Oremont Lustre Art Deco Iridiscent Bavaria Germany Sugar Bowl and Creamer VTG
Up for auction is this STUNNING. ART DECO, 2 piece set of CREAMER and SUGAR Bowl made in BAVARIA, GERMANY by ORMONT which is stamped on the bottom of both pieces in green ink. This beautiful pair has an iridescent pearly rainbow of colors as the glaze overlaying the lovely hand painted flowers, trimmed in GOLD GILT around the top of the openings as well as the handles of both with just a hint of the gold gilt trailing away from the flowers! There is no lid for the sugar bowl, if there ever was one, it does not show anyhwere on the top of the sugar bowl from taking a lid on and off, from what my eyes can see, this set is in PRISTINE condition, no chips, cracks, nor crazing.they are FABULOUS! Creamer is 3-3/4" high. 3"at widest point and from lip to end of handle is 4-3/4" long. This auction is for a Sandland Lancaster copper luster set including a cream pitcher. Open sugar bowl, and a matching larger pitcher that I am calling a milk pitcher. The creamer and sugar are marked with the first backstamp shown in the photos. The milk pitcher has the mark in the second of the backstamp photos but, this photo is from another piece I have. The mark on the milk pitcher is the same as this one but is too faint to photograph. All three pieces have the number 712 on the bottom which I assume is the pattern number since all three match. The milk pitcher is 4" tall. The creamer and sugar are about 2-1/2" tall. All three pieces are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The lustre has a purple cast under a light. Sunderland Creamer Sunderland lustre ware is highly collectible. This creamer has a charming old house painted on it. It probably dates from the 1820-1830's and in spite of its age it is in fairly good shape. There is some wear on the rim and bottom. And some tiny scratches to the glaze. There is a crack on the lower part of the handle. It is an estate piece. The creamer is 3.75 inches(9.5 cm)high at the lip end and about 5.5 inches(14cm)long. Up for auction is a lovely antique copper lustre creamer from a local estate. Made in the Staffordshire district. England, in the 1800s. The use of a copper compound in the glaze resulted in a metallic, copperlike surface. Decorated with two cobalt blue bands with a floral design. This piece really shines! The inside has a finished glaze, so the creamer can be used. I love the fluted handle. Bottom is unmarked. Measures 4" tall. Offered for sale is this beautiful antique Bavarian ZS& Company creamer and sugar bowl with lid. This set has a lustre/ pearlized treatment to the pretty ivory coloring and gilt trimmed rim. Handles and knob of the sugar bowl. Condition is great. No chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no repairs. There exists a very minimal amount of rubbing to the gilt on the spout of the creamer. This is a Staffordshire transferware creamer or small pitcher with purple transfer and pink lustre accents on a creamy background with a pearlware glaze. There are blue. Red and green enamel details on the transfer. The'Independent Order of Odd Fellows' was(according to research) founded in Baltimore. Maryland in 1819. The organization's aim was to give aid to those in need. This creamer was most likely made soon after. One side has the words'Independent Order of Odd Fellows' with the organization's Coat of Arms. When the middle class began to emerge in the early to mid 19th century they wanted silver serving sets like the upper glass, but couldn't afford it. That's when these economical earthenware silver lustre pieces were crafted-their shiny silver was popular with the middle class. It's 5.5" long from spout to back of handle, 2.75" at it's widest and 3.5" at its tallest. This pitcher is in terrific condition-with no chips, cracks or breaks and only the slightest wear to the lustre-mainly on the bottom rim from surface contact. I purchased this at an estate auction. Beautiful example of antique pink lustre creamer and sugar bowl set. This set is hand decorated and marked with the number 200 on the base of each item. It bears no other maker's mark. The set is in surprisingly fine condition. The interior of the sugar bowl is browned but the exterior is clear and white. There are a couple of very small chips on the interior rim of the bowl from removing and replacing the lid over many years. The lid has no damage and the finial has no repairs. The creamer is a clear white and has one tiny 1/2" hairline crack on the rim that is barely visible. The sugar bowl measures 6" to the top of the finial and is 6" in diameter at its widest section. Many years ago a young lady was working as a hired girl at the Wagner mansion at the tip of Bluff Point. Town of Jerusalem in Yates County. Time and lack of written records makes her identity uncertain, but there is good reason to believe she was Anne Davis who eventually became the wife of Jared Cahoon. A large party was to be given at the mansion and this young lady was sent to a neighbor to borrow extra dishes for the occasion. The road was rough and slippery. And the young lady had the misfortune of slipping and falling while carrying the dishes, breaking many of them. When the middle class began to emerge in the early to mid 19th century they wanted silver serving sets like the upper glass. But couldn't afford it. That's when these economical earthenware pottery silver lustre pieces were crafted-their shiny silver was popular with the middle class. It's 5.25" long from spout to handle, 2.5" at its widest and 4" at its tallest. There's a chip on the side of the lip as in the photos and 2 small nicks on the side of the spout. There is some loss to the lustre wear in certain spots. I purchased this at an estate auction and was told it dates to approx. 1840s. Antique E.Walley Ironstone Creamer and Sugar with Green Scrolls of Copper Lustre
This is an ironstone sugar and creamer by E. Walley of England. They both have lovely scrolls of green with copper lustre and red flowers. The registration mark on the bottom of them indicate a date of 1856. The creamer is 5 1/2" high and 5 1/2" wide. The sugar is 4 1/4" high by 6 3/4" wide. The sugar does not have a lid and there are a couple of tiny chips on the inside lip. For their age. They are in wonderful condition, though and the copper lustre really shines under the light.

I encourage the purchase of additional insurance on valuable/fragile items. I pack very well. But occasional mishaps do occur. If you would like insurance, please EMAIL me prior to paying and I will add insurance costs to the invoice, price dependent upon final value of item won. The items I sell are all vintage and antique. Most have been used and therefore show varying amounts of wear. I do my best to describe the items to the best of my ability. Due to the nature of these items. I occasionally miss some flaws. Please look over my pictures carefully and do not hesitate to ask any questions.
