Antique Bavarian Creamer & Sugar Forget-me-not Pickard Artist Luken
Classic Bavarian creamer and sugar bowl are hand painted with true blue forget-me-not flowers with raised enamel adding a wonderful dimension. The background is blue and white with a blush of pink divided by gold scrolling and the handles and rim are richly gilded. The inside is a pearl luster. The are signed by the artist Luken. Minnie Luken had a Chicago decorating studio from 1893-1926 and worked for Pickard for about a year in 1912. The sugar bowl is about 5" x 3.5" x 3" high and the creamer is just under 5" x 3.5" x 3" high. They are in very good condition with no chips or cracks and just some slight gold loss on the sugar bowl.

This beautiful set features a design of pink roses. Gold trellis, and trailing foliage. Fully marked on the bottom. The creamer measures 2 7/8" tall. The covered Sugar measures 4" with lid tall. Antique Bavarian Creamer And Lidded Sugar Bowl, Hand Painted
This is an antique Bavarian sugar bowl and creamer with a white background. The upper half of both have a yellow/gold paint with a floral bouquet of assorted wild flowers. The top of both have a black trim with a black line separating the white bottom half and the yellow/gold top. The creamer also has a black trim on the handle and around top to the pourer. The sugar bowl lid is also hand painted with yellow/gold with black trim and white around the rest of the lid to the handle. There is 1 flaw: sugar bowl handle. Front left side, appears to have been cracked and then repaired. The crack can be seen but not felt. The rest if the sugar bowl and creamer do not have any other flaws. please see picture of handle* Very pretty set for its age.

This is a beautiful delicately hand painted late 1800's Bavarian china creamer. Measuring 4 2/4" wide, 2 1/4"tall. It has a 4" wide base to it, with normal wear expected of 125+years old. Passed down from my great grandmother as an estate item. It has a very soft faded yellow background with a soft patina, pink flowers and green leaves. Please refer to pictures as part of my description and for more details! Anyone who would have known about this piece is gone. I hesitate to part with it. But am liquidating my fine porcelain china items as I am running out of display space for them. It has some damage to the handle. And I do not know how it occured. Perhaps a burn from a candle? UNUSUAL DESIGN Antique SUGAR AND CREAMER SET Bavarian China Hand Painted
Lovely and Extremely Unusual Design Antique SUGAR AND CREAMER SET Incredibly Beautiful Elegant Shapes Which I Would Say Are About Circa 1910. Both pieces have indented'grip' areas on bottom of pieces at front and back. Painted with rust colored and yellow roses with green foliage on front. Back sides of pieces have an imprinted rust colored floral sprig. Color is graduated from a peachy tan color at top to a buttercream sandy color at the base of each Hand painted gold detailing trim which has mainly worn away from age. Most visible down creamer handle Deep Ridged/Ruffled dimensional shape to both pieces at edges Sugar bowl has a scrolled'foot' in center of base- so different! Sugar bowl does not lave a lid and was not meant to have one. The very pointed wing-like edges serve it well for visual interest! One hand painted'51' ... moreand the other w'76' Sugar embossed with 2 unreadable letters Hand Painted China. Glazed Inside With Smooth Glaze And Outside With Matte Glaze I sell a LOT of vintage china and these are definitely Bavarian. Possibly earlier than 1910 and around turn of the century or earlier although not marked with a maker. Creamer Size Approx. 4.75"Tall x 4"Handle to spout. Sugar bowl 4"Tall at highest points at ends and 4.75"Long Very Good Condition No chips. Nicks, cracks, scratches, or repairs to either piece. Some gentle faint crazing to glaze which is normal for age, and the sugar bowl has some VERY light tan staining to glaze inside at bottom from age- see last pic. Creamer is pristine inside, no staining and no crazing. Gold trim is worn. These are STUNNERS- such a very unusual and elegant shape to both pieces. great for a collector and would look beautiful in use or on display. They just do NOT make pieces like this anymore and these are very charming. As always. My items are packed with EXTRA bubble wrap and extreme care to insure a safe arrival.
