Vintage Antique LOVELL Metal Hand Clothes Washer Wringer ~ Works! ~ NICE!
You are bidding on a vintage"Lovell" hand crank clothes wringer which is working condition. It is painted white metal with some chipping and surface scratches. This has intact rollers with adjustable tension control and metal clamps for tub. The clamps swivel adjusting from about 12 to 16 inches. The body(not including handles) measures approximately 12 1/4" x 6" rollers measure approximately 11 inches in length. As can be viewed in the third photo. This is a unique ceramic wringer washer. It is over 11" high by 7" wide. It has two turn handles but they are not meant to move. There are no markings or numbering on the bottom so I do not know who manufactured it. I'm wondering if this was meant to be used as a planter- maybe an ivy plant? Since it is ceramic. It should not be used as a toy. My mom had the real old-fashion wringer washer and I remember how long it took to do the wash for four children! This will definitely be a conversation piece in your house.

Here is a antique clothes washing machine. Great as a large/centerpiece for vintage decoration. Very rare item. The tub is a very pretty green enamel/porcelain 23 inch diameter and 14 inches deep. Tub is lightly marked in the outside"Prima" see photo#12) Tub has one scrape of the enamel on the outside. Inside of tub is stained or else dirty. Overall machine is about 48 inches tall and 27 inches wide. The wringer rotates 360 degrees and has several lock and hold positions. The legs are good and sound. The rollers/castors on bottom of legs are froze up. I did not test it for operation. There is no electric motor on it which would mount near the floor. There is still an old belt on the drive pulley but this belt is worn out. It has aging and wear. See photos for condition. Local Pickup only. No shipping. It is approz. 5" wide and 11" tall. This weighs 13 pounds. Nice solid piece! This shows some wear however its not too bad considering its age and that it has been used. There is some wood damage on one of the corners on the top. The crank moves the wringers and it appears to function fine. This is a nice solid oak piece of American history. It was made to last. This is a nice 23.5" x 12.5" antique wooden wasboard with glass ribs. There is something inscribed near the top. But I cannot make out what it says. The piece was painted orange long ago.The washboard has very noticeable wear from handling and use. Some of the wood is beginning to crack; there is a long, deep crack on one of the legs. While the piece is structurally sound, the deep crack should be repaired so that it doesn't break in the future. The piece also has discoloration, marks, etc. Whoever did the painting did a terrible job and also painted the sides of the glass ribs. They didn't paint the very top of the wood, though. Maytag Wringer Washer& Gas engine decal in water transfer. Painted with automotive enamel paint. Up for bid is a very nice Maytag Model 72Antique hit miss Gas Engine. The flywheel has serial# 1014248 stamped on it so it was made in 1946. This engine has a new coil and works good. The skids you see under my motors go with the engine. I have shipped to Canada and the United Kingdom. I have been restoring these engines for ten years now. Last year I restored and sold 23 Maytag engines on and off ebay. I had taken several pictures of my work so you can ... moresee what wonderful work I do and I am not a fly by night back yard restorer. I also restore Maytag wringer washers and put Maytag motor's on them as well. This engine was completely taken apart and SAND blasted and BEAD blasted clean and painted. I take a lot of pride in these motors as you can see. Lot of guys like to copy my work so I have a trade mark that I can only tell that it is one that I had done. I do not use any junk parts on my motors. As you can see this engine is complete and not missing any parts. It has new rings. Condenser and spark plug and plug wire with new ends. I also honed out the Cylinder jug. This engine has been restored and freshly painted and the fuel tank and top plate was sealed so it will not rust again. I do not paint the flywheels like some people I just polish them up nice. After putting it all back together I ran several tanks of fuel through it and it runs just fine. Then I put on a set of real nice WATER TRANSFER DECAL that I make and sell NOT those NASTY sticky fly by night cheap decals. The coil is good and has hot nice spark. Up for bid is an Antique Maytag Wringer Washer set of rollers. Complete with the safety release. Engaging lever and the original stamped Maytag rollers. Overall 21-1/2 inches wide 12 inches high and 7 inches thick. Rollers are 11-3/4 inches long and 2-1/2 inches thick. Rollers are in good condition-not all chewed up or falling apart. The post is 1-1/4 inch diameter. I don't have any idea what years or models this goes to. The only identifying marks I found were"K1251" and a"4" under that.
