Vintage Favorite Bavaria Artist Signed Creamer and Sugar Bowl An artist signed creamer and sugar bowl set. These are marked Favorite Bavaria on the bottom and are signed by the artist Emma Gerhard and are dated 1910. Both are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and very little wear from use. The creamer measures about 5" from handle to spout and is about 4" tall. The sugar bowl measures about 5 1/2" from handle to handle and is also about 4" tall. SPECIFICATIONS: Maker/Item/Pattern# Uno Favorite(Burley Tyrrell Co Imported Under This In Early 1900's) Bavaria Information: This is a handpainted interesting matching pair of creamer and sugar bowl with lid in white with brilliant gold and black accents/gilding. They are an art deco unique look to me. The bright gold accents to include what I believe is a monogram initials on one side of each piece sets them apart. I am not certain of the monogram but will guess at SR? No cracks or chips. Creamer has what be described as signs of age in the spout in the thick banded gilding of gold as very minor loss or fade. Very slight just trying to find something to mention on this piece but overall in very nice condition. Based on green mark I dated these from 1910-1930's. Favorite Bavaria Gold/White Porcelain Sugar/Creamer Retro 1900's Gold Floral Design You are bidding on an antique sugar and creamer set made by Favorite Bavaria Company. This set has a unique design more retro or oriental look that was so popular back in the day. Probably made in the early 1900's. In a very brilliant white porcelain. Trimmed in heavy gold and accented with a cluster of flowers in gold on both sides. The gold trim is in excellent condition. The only flaw I see is on the inside of the creamer is an indentation where the handle is attached. This is probably a maker's flaw. The creamer measures 5 3/8" across x 4 1/4" tall. The sugar bowl measures 5 3/8" across x 4 1/4" tall. These would go wonderful on any elegant table or with any classic setting. Lovely well done violets and leaves on a shaded background. Painted by a talented artist. There are some rubbed spots on the gold handles and knob but I can see no other issues. There is a Roman Numeral VII(7) on the bottom of the creamer. Probably the year the blank was made. Hard to imagine that these are 101 years old. They have a hexagon base and a daisy montage. These pieces are stamped with a label that was used in the early 1900's. There are no chips or cracks; however.
