Vintage Antique LOVELL Metal Hand Clothes Washer Wringer ~ Works! ~ NICE!
You are bidding on a vintage"Lovell" hand crank clothes wringer which is working condition. It is painted white metal with some chipping and surface scratches. This has intact rollers with adjustable tension control and metal clamps for tub. The clamps swivel adjusting from about 12 to 16 inches. The body(not including handles) measures approximately 12 1/4" x 6" rollers measure approximately 11 inches in length. As can be viewed in the third photo. Here is a antique clothes washing machine. Great as a large/centerpiece for vintage decoration. Very rare item. The tub is a very pretty green enamel/porcelain 23 inch diameter and 14 inches deep. Tub is lightly marked in the outside"Prima" see photo#12) Tub has one scrape of the enamel on the outside. Inside of tub is stained or else dirty. Overall machine is about 48 inches tall and 27 inches wide. The wringer rotates 360 degrees and has several lock and hold positions. The legs are good and sound. The rollers/castors on bottom of legs are froze up. I did not test it for operation. There is no electric motor on it which would mount near the floor. There is still an old belt on the drive pulley but this belt is worn out. It has aging and wear. See photos for condition. Local Pickup only. No shipping. Crank Antique Oak Washer Wringer Made out of oak. I do not see a manufactured name on it. This measures 29" long( with the crank) and 20" long if i don't not include the crank. It is approz. 5" wide and 11" tall. This weighs 13 pounds. Nice solid piece! This shows some wear however its not too bad considering its age and that it has been used. There is some wood damage on one of the corners on the top. The crank moves the wringers and it appears to function fine. This is a nice solid oak piece of American history. It was made to last. Everything feels tight and there are no loose screws or structural damage. Please look at all the pictures and enlarge them. I have taken pictutres of the damage. This is a nice 23.5" x 12.5" antique wooden wasboard with glass ribs. There is something inscribed near the top. But I cannot make out what it says. The piece was painted orange long ago.The washboard has very noticeable wear from handling and use. Some of the wood is beginning to crack; there is a long, deep crack on one of the legs. While the piece is structurally sound, the deep crack should be repaired so that it doesn't break in the future. The piece also has discoloration, marks, etc. Whoever did the painting did a terrible job and also painted the sides of the glass ribs. They didn't paint the very top of the wood, though. Overall 21-1/2 inches wide 12 inches high and 7 inches thick. Rollers are 11-3/4 inches long and 2-1/2 inches thick. Rollers are in good condition-not all chewed up or falling apart. With over 5 years of making decals and 10 years in restoring Maytag wringer washers and Maytag engines. Now I have the largest selection of stock in Maytag decals. Up for bid is a very nice Restored Maytag Model 92 side exhaust Antique hit miss Gas Engine. The flywheel has serial# 242343 stamped on it so it was in production Oct– 1 TO Dec– 23 1927. ANTIQUE 1929 MAYTAG RESTORED LONG FRAME GAS ENGINE HIT AND MISS WRINGER WASHER
Up for sale is a very nice Maytag Model 92 long frame Antique hit miss Gas Engine. The flywheel has serial# 409483 stamped on it which was in production in October 1- December 30. 1929. I have been restoring these engines for over 10 years now and I sell a lot of them. I also used to restore Maytag ringer washers and put Maytag motor's on them as well. This engine was completely taken apart and sand blasted and bead blasted clean and painted with DuPont Maytag original color code. I take a lot of pride in these motors and I like to do a little extra detailing like the lettering and some of the numbers as you can see in the pictures, I think it makes the motor's stand out better. As you can see this engine is complete and not missing any parts such as the pulley or air cleaner or kill switch. It has new rings, condenser, spark plug ... morewire with new ends, new spark plug, caution plate and kill switch. I also honed out the Cylinder jug. Magnet ring was recharged as well and throws a real nice hot spark. This engine has been restored and freshly painted and the tank and top plate was sealed so it will not rust again. I do not paint the flywheels like some people. After putting it all back together I ran 1 tank of fuel through it and it runs just fine. Detailing with the correct decals finished it. The frame does have a very small chunk pissing that you can see in the picture. I cannot put a warranty on these motors do to the age of them BUT I will guarantee it will run great for you when you get it and keep running well. I have sold a lot of motors and washers and never had a complaint yet. My friend deals in Maytag motor parts and he took the carburetor apart cleaned and rebuilt it and also rebuilt the ignition plate putting a new condenser on. He also takes pride with his work. All it needs now is fuel and you can start it with your hand, it is that easy to start. The buyer agrees to pay an extra $35.00 packing fee. I use foam spray to pack the motor and it takes a lot when I am done it will float in the ocean

It still has vivid original graphics on it which tell the story of how old this amazing piece really is. Made by the Lovell Manufacturing Co. of Erie PA. the patent date on this Model No. 771 is June 20, 1899. You might think it is unbelievable, but my 11 year old son was testing it out just 10 minutes ago and successfully rolled his T-shirt through it. This is a 5 Roller Wringer. 1 large primary(upper) roller that is crimped or grooved and 4 small bottom rollers. 2 of them are smooth and two of them are crimped or grooved. Manitoba, Canada: Marshall-Wells Company, the third-largest hardware merchant in the United States was one of many foreign wholesalers attracted to Winnipeg’s tremendous market opportunities created by large-scale prairie settlement prior to World War I. The Duluth. Minnesota company expanded their operations with a Winnipeg representative in 1894. In 1900, the company built a new warehouse at 123 Bannatyne Avenue, adjacent to a Winnipeg Transfer Railway spur line. A sales staff of three was sent into the field to sell hardware, exotic foodstuffs and chemicals. As trade grew. A second, $30,000 four-storey warehouse in 1905 was ... moreerected on Market Avenue just to the north of its Bannatyne building. The contractors were William Grace and Company. ANTIQUE 1934 MAYTAG RESTORED 92 GAS ENGINE HIT MISS WRINGER WASHER STATIONARY
