VINTAGE Antique CAST Iron 3 BURNER Gas CAMP Cook CANNING Stove ~ SUPER Nice!
This is an Antique Cast Iron 3 Burner Gas/ Propane Camp/ Cook/ Canning Stove measuring 27 1/4" long by 12 1/4" wide& 6" high. It is marked underneath- 25AS-878A. I acquired this Stove from an older gentleman who told me that his mother used to use this Stove all the time when she would do her canning with several neighbor ladies- out in the barn! He told me that as far as he knows. The Stove works just fine. It is in Excellent Vintage condition- Very Stout- has just light surface rust that will easily remove with a bit of sanding& quite a bit of the original Black paint still remains on the underside. An additional embellishment would be the three White Porcelain Knobs which move smoothly. This Stove also comes with it's original corrugated metal Hose Connector& can be used with gas or propane by changing out ... morethe Brass Orifice at the end of the Black Tube in front of the White Knobs. ANTIQUE CAST IRON STOVE TOP PARTS.12 fitted pieces These cast iron stove parts are getting hard to find. I do not know the exact age. Or which brand cook stove they came from. They vary in condition from fairly smooth to roughly rust pitted. Please use the photos as a guide. They have been lightly wisk broomed, but still have a lot of soot on them. Wear gloves or prepare to get your hands dirty. I don't see any cracks or major chips. They all appear to be a fitted size match. The lids measures about 8 3/16" in diameter. This unique vintage stove finial measures 8 ¾ inches high. 10 inches in diameter at the center, 3 ¾ inches at diameter base, round top measures 2 ¾ inches, and 6 inches between top of two handles. Unmarked. Fine condition. No cracks or chips. Minor wear on nickel plating. Age unknown. Note the ornate screws which holds the finial together. The handles attach separately through four slots. The original lift up stove plates, with the stove plate lifting tool) the trophy and cover for the top pieces. There are nickle plated accent pieces and front and the trophy top cover is shiny as well. The body of the stove features nice scroll work and ornamental cast right into the piece, adding to the overall Beautiy! This piece is a reproduction of a late 1800's parlor stove. Stove was made in Taiwan in the 1960's or 70's. This piece is used and there is a little pitting on the nickel plate, otherwise in very good condition for its age. Here is a big antique wood burning cook stove. Marked"Charter Oak" on firebox door and also on an emblem on oven door. Also marked"Charter Oak St Louis" on back. It is big and heavy. Made of cast iron it is about 40 inches wide. 25 inches deep(excluding handles on front and excluding pipe connector on rear) It is about 32 inches tall at the grill plus 20 inches for the backsplash for a total overall of 52 inches tall. I did not have a scale to weigh this on but it is very heavy. Firebox has some damages(photo#7) Ash pan needs replaced. Small piece broke off backsplash mounting arm(far left bottom in photo#3. Backsplash is still solidly attached) Left side of pipe connector is cracked(photo#12) Left side door needs a catch. Oven door is set up with a spring closure which needs adjusted. Other rather minor flaws. All four ... morelegs are good. Porcelain/enamel is nice with some rather minor blemishes. Water heater and fold out spigot are good. Has all of the hot plate lids and burners. Sold as a display/collector item. It probally needs some repairs before it would be safe/wise to use. See photos for condition. Great lot here. I have no idea how old they are or what they fit. Maybe a how comfort but in no way do I guarantee that.SOme of them have several chips around the rim. They have a lot of tarnishing surface rust and some pitting. the spacer that goes in between two eyes is a little bowed and has a crack. They need a good cleaning. The larger eyes measure approx 7 15/16 and the one with holes and writing measures 6 3/4. Even with the condition these are hard to find and im starting them at a very reasonable price. Antique or vintage cast iron with enamel front plate Radio stove door Harwick ??
Up for bid is an antique or vintage cast iron with a white enamel plated front plate stove door. It is marked Radio. In my research. The only Radio stove I could find was made bt Harwick. It looks like the door was chrome plated. Most of the chrome plating is gone, just a little left on some of the edges. The latch is broke/missing. There are spots, stains and a chip in the enamel finish on the front plate. I pack my postcards between 2 pieces of cardboard. Then in an envelope with a tracking number, which results in a higher price than just sticking it in an envelope. This item/items as most of the things I sell. Came from an auction, flea market, estate sale or rummage sale. Description Vintage cast iron finial with a very ornate design and detail. I don't know what exactly this is off of but it sure is cool. It has a two piece design with two windows in the front. See pictures. This fine piece has some grand detail! You could really get creative with this piece. Quite unique! Approximate Measurements It is 9" tall overall and is 8" x 4" wide. The'bore' or hole in the bottom is 1/4" diameter. Markings None Condition Good condition for its age without any cracks. It has moderate to severe surface rust. Scratches and pitting. Breaks, or repairs. Looks real good. In the casting on the top says" 712" Near the backside in the casting it says" Griswold" Underneath in the casting in raised letters" 183 ERIE USA" There is an extra brass fitting wired on the gas pipe in the front, probably originally came with the stove.
