This auction is for a Vintage Cast Iron Art Deco Wood Burning Stove Finial. This unique vintage stove finial measures 8 ¾ inches high. 10 inches in diameter at the center, 3 ¾ inches at diameter base, round top measures 2 ¾ inches, and 6 inches between top of two handles. Unmarked. Fine condition. No cracks or chips. Minor wear on nickel plating. Age unknown. Note the ornate screws which holds the finial together. The handles attach separately through four slots. Finial can be opened to find a bolt inside which I think would attach finial to a swing top, etc. Heavy- weighs about 2 ½ pounds. They don’t make them like this anymore! The classical flowing Art Nouveau design on this stove is a demonstration of why Piqua Favorite Stoves are sought after by collectors. This is model number 26 and is a corner cast iron stove with a barrel core. It measures a little over 3 and 1/2 feet tall to the top of the finial and is about 2 feet across and about on.e foot deep. About Favorite. Favorite is one of the more desirable manufactures of stoves. They moved to Piqua Ohio in 1888 and under the Direction of William K. Boal went on to produce some the most impressive cast iron stoves I have ever seen. Condition report: This stove is in Rough condition as you can see from the photos. This is probably an example where the sum of the parts are worth quite a bit more than the whole. 1800 early 1900 Antique Potty Belly Cast Iron Caboose Wood Burning Stove
Please ask questions as I am not a professional antique seller. And I want this to go to someone who will appreciate what it is. This is a family heirloom that I believe is from the late 1800's I have tried to capture everything in the pictures so please look close. It has been outside for several years and is currently support in front by bricks. Also the original bolts/pin are missing. I can find no indication of the manufacturing company as there is no writing at all found on this stove. The widest part is 40" round, the total weight is 234.2 pounds. CHARTER OAK Wood Burning COOK STOVE vintage antique Cast Iron *LPU*
Here is a big antique wood burning cook stove. Marked"Charter Oak" on firebox door and also on an emblem on oven door. Also marked"Charter Oak St Louis" on back. It is big and heavy. Made of cast iron it is about 40 inches wide. 25 inches deep(excluding handles on front and excluding pipe connector on rear) It is about 32 inches tall at the grill plus 20 inches for the backsplash for a total overall of 52 inches tall. I did not have a scale to weigh this on but it is very heavy. Firebox has some damages(photo#7) Ash pan needs replaced. Small piece broke off backsplash mounting arm(far left bottom in photo#3. Backsplash is still solidly attached) Left side of pipe connector is cracked(photo#12) Left side door needs a catch. Oven door is set up with a spring closure which needs adjusted. Other rather minor flaws. All four ... morelegs are good. Porcelain/enamel is nice with some rather minor blemishes. Water heater and fold out spigot are good. Has all of the hot plate lids and burners. Sold as a display/collector item. It probally needs some repairs before it would be safe/wise to use. See photos for condition. The enamel has quite a few marks/areas where it has come off(see pictures) however this has not detracted from it's look because it is an antique. Which has been useful. It is green in color. This Stove was once is magnificent condition. I cooked a vast array of home cooked meals and some of the best baked breads in this stove. It is a light green and cream colored enamel and cast iron stove. I believe it is of the late 1800's but not certain. This stove is a restoration project. It has some missing parts. It was minted in San Franscisco between 1890 and 1910, moved to Virginia City, Nevada, Silver Mines, then moved to Lake Tahoe, then sold in an Estate Sale to me. The sale was at the same time of the Lorne Green Bonanza Estate sale in spring of 2013 but the procurer was not certain if it came from the Lorne Green holdings. It is spectacular and cared for, definitely someone of influence and affluence. Normally these are about 30" wide. Due to the vent with cast scroll work at left it is 38.5" wide or 47" wide to edge of removable pan leaf on right(and the round pot holders extend it another 6" to right) 30" tall ... moreto burner level. 57.5" tall to top of back panel. 30" deep from back to front oven handle. I love wood burning stoves and this is by far the most prestigious stove Ive ever seen. Nickle is in excellent shape. Stove itself is also in excellent shape. Rectangular pan leaf to right is removable as are the 2 round pan holders. Includes the 2 cast iron pots you see. Bread warmer overhead. Just below the bread warmer are 2 round nickel coated pan holders that hinge and swing down to horizontal position. The pics do not do it justice. This is absolutely. 