Antique Leuchtenburg Sugar Bowl w/Lid & Creamer Germany 1895 to 1937
Estate Sale Find Up for auction is a sugar bowl and creamer set from Leuchtenburg Germany. There is very little information available on Leuchtenburg. But I did find that they were a manufacturer of porcelain from 1895 to 1937. The set features a sugar bowl with lid and a creamer/milk jug in a pearly white with a floral design of pink and white roses with yellow and green leaves. The feet and the top of the lid are a pale grey-green color. The edges of both pieces are scalloped and there is some white embossing on the lid and on the body of both. There is one minor flaw– on one handle of the sugar bowl. The little top decoration is broken off(you can see this in photo 2) but it feels smooth and is barely noticeable. This aside, the set is in excellent condition for its age and came from a collection of German/Austrian porcelain that had been ... moreextremely well looked after. Both pieces show the back stamp LUCHTENBURG MADE IN GERMANY and what looks like a castle. I hope that this is the treasure you’ve been looking for– thanks for looking and good luck in bidding! DESCRIPTION: This absolutely stunning vintage English cream& sugar set exemplifies the elegance and style that was 1930s Art Deco. Timeless in its appeal. This set looks amazing in traditional or very modern decor! The deep, glossy black is the perfect compliment to the gorgeous gold leaf.all shine with a subtle, interesting pattern. Please keep in mind that these pieces were VERY hard to photograph well. Their shine and my black camera were not a good combination, and it may look as if the gold has black wear marks, but it's only the terrible reflections. For being about 80-85 years old, these really are in very good shape, and you will be proud to own or gift them. Please see below for condition details. DIMENSIONS/SIZE: Creamer is about 2-1/2" tall. And 2-1/4" wide at the base. Sugar bowl is 2" tall, and 3-1/4" ... morewide across the top. CONDITION: These are in wonderful condition- looks like they were hardly used. No chips. Cracks, or significant wear to the gold. All the black glaze on both pieces is smooth and glossy, unblemished except for on the creamer, where there is a bit of gold leaf overpaint at the base of the handle, and one tiny dot of gold on one side, just below the solid gold line, visible on one of the creamer's photos. The gold inside of the creamer is smooth and perfectly glossy, but the sugar bowl's inside does have some fine spoon mark patina to it, but none of the gold has been scratched off. antique sugar bowl transferware. This is mulberry purple. A charming piece with a man and a woman in a pleasure boat. There is a garden folly in the background. Floral pattern. Unknown mark on the bottom. Just about everything that could be wrong is wrong with this piece but it is still so charming. There are chips cracks crazing. Discoloration all over the piece. Discolored inside and outside. Actually the only good thing to report is that the lid top seems to be in good shape. About 7 1/2 inches wide handle to handle. About 5 1/2 inches tall. I do not know who made this piece.

BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE/ANTIQUE Creamer and Covered Sugar! Stunning pattern and intricate detail. NO crazing. Chips, worn paint at all! These were a set belonging to my great grandmother. They have been in her curio cabinet in her home, my grandmothers, my mothers, and mine. The only marking is a purple D on the lip of the creamer. They were used by great grandmother and grandmother. But as you can see from the pictures.they are in excellent shape. The bottoms are not even with scuff marks at all! The creamer measures 4.5" from the lip to the handle and the base is 2" X 2" and is approx 3.75" tall. Vintage Retro Austria Lusterware Creamer Pitcher
You are purchasing a cute retro creamer or small pitcher. It was made in Austria. It looks to be hand painted. Brushstrokes are clearly visible in the blue and red rectangles. As you can see in the pictures. The orange bands look like lusterware. The rest is more muted and only faintly glossy thanks to the glaze. It's an interesting combination and makes for a very cool piece that could fit in with a lusterware collection or just bring a bit of shine to any table setting. It measures about 4-1/4" high by 3-5/8" across. Not counting the handle or spout. The mark on the bottom looks like a“W” within a container of some sort. Based on the information on this page. It looks like this piece was made by H Wehinger& Co in the early 20 th Century. There is absolutely no damage to this piece. As far as we can tell. No cracks, chips, ... morecrazing or even fleabites on the rim. There are a couple of minor manufacturing flaws. As you might expect. These are all glazed over, so they definitely aren't damage. The orange is missing in a couple of small patches. The black is smudged in a couple of small spots. There's an orange dot near the bottom of the pitcher. There are