Lusterware Sugar Bowl& Creamer Old Roses Leuchtenburg. Germany O ffered for auction: A gorgeous luster porcelain sugar bowl and creamer marked Leuchtenburg(Germany. I believe ca. 1895 to 1935) It is finely decorated with a bouquet of"old roses" in pink, orange, and white, with an embossed rim and foot, highlighted with a green luster(lustre) finish. Both pieces have arched handles with open tops, and the sugar bowl has a lovely lid with an arched finial handle. These two pieces are in very good condition. There is very little wear to the decoration and design; the rose decal is very clear. And the luster is very solid. The only flaw I can find is a hairline on the inside top edge of the right handle on the sugar bowl(only at the top; it's not a break or repair) There are no other chips, cracks, crazing, or discoloration. ... moreThe creamer measures 3-5/8 inches high and about 3.5 inches wide at the base; the sugar bowl measures 5.75 inches wide across the handles, 3-3/8 inches high at the rim, and almost 5 inches high with the lid on. Antique Pink Luster Sugar Bowl Sunderland Pink Early 1800's Grape Design No Lid
This is a great piece of antique pink lusterware. It is a large footed sugar bowl and dates to the early 1800's. It no longer has it's lid. But makes a beautiful home for an African violet. The design is a grape vine. This sugar is in very nice condition for it's age and the material. There is an old but tight split in the rim where it shrank during firing. This speaks of the age of the piece and is not true damage. The bottom has a mark made by the painter, but there are no other maker's marks. It stands 4 1/2" high and is 4 1/2" wide by 7 1/8" long. 1800's Pink Luster Large Sugar Bowl + Lid Flower Pattern Staffordshire Tureen
I’m listing some very early. Ca. 1830-40, pink luster porcelain from Staffordshire, England. This listing is for a large covered sugar bowl(or some use it as a small tureen! with lid. This is decorated with a flower pattern. It measures 6 1/2" high with the lid and about 8" handle to handle. The main flaw is a tight crack(not loose) about 3 1/2" around the lower side- under the curved area. This casts some browning. see picture 8) The lid and the handles are not damaged(unusual for this age) As can be seen. There is fading of the pink and light browning outside with darker browning inside. The last pictures show some other pieces I am listing and a display from my shop. Vintage Creamer, Sugar, Tray Pottery Set Metallic Luster Glaze Hispano Moresque
This Hispano-Moresque creamer. Sugar bowl and tray set is a beautiful example of early 1900’s Lusterware. This set was created in Ohio. OHIO” within a diamond shaped border. Made in U.S.A. and“08” or“80” are stamped on the bottom of the tray. In addition part of the official“Hispano Moresque” sticker is still attached to the bottom of the tray as well. This set looks as though it has never been in service. But has been used for display purposes only. The bronze tone of this lusterware glaze shines with a beautiful iridescence. Lusterware is a type of pottery or porcelain with a metallic glaze that gives the effect of iridescence produced by metallic oxides in an overglaze finish. American Lusterware was produced primarily during the 1920’s- 1940’s. The tray is 9 3/4” long x 5” wide x 1/2” deep. ♦ GOLD Creamer& Sugar Bowl ♦ ♦ By'Puls' of Bavaria ♦ ◄Θ ═♦═ Φ ═♦═ Θ► DESCRIPTION: ☼ Classic bone china SET = Slight'crinkle' texture to the gold surface with 100% coverage in Gold- probably 22K but this point is not certain. ☼ We date this set from between about 1930- 1945- dates approximate. Could be in the first decade after the war. ☼ Classic design typical of Art Nouveau style. But the classic shape of both pieces make them compatible with almost any other style of china. ☼ There is no decoration or other interruption of the gold covering the entirety of both pieces + the sugar lid. ☼ Nice handles- obviously matching from one piece to the other. ☼ The WHITE interior of each piece is not'flat'rather it is done with a subtle"lusterware" like finish: vaguely pearlescent in a rainbow of colors- both unusual ... moreand classy. This includes all three pieces: sugar. Creamer, lid. ☼ Both have similar marks(only one photographed) PULS" logo(a crown) done with a green stamp. PLUS the initials: R. E. C. or"RE. C. done in gold by hand(probably the technician who made these pieces) ☼ The Creamer is about 6.25" from handle to spout. 