The cup is 2 7/8 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches across and the Saucer is 5 inches across and 3/4 inches tall. The saucer does have a lot of the gold gilt wear off around floral spray in cartouche and some on cup as well, this is very old so you will always find that. Beautiful Staffordshire 18th Century batt printed creamware pitcher with luster highlights. There are three scenes depicted on the pitcher: the first is of a country manor house with a coach and deer in the fore ground. On the opposite side of the pitcher is a representation of a man in period costume watching two seated woman. One with an infant and the other removing fish from two baskets, while an other man is seen in the back ground netting fish from a small boat. The third depiction, under the spout, is of a woman in a flowing gown sitting in front of several bushes. Antique Spongeware Stick Spatter Covered Crock Bowl c. 1790-1835 attributed to Scotland Earthenware crockery Diamond pattern with Stencil Bowl has a lovely cobalt blue diamond pattern also decorated in green along the base and some yellow Figures stenciled and hand colored. A man with walking stick and a woman with bib apron, there are stenciled trees done in a black as well as the ground The bowl has two handles and a nice finiel top No mark. Bottom is unglazed and Condition. Glorious Green Edge Wreck from an 18th / 19th century Dinner Party --Pearlware
Hopefully the dinner party was more successful than the fate of the piece. This is a lovely piece that would benefit from some serious restoration. It has a very nice shell and leaf handle still attached to a large section of the bowl. It also has a nicely molded green edge with ribbing along the bowl from top to bottom. It stands 4 inches high and measures 8 inches long. It's 3 1/2 inches wide at its widest. Despite the smash up this piece has been sold ar least twice as witnessed by the labels on the bottom. Rare Ribbed Orange Peel 18th century Chinese Export Helmet Shaped Pitcherr
This is one of the best Chinese Export Helmet pitchers I have every had. It is in a museum quality state of preservation decorated in a mainly red palette with blue highlights. The surface is superb with an all over pebbly orange peel like surface. This piece also features a rare ribbed base taken from a silver form and fully articulated bamboo handle.