Up for bid is a very nice Maytag Model 92 11- 111 Antique hit miss Gas Engine. The flywheel has serial# 557534 stamped on it which was in production in May. 1934. I have been restoring these engines for over 10 years now and I sell a lot of them. I also used to restore Maytag ringer washers and put Maytag motor's on them as well. This engine was completely taken apart and sand blasted and bead blasted clean and painted with DuPont Maytag original color code. I take a lot of pride in these motors and I like to do a little extra detailing like the lettering and some of the numbers as you can see in the pictures, I think it makes the motor's stand out better. The flywheel has very little pitting as you can see in the picture but will not affect the performance of the engine. Lots of people like to take the same pictures as I do and try ... moreto confuse the buyer. I don't like the way they do things but I have no control of that. But I put my own trade mark on my engines then I know it is on that I restored proper. You can see this engine is complete and not missing any parts such as the pulley or air cleaner or kill switch. It has new rings, condenser, spark plug wire with new ends, new spark plug, caution plate and kill switch. I also honed out the Cylinder jug. Magnet ring was recharged as well and throws a real nice hot spark. This engine has been restored and freshly painted and the tank and top plate was sealed so it will not rust again. I do not paint the flywheels like some people. After putting it all back together I ran 1 tank of fuel through it and it runs just fine. Detailing with the correct decals finished it. I cannot put a warranty on these motors do to the age of them BUT I will guarantee it will run great for you when you get it and keep running well. I have sold a lot of motors and washers and never had a complaint yet. All it needs now is fuel and you can start it with your hand, it is that easy to start. Old Anchor Brand wooden double tub bench Wringer Washer by Lovell Mfg. of Erie, PA, circa late 1800's, that's still in fine working condition, though the bearings should be oiled before using. This old wringer washer also earned the"Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval" when it came out. Much of the writing that was originally on it has faded away over the years, but much of it's still there if one looks closely. Photo#8 shows some of the writing. It measures approximately 48" high by 11" when folded up and 29" wide, including the handle. When opened for use it measures approximately 48" wide. ANTIQUE 1928 MAYTAG RESTORED SIDE EXHAUST GAS ENGINE HIT AND MISS WRINGER WASHER
If you want me to put it up as buy it now to get it fast just e-mail me and ask. Up for bid is a very nice Maytag Model 92. Side exhaust Antique hit miss Gas Engine. The flywheel has serial# 249518 stamped on it which was in production in Jan 1 to Mar 30 1928. I have been restoring these engines for over 10 years now and I sell a lot of them. I also used to restore Maytag ringer washers and put Maytag motor's on them as well. This engine was completely taken apart and sand blasted and bead blasted clean and painted with DuPont Maytag original color paint code. I take a lot of pride in these motors and I like to do a little extra detailing like the lettering and some of the numbers as you can see in the pictures, I think it makes the motor's stand out better. Lots of people like to take the same pictures as I do and try to confuse ... morethe buyer. I don't like the way they do things but I have no control of that. But I put my own trade mark on my engines then I know it is on that I restored proper. You can see this engine is complete and not missing any parts such as the pulley or kill switch. It has new rings, condenser, spark plug wire with new ends, new spark plug, caution plate and kill switch. I also honed out the Cylinder jug. Magnet ring was recharged as well and throws a real nice hot spark. This engine has been restored and freshly painted and the tank and top plate was sealed so it will not rust again. I do not paint the flywheels like some people. After putting it all back together I ran 1 tank of fuel through it and it runs just fine. Detailing with the correct decals finished it. I cannot put a warranty on these motors do to the age of them BUT I will guarantee it will run great for you when you get it and keep running well. I have sold a lot of motors and washers and never had a complaint yet. My friend deals in Maytag motor parts and he took the carburetor apart cleaned and rebuilt it and also rebuilt the ignition plate putting a new condenser on. He also takes pride with his work. For sale today is an extremely RARE and very Hard-to-Find Antique Anchor aged Wooden Wringer Model No.7 9 1 Clothes Washer. It was made by the Lovell Manufacturing Co. in Erie. PA. It came with Steel Ball Bearings and was so well built that it was advertised as the“Best On Earth” With a Five(5) year warranty. It even received the Good Housekeeping Seal! The Patent is May 5 th. 1986, which makes this antique over 117 years old. This specific Model Number 7 9 1 hardly ever comes up for sale. Even the two white Rubber Rollers are both in tact and in great condition. The wooden Handle on the end of the Galvanized Iron Crank is still all there. And it cranks real nice and easy.
