Antique Old Noritake Nippon Porcelain Creamer - The Oriental Pattern - Rare
Hi. For sale a small creamer the back stamp says The Oriental. and it has Noritake M in a green wreath and Nippon. It has flowers and red paint around the trim. I believe this is from late 1800's to 1915 or around that time. Older pieces have Made in Japan or Japan according to the Gotheberg website around 1920 they used the word Japan or made in Japan not Nippon which means Japan. It is 3 inches wide and 3 inches in heigth. There is wear on the paint which is to be expected for and old piece but there are no chips. Cracks or crazing. It is a cute little piece. This is a lovely Hand Painted Nippon creamer. 3" to top of lid and 4 1/2" across including handles. It has the rising sun mark on the bottom. Beautiful flowered design as you can see, richer colors than appears her. No chips, cracks or repairs, just on tiny flea mark on th top rim toward the back. Slight fading of the gold lines that trim the edge of the handles but displays beautifully. It will be packed with care. Handpaint Antique Nippon Cream & Sugar Bowl
For sale is a lovely Nippon marked with a crown. Set of creamer and sugar bowl. They are decorated with flowers and a cottage scene. A little different in each scene. The creamer measures 5 3/4 long x 3 1/8 wide x 2 3/4 tall. On both pieces there is some gold loss on the handles and knob so I believe this set was used often. They are hand painted. And you can feel the pictures, as well as the raised gold paint dots that run around the tops. The sugar bowl measures 7 handle to handle x 4 wide x 3 1/2 with knob. No cracks. Antique Nippon art nouveau open sugar bowl and creamer, geometric with gold
The two pieces are in near perfect condition and carries a"Green Crown" mark. The creamer has a small chip in the bottom- about two pin heads big. Joan Van Patten's book"Van Pattern"s ABC's of Collecting Nippon" refers to this as the'Green Crown Mark#10' with'Hand Painted' in Red and'Nippon' in green below the crown. Circa 1891-1921.

Seven Antique Cream Pitchers: 5 Lusterware, 1 Hand Painted Nippon, 1 Eisenberg
Presented here is a grouping of 7 small cream pitchers. They are all in excellent condition with the possible exception of the next to largest which has a tiny rough spot on the spout. The smallest lusterware pitcher has age crackles. 1. The tallest pitcher-4 1/2 inches in height. Bottom diameter 2 inches. The mark has the crossed arrows with 6871 P. That would be the Kalk Porcelain Factory, Eisenberg in E. Germany. See the photos. 2. Next in height-unmarked. Trimmed and decorated with luster. Three inches height, 4 inches from outer part of spout to outer part of handle. Tiny roughness on right side of spout. 3. Smallest pitcher-2 inches tall. 1 1/2 inch from end of spout to end of handle. I think the mark says SANDLAND WARE, L& S LTD. England. I believe this to be the oldest pitcher both from the fine crackling and the mark. It is also ... moreone of the finest. 4. Ye Olde Jug Inn"2 1/4 inches tall. 2 1/2 inches from outer spout to end of handle. This is a beautifully crafted little pitcher with lusterware in droplet form. The old Jug Inn is pictured with the words"Ye Olde Jug Inn" The mark is Old Castle in England. 5. Copper trim lusterware with hand painted berries and leaves-2 1/4 inches tall. 2 3/4 inches from outer spout to outer handle. The mark is Gray Pottery, Stoke, England. This is really pretty. 6. Copper luster with gravely body-2 1/4 inches tall. Outer spout to widest part of handle, about 2 5/8 inches. There is no mark but this is a true copper lusterware pitcher. Although it is roughly textured in the body, it conveys elegance. 7. Nippon. Hand Paint-Height at tallest part is 3 inches and from outer spout to outer handle is 3 1/2 inches. Nippon Creamer and Sugar Set. For auction is an antique Nippon cream and sugar set. The pieces are decorated with pink flowers on white porcelain. Some of the hand painted flowers are raised. The sugar is lidded with gold trim around the edge of the lid as well as gold trim on the handles. The creamer has an open top with a thin gold band around the top and gold trim on the handle. The sugar is marked on the bottom“Hand Painted NIPPON” over the rising sun. The pieces are in good condition with no chips. Cracks or breaks. Antique NIPPON MORIAGE Cream and Sugar with MAPLE LEAF Mark
This is an absolutely GORGEOUS antique Nippon Moriage Creamer and Sugar. Made between 1882 and 1911. It features the Maple Leaf mark on the bottom of both pieces. The colors and the gilding in these pieces are so beautiful- the gold is still brightly colored and vibrant, and the hand painting is exquisite, featuring lilac colored flowers and greenery. When you consider the age of these items, it really attests to the extremely high quality and craftsmanship of the artisans who made them! This lovely cream and sugar came from an estate sale that we attended this past weekend. They belonged to a local Doctor, who was an avid and well known art and porcelain collector. Most of his items where actually purchased in the Country in which they where made! He had a very large and extensive collection, and we managed to purchase a few special pieces ... morethat I will be listing, including this beautiful Nippon Cream and Sugar. The only issues I've found with these beautiful pieces are a 1/4 inch chip on the back side of the creamer, with a hairline crack- the crack is visible only from the inside, and the chip is to the moriage, but not visible from the other side- feels like a very small flea bite or roughness when you run your finger around the rim. There is also some wear to the gilt on the handle of the creamer. The creamer stands about 4 inches in height and is about 4 inches in width at the top, not counting the handle. The sugar dish has no chips or cracks, and even the gold on the handles is in very good condition. The only issues I've found is some discoloration to the inside lip where the lid rests-these pieces sat in an empty Victorian era home for several years, and it almost seems like mildew-I've removed a lot of it myself by washing in hot soapy water, but if someone knew how, they could probably remove the rest. The sugar dish stands about 5 inches in height with the lid, and is about 5 inches in width, not counting the handles. Please look closely at all photo's, as this set is an antique, and s

This piece is marked"S&K Nippon" and my research has led me to conclude that this piece was made approximately in the 1920's. This piece features a light green background with gold floral accenting and geese in soft white and gray. The rim of the bowl and lid have an extensive gold design with what looks like inset jewels in red and green. They are most likely painted to resemble them.
