Antique Victorian wicker doll baby buggy or pram. The buggy is in very good condition. The wicker is intact along with the pie shaped celluloid windows on each side of the buggy. It measures 29 inches long, 13 1/2 inches wide and 30 inches tall. The inside of the buggy measures 9 inches wide and 20 1/2 inches long. The brake mechanism is in working order. It has a steel frame, steel springs, a wooden handle, and steel foot brake. Also a reclining back. The rubber on the wheels has oxidized and is very hard. The rubber on one of wheel has broken off. I n it s day was truly top of the line and will be the marquee of any collection. This buggy is all original and features: W ood body with two tone paint and gold pin-striping. H igh rear wire wheels. A djustable sun canopy. F u ll spring steel suspension, Heavy du ty steel axles Beautiful scrolled steel leading to turned handle with wonderful patina! Measures approximately 12 inches wide by 32 inches long and 18 i nches high with the can opy down. The ha nd le is 24 inches high. Condition: T his carriage is over 100 years old and not a ma de to look old reproduction. Although it has been we ll cared for and used only as a display piece in recent years it was used for its intended purpose sometime prior to that. But certainly very good. I can find no holes in the wicker, but there are some very small spots of worn or chipped paint(does not appear to be re-painted) and I can see a small section(1/2 inch) of missing braided trim on the footrest(check photo close-up) Top works well, wheels turn well, and it seems to be quite sturdy all around. Looks like the interior lining is missing(as seen in first pic) but these can be easily re-lined by an experienced doll collector/restorer. This is a fabulous vintage doll buggy. IT is made of wood. Wicker and canvas with scrolled metal frame and wheels. It is in great condition. The wicker sides have a butterfly pattern. The inside of the buggy is made of a black canvas as is the hood. The buggy stands approx. 11" high and it is 10" from the end of the handle to the back of the hood. The bed of the buggy is 3" deep and 6" wide. The wheels are in excellent working condition. The buggy has no tears or cracks visible. Antique carriage pram crib doll baby blanket - wool squares, embroidered corner
This is a darling antique linen and I think it's all handmade. It is comprised of little 3 1/2" squares made of woven wool yarn that is variegated with a shiny thread giving a sparkle to the overall finish. The squares are woven and then crocheted or sewn together with the wool yarn. There is a 1/2" scalloped edge all handcrocheted to the border. Then. On one corner there is a large bouquet of pastel flowers done in yarn in shades of pink, blue and mint green held with a blue bow made of chainstitching. The flower embroidery is kind of a crewel work and is done on the top only- it does not go thru to the backside of the blanket. It is made so that when the baby is laid in the blanket. The sides would folded over and then the bottom folded up and this places the bouquet in a proper position on top of the little one. I gave a ... morepicture of it folded this way. How clever. This is a definite wool and might even be Lindsey-Woolsey material- It has that kind of'itchy' feel to it. CONCERNS: the last 3 pictures show some moth damage close to the edge on one square. A square that has some pulls to the thread and a small stain right on the edge(nothing bad) It is kind of a darker ivory color which I think maybe age-related darkening but don't know for sure. It measures 33" X 40" and measures 51" corner to diagonal corner. Nice addition to a collection of handwork. I remember reading that Victorian ladies used to make small looms which they wove squares like these on and then used them in such as this and I think that is what this is. Here we have a beautiful large porcelain figurine which measures approximately 8" tall and 9" long. It is in great shape with no chips. Cracks or repairs. If you look inside of the buggy lid down behind the baby, there is a mold flaw from manufacturing(small split line) which I've shown. This is not damage. Simply in the mold, but I want to be accurate. It has the Gebruder Heubach symbol with DEP. 9689 pressed into the bottom. We acquired a large quantity loose pages and sections from disbound 19th century hardware catalogs that dated to the 1880s and 1890s or so. The extension foot area needs to be repaired with new cloth material. Puppy design on mattress. Perhaps it is the original since it fits so well. Brake works. Two back wheels have flat spots. But the carriage rolls nicely. Handsome black finish with pin striping Veneer separating in a few places. We found this in Nana's attic in 1972 and used it with our first child. When the second child came along two years later we put the carriage in storage and purchased a two seat buggy for the boys to ride in. Antique Vintage Pram Baby Carriage Danish, Gingham design from Denmark-RARE EUC
Great add to any collection or display/use. This is old so it has some inherent issues expected with age. Besides being characteristically flimsy and probably not the safest thing to push a baby around in. It would still be a great add to décor or occasional use: Chrome trim is bent in some places. Hole(at least 2 of them like the one pictured Original mattress stained(needs dry cleaned) Not perfect metal but I cleaned up some with 000 steel wool and the rust comes off for the most part. Top lifts off so it can be carried like a bassinet. Measures around 40" tall. 44" in overall length and 20" wide. Not sure of age but appears to be made in Denmark many years ago. We just found this 140 year old Vintage Antique Victorian Baby Stroller. It is all here and it all works well. It is fully collapsible with springs and all and all original brackets and hardware is here, not much rust at all anywhere on the buggy. We bought this stroller