Antique 1923, 1924, 1925 Alcazar Combination Dual Fuel Range Stove Gas Wood Coal
This is an incredible survivor! This range is from the 1923-1925 period. Based on the limited period resources I've seen. This rage is designed to work with solid fuel(coal or wood) as well as gas. It has four coal/wood burners on the left over the firebox, and four gas burners, and what appears to be a fifth tiny simmer burner. The solid fuel oven is on the bottom, and the top has a gas oven on the left with windows, and a broiler with all original pans on the right. It is incredibly(99.7% complete. It has all of its gas rails, burners, grates, oven racks, ash collector, even the lifters and ash shaker handles. The only things that I can see missing are a few(non proprietary so far as I can tell) bolts, and one hinge pin for the broiler door is a replacement. It has a couple of internal dampers built into it, and it sits on the original ... morecups that keep the legs from digging into your floors. The grey and white porcelain enamel is very beautiful, with a few minor blemishes. There is a chip near the left leg, and in the handle, as well as a couple at the base of the back panel. The glass in the oven thermometers is cloudy, but you can still make it out. They appear easy to remove. I haven't used it, so I can't verify the condition of the gas valves, just that they are present. I am trying to bring my kitchen to a near 1890s appearance, but this stove wouldn't(at least without modification) plug and play with a hot water storage tank. range boiler) It's a phenomenally beautiful stove that deserves to be used and loved, something that I can't provide right now. Beautifully restored circa 1923 Bridge Beach. Superior Eureka gas, coal and wood stove. I replated all of the nickel and the original blue and white finish is in beautiful condition, with a few blemishes. I only cooked on the wood side once, but I've used the gas side for the last few years and it works great. The thermostat in gas oven is actually quite accurate. The wood and coal part consists of four burners and the lower oven. Then there are the frour natural gas cooking burners and the one simmer burner on the right side. Up above on the left is the gas oven which is controlled by a very accurate thermostat. On ther right is the gas broiler. It is the most furocious broiler I've ever seen. Take a look at the picture. This is beautiful old camp stove called the American Kampkook by the American Gas Machine Co. Inc. of Albert Lea. Minnesota. It is model 47 and the last patent date is April 26, 1927. It has collapsible legs, supported collapsible wings, cast iron grills and 3 burners. The gas tank fits nicely on the front and is supported by the carrying handle and internal gas fixture. It measures 26" long and 10 1/2" deep. The stove shows wear with scratches, burn marks, rusty spot on the lid/top, light dirt. I did not try to make it work although it appears to be in working condition but is not tested. All parts appear to be there. Buyer pays shipping parcel post for 24 pounds. This is a very cool old stove that was found in outdoor st orage. Hence the rust. The maker was known for manufacturing ovens and stoves. I would guess the date to be early 1900's? This is made of cast iron. And I can only guess that it was some kind of stove or grill? There is a heating element in the center and inlets for what I wou l d assume to be a gas supply. There also look s to be a center grate that's missing as well as an exterior guard that's missing. One of the g rates has a small hairline crack. The idea being that the child of the buyer would take it home, play with it, and bond with it and the Tappan name. When the time came for that child to be in the market for a real full size stove those fond memories would come back. Antique. Probably from the early 1900's, Majestic 10 burner gas stove or range with double ovens. All metal. Stands on four ogee style feet. All the knobs and handles are there including the 2 porcelain controls. Model on the front plate says dd-210tt(as best I can make out. The tiles on the back splash are a later addition. Each oven door has a medallion that says Majestic and Short Order. Floor to the top of the back splash is 57 inches. Hot plate to the floor is 33 inches, front to back is 32 inches and it is 68 inches across the front including the gas inlets. All measurements are approximate. 1950's Antique Classic gas Wedgewood stove
This is a 1950's Wedgewood gas stove- range. I had this stove completed refurbished several years back. Everything works great. Except for the clock and timer. I hardly use it to cook. I eat out most of the times. It has an oven and a broiler, 4 burners and a griddle. It measures 40 1/4" wide x 28" deep x 36 1/4" high(front) and 46 1/2" back) I had new insulation put in and new gas lines. The grates were dipped in black porcelain. The burners were soaked in acid to clean them out real good. All of the lights work. The stove does have some dings and blemishes as you can see in the pictures. But other than that it work great.