2.75" tall. ☼ The Sugar Bowl is about 6.5" from handle to handle. 3.125" tall to the lid finial. ☼ There is no mark on the pot. Saucers or cups to identify the maker. CONDITION: 9.75 out of 10 = EXCELLENT OVERALL! Most fine bone china sets of this quality are never used- they just sit on display. This set has No chips. Scratches, stains, or flea bites- no problems of any kind. There is a no crazing in the finish. The'crackle' in the gold finish is uniform. Subtle, and very handsome. The auction house from which I acquired this described it as an“Early American Sugar Bowl. The painting on it is more naive than most British pink luster one sees. So maybe the description is true. Either way, it’s a lovely thing. Stands about 7 inches tall, 7 3/4 wide and 5 1/2 deep. Unmarked. CONDITION: Bowl has a fair amount of discoloration. As can be seen in the photos. A lesser amount of crazing. No cracks or repairs. There is a small chip on one of the handles that can be seen in Photos 6, 7, 8, and 9. That is the only chip. Still a very lovely piece of ceramics. OLD. But in wonderful condition… Tea Leaf. Morning Glory motif copper lustre ironstone Covered Sugar Bowl. This was part of a set of other Morning glory pieces that were impressed with the English potter. Elsmore Forster logo which date the pieces to c.1850-70. Provenance tag inside the teapot(sold earlier) states this sugar bowl was originally part of that collection. Though it is unmarked on the bottom one would think that it, because of the Morning Glory design, is Elsmore Forster as well. The piece is in excellent condition showing characteristic crazed, crackled surface. There is one very small chip/nick on underneath bottom; other than that there are no chips or cracks. The height is approx. 8/2" tall and 7 1/2" wide. Offered for your consideration is this beautiful antique Myott"Old Lustre Ware" copper luster vines. Leaves and trim on cream porcelain. The design is both simple and extravagant with the rims, footings and handle encrusted in the copper luster in addition to the vine and leaf design. The open sugar bowl is 3" in diameter at the rim, 1½" in diameter at the base and is a little over 2" tall. Here for sale we have an Antique Pink Sunderland Luster Staffordshire Sugar Bowl. This lovely piece has its original lid and is in great Antique condition. There are only a couple of tiny flea bite chips on the inner edge of the sugar bowl. Then there is a discoloration on the bottom and an age crack. But over all the sugar bowl appears to be in great condition for a piece from the 1840's that may have been used almost daily. The bowl measures aprox 7 5/8 across at the handles. The bowl stands 6 1/2" tall to the finial on top of the lid. The sugar bowl measures 5 1/2" across at the center from back to front. There is some age crazing on the bottom. Some discoloration, and a very, very old age crack. Please see pictures for a visual description. There is no mark that we can tell. Vintage Tatiko TT Luster Ware Diamond Shaped Ceramic Sugar & Creamer Set EX Cond
This auction is for a vintage luster ware sugar and creamer set made by TT Tatiko in Japan. I do not know what the pattern or design are called. They're both diamond shaped. And have interior corners that are near impossible to clean! The handles have gold paint, and the dog handle on the sugar bowl lid is as well. Along the sides are flowers, and the top edges are metallic green. The only flaw I can find are two very tiny scratches on the top lip of the sugar bowl. The sugar bowl with the lid on stands roughly 3 3/4 inches tall, is 5 1/2 inches long, and 3 5/8 inches wide. The creamer measures 3 inches tall, 4 7/8 inches long and 3 1/4 inches wide. Antique Footed Luster Porcelain Cream & Sugar With Lid Roses Open Lace Handles
Exquisite Antique 3 piece porcelain Cream and Sugar set with lid. Maker unknown but it looks European. A beautiful orange and mauve luster footed base set accented with roses. The handles have an open lacy design. The oval lid raises on each end. Nicely trimmed in gold tone. Absolutely perfect. I doubt it was ever used. The sugar with lid about 5 inches in height. Handle to handle 5 inches and about 3 3/4" inches in width. The creamer is 3 3/4 inches to the top of the spout and 5 1/2 inches from spout tip to handle tip. 3 1/2" wide. A truly spectacular set.
