Antique Arched Cast Iron Fireplace Cover & Screen Gothic Steampunk Industrial
A cool cast iron fireplace cover with the original arched screen to go over it and protect your floors and kids. Perfect for those fireplaces on the East coast with those long narrow houses and lots of fireplaces. In really nice condition with some normal wear and tear to the paint. Easy fix. Nothing broken that I can see and all in tact. It measures 31 1/4" tall on the cast iron cover and it is 27 3/4" wide, at the top of the arch is 27 3/4" and the inside measure 19 3/4" it sticks out from the wall about 10" You can figure the screen out from there to a pretty close measurement. Vermont Fire Lighter
The Vermont Fire Lighter is used in place of newspaper and kindling to start fireplace or woodstove fires. Or to light charcoal fires. We purchased the item a few years ago in the hopes to get a wood burning fireplace. But we never did. So this is your chance to light your fireplace in style! The item is new and has absolutely no marks of wear or scratches. It is handmade by the famous Warren Village Pottery in the Mad River Valley right here in Vermont. INSTRUCTIONS: Fill the fuel pot with enough kerosene or lamp oil to completely cover igniter stone. Immerse lighter stone in pot and replace the lid. Allow stone to soak for an hour. Remove the soaked stone and roll it lightly in the fireplace ashes to make it easier to ignite. Light the stone and place under wood in fireplace or stove. Stone will burn 10 to 15 minutes. Allow stone to burn ... moreout and remove with tongs or gloves. Stone should cool completely on the hearth before carefully replacing in fuel pot. Monumental Tiger Quartersawn Oak Mantel, Refinished with Original Mirror
Monumental tiger oak/ quartersawn mantel. The orignal beveled glass mirror is included but not pictured. This has been stripped and refinished which is a real plus when dealing with these old mantels because that process is usually more expensive than the purchase price of one that is in need of it. Everything about this mantel is substantial; oversize base. Round columns, beefy shelf, and intricate details. Photos seven and eight were taken inside to give you an idea of the finish color. The other photos were taken outside. The condition of the base wood is great. There are no corners that are tore up or smashed, which tends to be typical when these are removed from houses, moved around and stored. With careful examination you will be able to find a few nicks and dents that have been finshed over. The most notable issues are the upper left ... morescroll decoration having a peice broken off and missing and some chips to the leaf corbels under the shelf. Photo nine shows the very top which would be well over head height. The back boards extend and there is obviously no shelf cap. Our suggestion would be to cut the excess off of the uprights and install a flat top shelf. This would not be able to be seen unless you are on a ladder. Dimensions are more or less accurate but if you have a critical requirement you should ask to have it rechecked: 62" overall width. Height 86" from bottom to top corner of shelf frame, 94" tall if you measure the uprights to the end. ~12" projection from wall, 10" projection from fire box, center shelf is 43" wide x 10" deep, mirror is 40" x 17" top shelf frame is 58"x 11" fire box opening ~41.5" x 44.5" tall, ~6" diameter round columns, ~7" square legs This will we listed as local pickup only. This old 1800's grate was my grandmothers. Who was born in the 1800's and married in 1901. She used this to burn both wood and coal to heat her home. It measures 24"wide X 11" deep X 12 1/2" high. It is in very good condition for a used antique item of this age. It has No broken or missing pieces. I have not found the first bit of damage to it anywhere. It does have some surface rust, especially in the back. The front has little squares across both the top and bottom rim of the box with an ornate floral design down both sides in the front. It has been painted with a light green(sort of sage color) oil based enamel that has partially worn off. It is marked on both sides L for Left and R for Right and the number 24 is on the inside front panel.On the bottom it is marked 24P. Cast Iron Fireplace Insert Fleur De Lis Coal Box Grate Basket or Log Holder
Here is a Antique Cast Iron fireplace insert in very good condition for its age. I just purchased this from an estate sale and the owner said its been in the house since he can remember and he was about 50 years old. The piece has numbers on it in the back 1505-18-20 the swivel grate is numbered No.2 230. I can find no other markings. The grate measures 20 inches wide. 18 inches high and 12 inches front to back. The condition is very good no damage I could find just some surface corrosion from use and age. The grate looks like it could come apart with a turn of a heavy screw driver but that looks like it could be an issue from age I don't think they will turn without major cleaning and oiling. I will be shipping this in one piece and wrap the swivel grate separately. GOOD LUCK!

