Just have a plumber hook it up for you and you're ready to enjoy the ambiance and look of a bygone era. I have several in my house that are hooked up and working and they are simply amazing. I don't use them for actual heating. But do turn them on when I'm in one of the rooms for the wonderful ambiance and extra heating they provide. If you have a fireplace with a gas hookup and it's just sitting there empty, consider one of these heaters to add additional warmth and a whole lot of charm to your room. The ceramic backplate is in perfect condition with no cracks. This heater measures 20 1/2 inches tall. 28 inches wide and 8 1/2 inches deep to the end of the finials on either side. It weighs about 45 lbs. Again, I do not have the ceramics, but I purchased some for my own heaters here on ebay. I've cleaned and painted this one to make it look nice. Beautiful antique Humphrey Radiant Fire gas heater. This phenomenal piece came out of one of the largest and most beautiful old Victorian homes in this area. I love the lines and the detail on this heater- wonderful old brass finials. Take a look at the pictures and use the zoom feature to truly appreciate what you are seeing. I cleaned this up a little bit. But you will want to give it a good detail cleaning to bring out all of its original beauty. My understanding is that is was working when it was disconnected. Gas cast iron logs insert flanked by caryatids and acanthus leaf panels. Incurved pierced foliate and scroll corners with griffin sides(ends) which are surmounted by square tapered columns with ionic capitals. Central double griffin motif in relief on bronze face plate. Oak mantel. Serpentine crest with face ends. Central relief face and cartouche in middle of crest rail. Copper rope twist fender on a cast iron front base. Mint condition. Measuring: 60" high x 661/2" long x 18" deep. This magnificent fireplace was removed form a Victorian style home nearly 43 years ago and has been in our family ever since. ANTIQUE 1895 VICTORIAN FRENCH GILT IRON COPPER GAS FIREPLACE CORNUCOPIA CHERUBS
We are pleased to offer this spectacular antique fireplace with insert. This is a very ornamental unit with every visible surface adorned with incredible details. The unit is an early gas burning fireplace and is almost completely intact. The front profile(face) is extraordinary with French elements in the details. The unit is arched(rounded) The surround has a geometric design infused with acanthus leaves and scrolls of vines and lotus blooms. There are two. Flower filled cornucopias, flanking a center shell medallion, on the top center of the surround. Each side of the surround features a large cornucopia. These are filled with flowers and each features a seated cherub. The curved fireplace hood has a very interesting and detailed, incised fan pattern which, from a distance, looks somewhat like scales. This pattern is also present in the ... morebackground behind the cherubs. The hood is prominent and gives the fireplace a beautiful side profile. Under the hood is a decorative, horizontal piece with a French styled ribbon and swag detail. It is finished with an acanthus border. The interior face of the unit is copper sheeting. This is a stunning fireplace and it is almost completely intact. The only missing piece is the on/off valve which is located on the bottom of the unit. The fireplace is in amazing condition for its age. The back does have a rusted covering but the face is quite nice and virtually rust free. There is beautiful. Aged patina to the iron, but there are also areas that retain the more brilliant, gilded finish. The back still has the damper flap which opens and closes freely. The damper is stamped with the manufacturer's name and it is dated. The fireplace was manufactured by Dawson Brothers of Chicago. The fireplace is dated 1895. The Dawson brothers emigrated to the US in the mid 1800s from England. They produced fine quality pieces. They operated in Chicago until the 1920s. This Lawson is model# 210. Its pretty old and has not been tested since I acquired it. It's rusty but still solid. It has the original 5 ceramic inserts but 2 are broken. The on/off lever does move still. All original bolts appear to be there but are a little loose. This unit can be easily restored or can easily be appreciated for its character if kept as is. Its exactly 20 1/2 in. tall. 22 1/2 in. wide, and 10 in. deep.

Steampunk: The gas line could be used for the electrical line coming into the device and two brass balls could be removed and pipes could be connected to those square tubes to form the base for a double-sided steampunk lamp. The weight of the entire device would be sufficient to hold a nice size light fixture. Height about 24 inches. Width about 22 inches. Depth about 12 inches. The cast? iron/ steel appears to be in good shape. One of the finials on the left side- the brass ball- is cracked. The old ceramic inserts in the fireplace are not perfect. One is cracked in two and one does not appear to be the same as the others. We do not know if the inserts are original. But that should not detract from the beauty of this very old and interesting piece. Inserts are easily replaced. The connections seem to be there; the handle for turning the ... moregas up/ down seems to be there as well. It is being sold in as is condition; we believe it can be resurrected. Rare Ray-Glo Antique gas fireplace insert.
I don't have much information on this heater. Other than what I can see. Ray-Glo made heaters and inserts as early as the 1920's, but I don't know when they stopped. I guess this one was made before 1940, but really don't know. This insert appears to be well used but in good condition. I have not hooked it up, but I think it works. The pictures are an accurate representation. It has some surface wear and scratches and the back and is a bit rusty. The overall width is 23" and overall height is 19" and approximately 10" deep.

Pair Neo Classical Fire Dogs Andirons for Gas Fireplace Bronze Decoration Accent
We used these in our last home. We wanted the classic fireplace look of Andirons or Fire Dogs but waned them to sit in view in front of the glass screen. These worked great and looked very nice place on either side of the fireplace. They are 14 1/4 inches tall and are in a classic Greek Urn style. They are a cast metal with a bronze finish. I dont know what metal they are made from. Acorn tops.

Beautiful early 1900's cast iron gas heater great condition but has one broken ceramic mantle. The stove is 17" wide x 19.5" tall x 7" deep. Extensions add 5.5" to each side and 3" to the depth. Pyromaster gas fireplace w/mantle and base
I got this stove from a recent homeowner in trade for work. It worked great before pulled out and runs off natural gas.I recently repainted it and cleaned the stones.The mantle has been repainted. The base of the mantle is brand new due that the old one had some moisture damage on the bottom. The front log broke at one time so I repaired it and cannot tell anymore.