2 Original Antique Cast Iron Majestic Wood Burning Stove Shelves With Brackets I have to tell you about the auction that I went to this week. It was in Geneva Illinois. In a sandstone building that was built before the Civil War. The sale was the final liquidation of an antique store(they‘d had one previous auction- so much stuff, they had to have two) that used to operate out of this location- but the building has been closed, as well as the business, for over 20 years following the passing of the previous owners. Now, we’re talking two stories, an attic and a basement PACKED with antiques- it’s hard to imagine, and all of it just sitting for two decades. These folks had amassed a huge antique collection- many many items dating back to the early 1800s and before. There’s some gorgeous pieces of primitive Americana that I found. I can’t tell ... moreyou how excited I am to be listing my treasures from the sale. I will be listing them for weeks to come. I also have the last of my farm auctions and South Dakota finds listed this week, so there’s something for everyone! I have to apologize for my hard to figure out photos of these two old stove shelves. All 4 pieces are wired together in order to keep from separating. And I couldn't unwind them without a pair of gloves or at least a tinsnip! What I have(whether or not you could tell! is a pair of original Majestic brand wood stove shelves. Dating to the late 1800s, early 1900s, both of these shelves would have been mounted inside of the brackets that you see with them on the back wall of the stove. The brackets would have been at the base of the shelves, and the shelves folded up flush against the back of the stove for when not in use. You can see that each shelf has a pin on either side that fits into the openings on the brakcets. The brackets then each have two holes for mounting on the wall of the stove. This is a one-of-a-kind. Beautiful, Victor Coral" No. 16, cast-iron wood burning stove.It has around 90 windows on the front and sides to give you a great view of the burning wood. It has the 7" oval to 6" round adapter and one piece of stove pipe and is ready to be hooked up. You will not find another stove of this quality and price! The stove is about 66" H, 23" D, and 28" W. The grates are in great shape and it has a place on the back to hold a pot of coffee so there is always a hot cup of coffee available. It has a light in it now, and could be hooked up for burning gas, which would be a shame. It is very heavy and will have to be picked up. We are one hour north of Eau Claire, WI. Thanks for looking!

Nice cast iron wood burning parlor stove reproduction of a late 1800's stove and made in Taiwan. No cracks or chips. Measures about 26" by 23" at feet. 31" tall(excluding spire) with burning chamber about 18" wide and 12" deep with loading door on front and right side. Has 2 removable cooking lids on top(under chromed top) with chromed foot rest. There is some surface rust and chrome wear. No log grate included. 2 issues found. 1- tiny hole or two in the seal seperating top from chamber at vent/flue at back and high heat sealer(in caulking tube) can be purchased for under $10 at most fireplace stores. 2- the 2 mica/isinglass in bottom center front grate had small holes so I inserted some metal for protection and could be replaced if desired. The overall outside measurements are 33" long 25" tall and 18" wide. The inside firebox area measures 22" deep 14" tall and 11" wide. The door opening will allow for loading big 7" diameter logs. The grate area size will accommodate a 22" long and 7 1/2" wide grate which you can make easily yourself or use without. The stove top has two areas for pots to cook on and the top is removable for easy clean out and loading of logs. He needed to move out of state but owed me some money for some electrical work and small engine repair I did for him and I took this and a few other items in trade for my services. I am working on getting a log grate made for this stove as I didn't get it from my friend before he left town, and it will be included in the auction if I am able to get it made. Stove could be made to look new with a quick wire brushing and a coat of stove black or high temp paint. Antique SPARK Cast Iron Salesman Sample Wood Burning Pot Belly Stove- This is a nice little stove that could almost be considered a toy. Except for the fact that it actually works. This particular stove has been used.the remnants of soot. Etc. still show in the photos. These little stoves were made by Grey Casting Company in Mount Joy. PA as replicas that salesmen would take to potential customers. They were produced with all working parts. The shaker grate empties into the cleanout. The drafts can be adjusted and all the doors open. The top plate can be taken off and you can actually connect it to a stove pipe. It stands 13 1/2" tall x 8" wide from foot to foot and 9" deep from foot to foot. CONDITION: This stove does show signs of being used and also has some surface rust. One of its legs has a broken piece up under the body ... moreat a point that would hold it in place by the nut. It still stands. But that point could be repaired. It stands fine as it is, though. Rare Antique Cast Iron Wood Burning Stove and Heater
You are bidding on an Antique Cast Iron Stove. This is truly a great piece and beautiful to look at. As you can see in the pics. I have burned some wood inside this to make sure it works as good as it did in its prime. I am selling this as an antique, and I have not made any modifications to it since I have had it. I do notice that on the"wings" that there have been screws replaced and on the silver faceplate, but does not affect the look of it. As you can see, the top does remove and the bottom does unscrew, however, time has taken a toll on some of the pieces. The center piece that looks like a spring door needs to be re-welded or brazed to the frame again. The base has also suffered a stress crack and a few fracture lines which will also need to be mended. Overall though, this stands roughly 4+ feet and is beautiful. Could be ... moreused in home or outside for an ambiance piece. This thing weighs over 100 pounds, so it cannot be shipped, but I can meet you within a certain area for a fee.
