornice has a large carved center pediment. A great collectible piece of furniture. Size is: 50" wide 24" deep 82" high. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have on this buffet.

Early 20th century tiger oak server/buffet with beveled mirror over four drawers and three door cupboards. Original brass hardware intact. Good condition for age. Measurements are 5' wide. 25" deep and 55" high(including mirror and shelf) Server has wood carved grape decorations. There is one dark stain on top surface of server, a veneer issue on right hand front corner, and a missing piece to one of the grape decorations(see photos) A partial newspaper dated 1905 was found inside the top middle drawer.