a couple of orange flecks on the top rim. See pictures for details on all of these, with a pen so you can get a sense for the size. Again, these are manufacturing flaws, not damage. Not bad for this lovely old(200 years) Sugar. I purchased the Sugar B owl at an estate auction. And tucked inside the bowl is a n old letter(included with this bowl) t o the owner from a fr iend in whch she states she has found a long lost newspaper article which connects this sugar bowl to the Battle of Trafalgar. House/trees design This vintage Noritake creamer and sugar set has the magenta mark on the bottom which shows the following: Noritake” The M in the wreath, Hand Painted, and"Made in Japan. A slightly different scene appears on each piece but each scene shows a house, trees and what appears to be a body of water. The design appears only on one side of each piece. The background color for each is the traditional Noritake orange. I'm sorry that the photos are blurred, but I had to take them on museum setting since I kept getting a glare from the glaze. The creamer stands a little over 3 and a half inches tall at the tallest part of the spout and is about 4 inches wide at the widest area, including the handles. The sugar is about 2 and a fourth inches high and 6 inches wide including the handles. Gorgeous Hand Painted & Ribbed Fine Porcelain Creamer~ANTIQUE
This petite and delicate hand painted fine porcelain creamer is just stunning—so thin-walled that light penetrates easily. And so delicately painted that it has a flow blue look to it. Has fluted sides, and a fluted shape to the handle. The spout also has lovely lines. Has a decorative medallion on each side at the top, done in high relief. There is a hand painted sailing vessel with a tiny man in the stern on the front, and an equally tiny man in a tiny boat on the other side. The decoration has a decidedly Delft feel, making this piece both charming AND beautiful! Unsure maker or of exact age. But I believe this piece to be from the mid to late 1800s. This is an early period all over shiny Copper Lustre glazed mirror finish Ovoid Sugar Bowl in the period boat-form preferred in the earlier days of pottery design and manufacture. Presumably. To accommodate sugar lumps and chunks in the days before granulated bags of ground sugar were a common household commodity. This piece does not have its matching top but can happily serve its new owner as a wrapped candy dish or squat bloom vase or catch all for whatever small objects litter your work space! It stands alone as a fat coppery pot quite proudly as a shelf piece. Side of body has pair of embossed"wings" with three rib flanges each on flat side radiating upwards. Overall exterior color is a medium dark copper color with some light frosting in the ridges as part of manufacture ... moreprocess. Unusual Heavily Gilded Limoges Creamer and Sugar Bowl Set, c1900
Offered here is a rather unusual Limoges creamer and sugar dating to about 1900. The rims and handles are darkly gilded with the sprig accents are more brightly gilded and raised off the surface. The sugar measures about 6" across the handle and is a little shy of 4 1/2" tall to the top of the finial. The creamer is 5 1/4" across handle and spout and 3 3/4" tall to the top of the handle. Both pieces are in clean perfect condition with very little to report in the way of wear to the gilding. This is an auction for an antique GKC Bavaria. Germany hand painted cream and sugar set. This mark was used between 1900 and 1945. It is in perfect condition, no nicks, chips, cracks or crazing and gold is in very good condition. I believe these were only displayed. There are 6 tulips, 3 on each side and each is a different color. It is very pretty and perfect for Spring. It would look great on display or for use. This is an old creamer and it was used. There are spots at the edge of the base. On handle and the tip where you pour from that have the glaze chipped away, however, that is not so noticable due to color. Arabia, Made in Finland and the number 27. This sugar bowl is complete with lid. It measures 2.25" high without the lid and 3.5" across. The condition is good pre-owned. There are no chips or cracks. There is crazing inside and out and a few craze lines on the lid. Inside the bowl there is a ring around the bottom that has a pale brown discolouration. With the sugar in. You'll not see it. KPM Vintage Porcelain Sugar Bowl Attributed to Seaman
Up for your consideration is an old KPM handpainted Lidded Porcelain Sugar Bowl done with vines and flowers all around. The background along the upper portion is pink which flows up to the inside of sugar bowl. The top also has pink back ground around the rim where it flows into the base there is alot of gold around the top of bowl up both handles and on the handle portion of the top. The bottom is marked as shows in picture In green is KPM Germany with a line and two lines vertically going through it and in maroon color is Seaman which was artist who did many older KPM pieces.
