An antique 1909 Birmingham hallmarked Asprey& Co. sterling silver mounted glass cream pitcher. The petite size pitcher measures 3 5/8" height. It is in very nice condition with no chips or cracks but does show a couple of small scratches on the edge near the base. The silver is in perfect condition and the lid opens and closes properly. The base shows a starburst pattern. Nice item from a top maker. Starts low with no reserve. On Feb-09-13 at 12:49:44 PST. Antique 19th Century Miniature Bisque Porcelain Creamer Cream Pitcher - c.1842
This is a diminutive cream pitcher or creamer done in white bisque porcelain with a collar depicting wheat stalks. Berries and leaves, all done in relief. The bottom is decorated with a ribbed pattern and the handle has a gentle twist. The bottom has a British Registration porcelain pad indicating the pattern was registered between 1842-1867. Approximate measurements are 2.75" tall by 2.25" wide. It's possible this was part of a Victorian child's tea set. There is one very tiny flea bite on the spout and some manufacturing black specks and roughness on the spout. Despite being up to 150 years old. It is in outstanding condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs and no damage to the elaborate relief design. A beautiful little pitcher. R S Prussia Cream Pitcher & Sugar Bowl Set Fruit & Roses Antique Porcelain
Offered is an R. S. Prussia cream pitcher and covered sugar bowl made circa 1910. The set has a flared shape with a pedestal base. Ruffled around the rim with a white medallion on the front. Arched handles and a fancy finial. Decorated with pink roses and clusters of fruit. Pears and grapes. The green background has white shadow flowers. The creamer is 5 1/4" wide(spout tip to handle edge) and 3 1/2" high. The sugar bowl is 6" wide and 4 1/2" high to top of finial. The lid to the sugar bowl may be a replacement as it does not fit snuggly but wobbles when tapped. The inner ring is smaller than the bowl opening and the shape is slightly warped. This beautifully shaped antique creamer measures approximately 3½" wide and 3¾" high. It features what looks to me like a woman in reeds in white relief with spattered green and luster background; the top edge is embossed with a floral pattern- the pattern might be IRIS. It is marked Crown R ALTENBURG SAXONY. According to Kovels' This mark was used by Porcelain Manufactory Unger& Schilde of Roschutz, Thuringia, Germany. The pottery was founded by Karl Unger and Bernhard Schilde in 1881. Some of the decoration was done by families, including young children, who worked in their homes. The company was nationalized in 1953. The mark they show was used beginning about 1906 but has IRIS added to it- I can't find anything about any other marks they used. For your consideration. This is an antique/vintage Made in Germany lusterware cream pitcher and sugar bowl. It has a lovely rose pattern border. There are hints of shades of green and pink in the lusterware. There are also additional flowers painted on the side. There are also gold accents on the front of each piece which are not worn. It's a delicate set, the pitcher measuring approximately 3 1/2" high and 4 1/2" wide. The sugar bowl to the top of the lid measuring just a bit taller. The bowl is approximately 6 1/4" wide from handle to handle. There are no chips. There is a fine line crack in the glaze in the pitcher. It is on the surface only. This is a set of sugar bowls and a cream pitcher. All have a pumpkin shape and design. The larger bowl seems to be newer. Beautiful Paragon Fine China Pitcher Description: 3 ½” tall X1947/2 pattern Hand painted oriental pattern with pagoda-gold rim Stamped bottom matches 1935 identifying mark Made in England Excellent condition The name Paragon China was introduced by the Star China Co. in 1903 to reflect their high standards. And the company moved to the Atlas Works, Sutherland Road. Longton. Herbert Aynsley's daughter married Hugh Irving in 1907 and he subsequently joined his father-in-law as a partner in the Star China Company when Illingworth retired in 1910. Such was the popularity of Paragon China that the company decided to change its name to become The Paragon China Company in 1920. The Creamer measures 5-3/4" tall with a helmet-shaped spout and jointed handle with embossed and gilded leaves at its top and bottom. The Sugar Bowl measures 6-1/2" to the top of the gilded rosebud finial. By 5" across the leaf-form handles. Vintage Antique 22 Karat Gold Painted Cream Pitcher & Sugar Creamer Octagonal
Up for auction is a very old but very sparkly cream pitcher and sugar bowl. They are painted in 22 K gold(warranted. Per the inscription on the base) and are in very good used condition-some light wear on the edges, but this does not photograph well. There are also a few light scratches and a place on the creamer where the paint is rubbed off(about 1/16 inch area) but again, these are quite small and difficult to show in the pictures. The gold paint is inside and out, making for a very lovely set. They measure about 3 inches across the top and are 2-1/2 inches in diameter at the base, and both are 2-1/2 inches tall. They are eight-sided-very interesting shape!

