You are bidding on a RARE unique and unusual ANTIQUE triangular shaped sugar bowl from Haviland in Limoges. This is from 1876 to 1886. Original and not a reproduction. This sugar bowl features hand painted birds and flowers on all three sides. It is marked on the bottom of both the lid and the bowl itself. The large sugar bowl with the lid on is approximately 6-7/8" high& from the end of one handle to the end of the other is about 6-1/4" The creamer is about 5-1/4" high at the end of the spout and from the end of the spout to the top of the handle is about 5-1/4" across. The underside of the creamer has an 8 sided green hallmark with what looks like a B 3 M and the underside of the large sugar bowl also has an 8 sided green hallmark with what I think is a B N M. This set is not perfect but it makes a great appearance and it's ready to use! The thin gold accent lines are mostly worn off and I have tried to take many close-up images to show this. This beautiful.Antique sugar bowl was made by Schumann in Barvaria Germany, between 1918-1929, yet the blue under glaze stamp dates to the first half of the century as it has the early flat crown lion shield mark in lieu of the domed crowns seen in the later 1920's. It is in excellent condition for its age. No crazing, chips or cracks. It has normal wear on the bottom. the colors are still bright and vibrant. it is very ornate with blue flowers throughout the pattern, and of course the blue onion bulbs. The lid has a bulb shape handle with deep blue lines out lining it. The top of the bowl is a scalloped design. Mother duck caddy holds the duckling creamer and sugar bowl. Bottoms are marked with a circular logo and say HANDPAINTED NIPPON/ MADE IN JAPAN. Brightly colored items display beautifully. Though on close inspection a few condition issues are revealed, as shown in photos number 6 and 7: 1- small chip in the inside rim of the sugar bowl- cannot be seen when the apple-top cover is in place; 2- the creamer's handle has been glued back ... moreon; 3- minor rubbing to the bright coloration in a few small spots. Mother duck caddy measures about 7 inches wide. By about 4.75 inches high, by about 3.5 inches front-to-back. Sugar bowl is about 4.5 inches from handle to spout, by about 3 inches high. Vintage Handpainted Geisha Sugar Bowl W/ Lid, Unsigned
What an exquisite Geisha bowl with lid. No chips or cracks. Hand-painted and highlighted with gold gilding. This piece is unmarked. The one side shows a Geisha girl with her paddle fan and the other side shows the country side with a bird flying over. The bowl with lid measure's 3 3/4" from table to top of lid. Handle to handle it measure's 6" The only notable defect is some dirt that fired into the piece during manufacturing. It's a beauty and would look great displayed or would make a great gift! I do combine shipping when able.

This sugar bowl caught my eye at a local estate sale. Wished it was marked. Only with some numbers. 5149 and a golden 20. Irridescent colors, cobalt blue and pink and rich goldtrim. What did catch me eye, was the bird on each side. Very delicate handles and lid also. Just noticed one chip on top of right handle. With lid on 5 inch tall and also 5 inch from handle to handle.
