Chambers STOVE Rare Gas & Wood Burning Antique Vintage
This is an extra special. Very rare unit: a vintage Chambers stove with a wood burning box on the left, one of the first dual fuel units made. I have never seen one before. Includes the aluminum pot in the soup well. The unit measures about 51"wide(left to right) x 33 deep, out to handles(front to back) and about 36 high. The fire box is in great shape and I am told all burners work fine, but I did not test it. It is natural gas at this time. Condition: This item is an antique and is sold in"as-is" condition. This does need a restoration to be perfect, But it looks pretty nice as is, the only thing I don't see is the pilot burner cover, but it has all the warming accessories. I don't know a lot about this as it is not mine. My friend said it sat for several yrs with no use, It should be gone over before use, but if anything is needed, you should be able to obtain it, this is a sought after oven because of its high quality. Chambers built some of the very first built-in cook tops available. And this one came from a 1950’s house in the Chicago area.