White Marble Fireplace Mantle, Surround, Metal Insert and Screen
You can see from the picture that this mantle is not installed. My contractor called me from a sale. Told me about the mantle, sent a picture, said it would fit and asked me whether I wanted to buy it for my living room. I agreed and was prepared to do the work to restore it. It turns out that it didn't fit once I got it home. AHHHHH! I would really like to re-coup my investment so please buy it if you can use it or want to fix it up and re-sell it. The mantle is a soft white with gray veins. The surround has less color. The screen is a brass color. I don't know whether it is solid brass but judging from it's age my guess is that it is. The screen itself has some rust on it. It will be a beautiful addition to any fireplace when it is restored and you will have gotten a bargain. This copy is the 1992 edition(ISBN# 2701303354) and is in excellent condition with it's dust jacket protected with a clear acetate cover. Antique Oak Fireplace Mantel Painted Art Deco Design - with mirror - HEAVY
This is a wonderful old fireplace mantel. Oak wood. Very heavy piece, but painted to look art deco. The mirror has some marks but overall pretty good for the age. One piece must be reattached at the base(last photo) Nothing on the mantel is included. The electric fireplace and screen could be included at an extra cost. I have the ball andirons listed on ebay at the present time. This mantel can be attached to the wall to secure it and is an awesome old piece. Local pick-up only. Up for bid is a beautiful Victorian era Pine Over-Mantel or Back Bar. This thing is beautiful and can be mounted upside down or right side up. Wold is in extremely nice condition with a slight Alligator finish. But this adds to it's appearance. This over-mantel is 60" Long x 40" Tall x 9.25 Deep. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN MIRRORED FIREPLACE SCREEN-ORIGINAL-EX COND-HAND PAINTED FLORAL

I do not charge a handling fee and there are no hidden costs. NOTE: The lines that show in the mirror are camera flash glare. They are not damage. Now here is a rare find, a victorian beveled mirror fireplace screen in great condition. Usually all of the silvering has worn off the mirror, but this one is in excellent condition. There are a few small areas where the silvering has worn, but it is barely visible from the front. There is a date stamped on the back of the mirror, but I can't make out the year. This has definately been used by a fireplace, ... moreas there are traces of soot on the orange of the mirror back. The frame is brass and is also in great condition. The only problem that I can see is one of the legs is a bit bent, this does not affect the stability or beauty of this great piece. The front has hand painted flowers, the edges of the flowers have disappeared a bit from cleaning over time. This is in the condition that I purchased it. It stands 28" tall and is 16 1/2" wide. This small English Regency Stand looks like a small accent piece. Actually, ... moreit is not a stand, but a very fancy English Coal Hoag. Instead of opening the door, you pull down, revealing a metal-lined compartment. Including the original casters, this coal hoag measures 38 ¾ inches tall. The measurement across the front is 14 ½ inches by 13 ¾ inches deep. As you look at all of the photographs, you’ll see that the two columns, the railing around the top, and all of the hardware is original and gold gilded. All of the finely inlaid figured mahogany is perfect. There is an adjustment made to the left top of the drawer front. This was done in order for the drawer to close properly. We also found one other small, tight repair at the back top edge of the cabinet. The rest of this antique English Regency Coal Hoag is in perfect condition. This is a beautiful antique cast iron five piece fire place surround frame and summer cover. It is in very good condition with no breaks.Chips or cracks. There are holes for bolting it to the fireplace and it is all complete. It has gold leaf paint on the ornate details. The Outside frame measures 43" by 42" the summer cover insert frame measures 32" wide by 33 1/2" high and the summer cover opening measures 28" high and 21" wide.
