This auction is for a Vintage Cast Iron Art Deco Wood Burning Stove Finial. This unique vintage stove finial measures 8 ¾ inches high. 10 inches in diameter at the center, 3 ¾ inches at diameter base, round top measures 2 ¾ inches, and 6 inches between top of two handles. Unmarked. Fine condition. No cracks or chips. Minor wear on nickel plating. Age unknown. Note the ornate screws which holds the finial together. The handles attach separately through four slots. Finial can be opened to find a bolt inside which I think would attach finial to a swing top, etc. Heavy- weighs about 2 ½ pounds. They don’t make them like this anymore! The classical flowing Art Nouveau design on this stove is a demonstration of why Piqua Favorite Stoves are sought after by collectors. This is model number 26 and is a corner cast iron stove with a barrel core. It measures a little over 3 and 1/2 feet tall to the top of the finial and is about 2 feet across and about on.e foot deep. About Favorite. Favorite is one of the more desirable manufactures of stoves. They moved to Piqua Ohio in 1888 and under the Direction of William K. Boal went on to produce some the most impressive cast iron stoves I have ever seen. Condition report: This stove is in Rough condition as you can see from the photos. This is probably an example where the sum of the parts are worth quite a bit more than the whole. Note photos 3. 6, 7 and eight the top of the stove is cracked ... moreand missing in several places this also creates structual and stability issues. Note one peice of glass missing in front door first photo no legs or base. In the back stove panel there are two cracks note photo 11 and 12 photo 11 is on the side and 12 is one the bottom. CHARTER OAK Wood Burning COOK STOVE vintage antique Cast Iron *LPU*
Here is a big antique wood burning cook stove. Marked"Charter Oak" on firebox door and also on an emblem on oven door. Also marked"Charter Oak St Louis" on back. It is big and heavy. Made of cast iron it is about 40 inches wide. 25 inches deep(excluding handles on front and excluding pipe connector on rear) It is about 32 inches tall at the grill plus 20 inches for the backsplash for a total overall of 52 inches tall. I did not have a scale to weigh this on but it is very heavy. Firebox has some damages(photo#7) Ash pan needs replaced. Small piece broke off backsplash mounting arm(far left bottom in photo#3. Backsplash is still solidly attached) Left side of pipe connector is cracked(photo#12) Left side door needs a catch. Oven door is set up with a spring closure which needs adjusted. Other rather minor flaws. All four ... morelegs are good. Porcelain/enamel is nice with some rather minor blemishes. Water heater and fold out spigot are good. Has all of the hot plate lids and burners. Sold as a display/collector item. It probally needs some repairs before it would be safe/wise to use. See photos for condition. A group of three antique cast iron stove parts. I am unsure of the exact function of each. They could be lid lifters. Grate shakers, or something else, but they are all stove related. The first piece measures about 8-1/4" long and is marked"140" on the top of the handle. There are some casting marks on the underside of the handle as well. But they are difficult to read. The second piece m easures about 8" long. Has a casting mark on the underside of"B63" and is nickel plated. The third piece m easures about 11-1/2" long and has no casting marks or other identifiers. And is also nickel plated. The parts are used. But in good condition. The plated items do show some plating wear and minor rusting. The pictures show the condition of the items. First of all. This is a vintage 1980 piece made in the shape of an antique wood stove. It is an advertising/ promotional flue cover for Sexton Plumbing Supply Company of Manasquan, New Jersey. Embossed into the metal on the back is: copyright Sexton 1980. U.S.A. 1199-77. It is a metal piece but it is not cast iron. It is definitely much lighter. Exact metal unknown. I think it may be galvanized aluminum or maybe a heavy tin alloy. Front is a deep black like an antique wood stove. The back is a silver color with a very good and sturdy hanger. Size: approx 5 3/8ths inches high and approx 3 3/4ths inches wide. Condition: It is in particularly fine condition. It appears to be unused. ebay now requires that one choose"new" or"used. Vintage jewel wood stove damper cast iron
This is a Jewel Woodstock stove damper. It is dated 1903. Part number 15. It does have a considerable amount of rust on it. If you are looking at the picture, on the left hand side there is a chip. The chip is 1 1/4 inches long and 3/8 of an inch deep. I am not sure if this would effect the function of the damper or not. I did take a separate picture of the chip so you can examine it. Antique Cast Iron Coal or Wood Stove Swing Arm Warming Plate Trivet Bracket Part
This auction is for an old cast iron part that I think went on an old coal or wood fired kitchen stove. I think it is a swing out warming plate. But it would also made a great plant stand or lamp holder. It is rusty with traces of white paint, but it gives it a great shabby look. The arm is about 9" long and the plate measures about 7" in diameter. The plate unscrews from the arm for easier and safer shipping. Low minimum bid, no reserve auction!
