Antique Brown Transferware Pitcher Creamer English Staffordshire Ironstone Vtg
This auction is for an antique little pitcher. Probably a creamer in brown transferware. It is English, possibly with the pattern name of Indiana. It is a little less than 4 inches tall and in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. It has an oriental or asian design. The bottom has the maker's mark which is partly rubbed off and I can't be sure of who made it. Below the maker's mark it says, England, Indiana" I suppose this piece could possibly have been part of a children's set with its small size. I believe ths piece is from the mid 1800's. Email with any questions. Check out my other auctions!

ANTIQUE 19TH C ENGLISH COPPER LUSTRE PORCELAIN SUGAR BOWL PERIOD FORM SHINY OLD
SHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.COPPER LUSTRE IS GOING TOPLESS THESE DAYS! This is an early period all over shiny Copper Lustre glazed mirror finish Ovoid Sugar Bowl in the period boat-form preferred in the earlier days of pottery design and manufacture. Presumably. To accommodate sugar lumps and chunks in the days before granulated bags of ground sugar were a common household commodity. This piece does not have its matching top but can happily serve its new owner as a wrapped candy dish or squat bloom vase or catch all for whatever small objects litter your work space! It stands alone as a fat coppery pot quite proudly as a shelf piece. Side of body has pair of embossed"wings" with three rib flanges each on flat side radiating upwards. Overall exterior color is a medium dark copper color with some light frosting in the ridges as part of manufacture ... moreprocess. Nicely thick sturdy table ring bottom and very shiny under there.see Picture 5. Gentle flared open mouth area with thick rim to prevent chips. Sugar Bowl stands 4" tall and 5.5" across. A goodly size. Condition Report: NO damage or hairlines. No chips, no problems except that is topless! One miniscule glaze flake 1/8" on rim saddle almost not worth mentioning. Item will mail via Priority well bubble wrapped suspended in a bed of foam peanuts with insurance included to new owner. Pretty please with SUGAR on top, but only if you bid lively! ANTIQUE HAND PAINTED ENGLISH PORCELAIN CREAM PITCHER- GRAVY BOWL SILVER LUSTER C1820 POSSIBLY SPODE I SHIP WORLDWIDE IMPORTANT BIDDING AND PAYMENT INFORMATION: IF YOU PLAN TO BID ON THIS ITEM AND ARE THE HIGH BIDDER I WOULD LIKE TO ASK THAT YOU DO NOT PAY ME UNTIL YOU RECEIVE MY INVOICE NOT THE INVOICE THAT IS GENERATED IMMEDIATELY AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE SALE BY EBAY. Ebay now has rules that all sellers MUST ship items for which they have been paid within one business day without exception. Those who follow my sales and have bought from me over the years know that I have always had a policy of shipping within 24 hours of a sale(see my feedback) However, there are times when I am out of town unexpectedly for a house call, an auction or an estate call and it simply is not possible to get to the post office in time. Also, if you find that ... morethere is more than one item you are interested in bidding on over a given time period and would like to take advantage of combined shipping, please again, DO NOT pay me until the last of those items you're watching has finished. I will then send you an invoice with an adjusted shipping fee which saves on postage. I never charge a"handling fee" I would rather wait a few days on a payment and extend you the advantage of lower shipping fees than to be paid immediately- not ship- and then be scored negatively by eBay for not shipping soon enough. Offered in this sale is an early English porcelain gravy boat or cream pitcher with hand painted decoration and silver luster embellishing that I believe date circa 1820s or 30s. It is not marked in any way. However, I believe it could be by Spode. It measures roughly 4 1/2" tall x 6 1/4" from handle to spout. The condition is very good. There is a small chip on underside of the base rim and there is a darkened line on the base that is only visible on the bottom, it does not go through. The piece has a nice"ring" to it when you tap it with your finger. I have more than twenty 19th century Staffordshire figur