This very old small cream pitcher is in very good vintage condition considering it could be 100+ years old. It is a lovely cream color and has no chips or repairs although it exhibits slight crazing. The discoloring below the spout is not a crack but a craze mark in the glaze. The bottom is marked underglaze with"K.T. K. The letters"S-V" Semi Vitreous? China" and the initials of the artist"RHC" Knowles. Taylor& Knowles started their enterprise in 1870. According to my on-line research this is a very early mark. It measures about 4 inches tall and about 4"+- at its widest point.

The creamer is made of earthenware and it is hand-decorated in the Amish Snowflake pattern which consists of a deep cobalt flow blue color with snowflakes and a herringbone style border. The bottom of the creamer is not marked. But this pattern can be seen in Kelly& Kowalsky's Spongeware book on pg. 209. Overall the creamer stands approximately 4" in tall. Antique Porcelain 5" Cream Pitcher; 2 ladies in pink & sponged gold finish.
Description: this is a precious pitcher. It is a reticulated round body narrowing at the neck and with a scalloped rim. The front side features a lovely transfer print of two young Victorian ladies. Complete with up-dos, at a garden table; one is seated and costumed in mauve and the other is standing in pink ruffles and showing her matching stockings. They are intrigued by a little tortoise who has joined the party- lower left. The print exhibits a great deal of detail. This threesome is enhanced with sponged gold applied above and below. Molded bows adorn four regular insets around the top. The reverse of the pitcher shows a stylized star-flower in gold. The handle is gold finished, as is the rim. There are no apparent markings, Size: 4 1/2" spout to bow of handle x 2 2/8" top diameter; 3 1/2" diameter at widest part of body. ... moreAnd 5" height. Condition: I find no cracks. Hairlines or chips. The interior is clean with one or two water marks and a couple of fabrication pits- they appear as tiny dots. Nothing in essence which detracts. The gilded handle shows signs of wear from rubbing and has, I think, been supplemented with one gold paint which could either stay or be removed. I don't know if this is also true of the rim. Personally I would leave well alone if you are not concerned with full restoration- I don't think this needs any. As always, if you have any questions please e-mail me prior to bidding.

Antique Johnson Brothers Flow Blue Cream Pitcher-Argyle Pattern-Nice Cond.
Here is a beautiful Flow Blue Argyle pattern creamer from Johnson Brothers(England) As you can see it has a little wear on the gilding around the top edge and it does have some crazing visible on the inside. Pictures do not show the crazing very well. Also. There is a small chip in the pour spout that looks like a manufacture error(Under the glaze) Also, some wear on the'feet' where the creamer has rested on the table these many years. Creamer otherwise in good condition. See the pictures and a few more details below. Color of creamer: flow blue and white with some goldtone within the pattern. The total height of this creamer: about 4 1/4 inches to the highest point of the pour spout. About 4 inches across at the widest point. It has been hand painted with Pink flowers on a white porcelain background Gold edging is almost completely worn off. But pitcher is in Very Good Condition with no damage.
