Sugar is 5 1/8 inches handle end to handle end and 3 7/8 inches in height to the top of the lid's finial. Creamer is 4 inches from handle to spout and 3 1/8 inches in height at handle. All in excellent Antique condition as shown. With no chips, cracks or other noted defects. Very Art Nouveauish. 8 lobes and 8 feet on both Marked accordingly as shown. This lovely piece is white porcelain with a touch of pale green at the base, pink at the rim and a gold stenciled floral motif on one side. This item measures 3.75" high at the spout, is 1.75" across the mouth and the base is 1 7/8th" wide. Condition is good, antique piece- there is a very tiny chip at the spout which is hard to see. Offered for bids from my personal collection is this exquisite art nouveau or art deco lidded sugar bowl and creamer with an understated design featuring violets and lots of gold trim. From Weimar. Germany. The sugar bowl is 5" wide handle-to-handle and stands 4¼" tall including the gold encrusted finial. There are large violets on either side and smaller violets behind the gold trimmed handles. The cream pitcher is 4" wide from edge of lip to edge of handle and stands 3" tall. It too has large violets on either side and smaller ones behind the handle. Antique Nippon art nouveau open sugar bowl and creamer, geometric with gold
The two pieces are in near perfect condition and carries a"Green Crown" mark. The creamer has a small chip in the bottom- about two pin heads big. Joan Van Patten's book"Van Pattern"s ABC's of Collecting Nippon" refers to this as the'Green Crown Mark#10' with'Hand Painted' in Red and'Nippon' in green below the crown. Circa 1891-1921.