Antique Charles Meigh English Relief Molded Salt Glaze 1800s Creamer & Sugar
Antique Charles Meigh English Relief Molded Salt Glaze 1800s Creamer& Sugar Antique English Relief Molded Salt Glaze 1800s Creamer& Sugar Victorian Children’s Seasons A magnificently modeled full size creamer and lidded sugar dating to the 1852 period. Could be a little earlier, as unusually for Charles Meigh, there is no makers mark only an impressed number 30. See"Relief Moulded Jugs 1820-1900" by R Henrywood, plate 122 for the Four Seasons jug equivalent to this same pattern and time period. By adding pure salt to the glaze during the firing technique, the item was made totally durable and waterproof with no risk of leaks, distinguishable by its slightly orange peel feel! The SUGAR measures 6” X 6 ¼” The CREAMER measures 4 ¾” X 5 ½” What makes this item stand out is the quality of molding and sprigging. ... moreSo absolutely crisp with four extremely detailed depictions. The egg and dart molding around the neck is a direct copy from ancient Greek. Roman architecture. This is also shown in the Acanthus leaf decoration at the base of the handle. We adore the four cartouches each surrounded by scrolling leaves. Inside each cartouche is a sprigged figure(this is when the decoration is attached separately by hand) They appear as children all dressed in classical attire each depicting one of the four seasons. We see a crouched girl with corn seed in her hand, the next boy is harvesting the wheat crop, the next boy is seated drinking wine and the final girl is wrapping herself up to protect herself from the Winter wind. Amongst the scrolling leaf design, between each pair of cartouches we see a bird flying above and a snake or serpent climbing towards it. The decoration on the handle and spout is just as decorative with a rams head design. We have not found any chips. Cracks repairs to this set at all. We have looked at these pieces under blacklight to see if there is anything to note and there was nothing found. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions…Good luck and have a gr

Antique English SILVER LUSTRE Pottery Creamer/Gravy Pitcher: Poor Man's Silver
Antique English SILVER LUSTRE Pottery Creamer/Gravy Pitcher: Poor Man's Silver Up for sale is a handsome antique English silver lustre creamer or gravy pitcher. When the middle class began to emerge in the early to mid 19th century they wanted silver serving sets like the upper glass. But couldn't afford it. That's when these economical earthenware pottery silver lustre pieces were crafted-their shiny silver was popular with the middle class. It's 5.25" long from spout to handle, 2.5" at its widest and 4" at its tallest. There's a chip on the side of the lip as in the photos and 2 small nicks on the side of the spout. There is some loss to the lustre wear in certain spots. I purchased this at an estate auction and was told it dates to approx. 1840s. Please note that my shipping time is up to 5 business days ... moreas I have multiple jobs and can only ship one day a week. If you happen to purchase after I return from the post office on shipping day it will be a full week wait until I am able to ship again. But most people will have a much shorter wait and some will have very fast shipping. No one will have to wait more than 5 business days. Thank you for understanding.

Antique Ridgways Creamer Sugar Sunshine Ware Art Deco Pattern English Pottery
This is a very rare and unique creamer with lid and sugar in a fabulous art deco style. The background glaze is a light pink sponge over a white body. The hand painted floral is of a geometric style in black. Grays and offset with a deep rosy pink& bright yellow. Backstamp ~ Ridgways. Sunshine Ware. England. And an import stamp for Macy’ in the form of a ship in full sail. I believe this stamp is a symbol for Macy’s original store in New York that is considered their“Flagship” store. Circa ~ I have not been able to find information on this particular Ridgway mark however I have been able to bring in an approximate date of production. Noted is the name Ridgways verses Ridgway. This name change took place from 1879 and was in use until 1920. The location, England” Was added to the mark in 1891. In 1920 another change was the addition of ... moreLtd and/or Bedford Works which is not on these pieces. Therefore the Ridgways Sunshine Ware was manufactured sometime during 1891– 1920 and was a Macy’s export probably produced exclusively for Macy’s. Macy’s History ~ This is taken from Wikipedia; Macy's was founded by. Who between 1843 and 1855 opened four retail stores. Including the original Macy's store in downtown. Established in 1851 to serve the mill industry employees of the area. They all failed. But he learned from his mistakes. Macy moved to New York City in 1858 and established a new store named"R.H Macy Dry Goods" on between and. Which was far north of where other dry goods stores were at the time. On the company's first day of business on October 28. 1858 sales totaled US$11.08. Equal to $297.09 today. From the very beginning, Macy's logo has included a star in one form or another, which comes from a tattoo that Macy got as a teenager when he worked on a Nantucket whaling ship. The Emily Morgan. Condition ~ is excellent. The only discrepancy is a small chip on the inside rim of the creamer. Please note photos. Measurements ~ Creamer Height; 3” ~ Creamer Length from spot to handle; 5” ~ Su