with a Kestner German Doll inside from a large Estate Sale in Beverly Hills. It has been in that location for over 60 years kept inside with the doll. It appears to have the original pillow and cushion but so hard for me to tell, for sure from that age and in great condition for the age. This is a very rare item in this condition. Vintage Italian made Giordani pram in excellent condition. Very nice blue velvet material and cream vinyl interior. Still works great very sturdy foot pedal brake on the back wheels for parking. Pushes like a dream. Kind of rocks front and back when you push down on the handle bar so you can sooth your baby. We used the top as a bassinet by our bedside when our baby was newborn because it has the unique feature of detaching from the base. The hood also collapses and can fold the opposite direction. Antique O.W. Siebert Wicker Perambulator, Baby Carriage, Large Doll Size Pram
This auction is for an antique large doll size pram made by the"O.W. Siebert Co" of Gardner. Massachusetts. It is in good working condition however there is some damage to the wicker on the front of the pram(as seen in photos)and the inside shows signs of age but it is all original. The rubber tires with wood spoked wheels roll easily and the hood and footwell adjust as designed. Even the brake/wheel lock still operates correctly. Over the years we have used this lovely piece as an end table. Plant stand, a display for antique dolls and even as a baby carriage for our daughter as she was quite small. It could be restored if desired be we have always enjoyed it as is and believe it makes a more authentic statement in all it's original glory. Please see photos for further description. This is an Antique Heywood Baby Pram/Buggy made in Mass. made between 1861 and 1880. This still has the original lace parasol with all the hardware in tact and functioning. oH THERE are just soooo many more pictures I have but cannot upload them thanks to the limit of 12 pictures. This piece is so detailed that we need more angles and pictures. I have never seen anything like this-bought this with a lot of other antiques recently and then the lady told us that when she had purchased it back about 40 years ago the dealer she bought it from told her it had come from the David Whitney home. I had to admit I did not know the name and when we got it home I have been researching this piece and it turns out that the Whitney this was to have come from had a huge mansion constructed back in late 1800-early 1900's that took years to build. you can look up the internet history on him as I did. The wheels and sleds are all original and in their original condition! The cushioning of the carriage is all original with no scratches or flaws at all in the fabric. There are no stains and it looks like it did when it was brand new! The parasol is intact and vibrant with no staining.Tears or snags. Up for auction is this vintage antique infants crib. Pram, carriage blanket coverlet.It is made from a pink satin LIKE fabric. The edge is trimmed with scallops of the same fabric. It is decorated with embroidered stems and flowers. At the top there is 6 ½ portion that is made to fold over on top of the blanket. It is in very good condition. There are some small spots near the bottom, and some of the scallops on the edge have holes. There is a batting, filler of some sort sandwiched between the front and back. The back seems fragile and thin, but no holes, rips or tears. There is a small hole in the front. Beautiful piece for display or use. These models notoriously collapse when used unless being pushed and stand up on their own with side locks when standing without movement. Also fold down very nicely. Chrome is in exceptional shape. The only flaws are shown in the photos including a slightly slipping seam(pictures on the corner hardly able to see it at all) and the stitching that came undone on the corner of the canopy. EXCELLENT SHAPE. At first I thought it was a replica but when I looked closer. It was clearly the original. White wheels, no issues. Antique Victorian Wicker Baby Carriage w/ Parasol. Pram Style Buggie, Early 1890 This baby carriage is from the Victorian period and in nice working condition. A wonderful display for photography. Displaying a doll collection, or pushing your little angel around town. The material looks to all be original and complete with both sides. Bottom and back. The buggy measures 35" inches tall without the adjustable& folding parasol. The length with the footrest to the handle is 42" inches long and the width is widest part of the back wheels which measures 22 1/4" inches wide. The footrest is free and adjustable back support allows for the seat to lay down for a bed. The carriage rolls freely and easily and is a black steel frame. And the carriage has a foot brake that holds firm. The frame of the parasol is complete without any ... moredamage and a unique folding design. A true survivor and a beautiful piece of American history and one sure to get all the right attention. Condition is great with just two minor repairs besides the parasol cover and lace with will need repairing or replacing. The reattaching the wicker side foot panel(or leave it off) And there is a little bow to the one foot rest sides from the side panel being off. The material on the parasol is aged with some staining and the lace is damaged. But an easy repair for someone that sews. The only damage on the wicker is at the footrest where one of the sides have come off and these two pieces are included in the sale for reattaching. It appears the wicker was painted or maybe this is the original paint. Not sure. I could deliver this carriage if within reason of my area in Michigan. And the carriage can be also picked up. The metal baby carrier can be removed off the chrome chassis. The bedding can be propped up. This is a very nice stroller. This stroller is a full size. It measures roughly 46" tall x 45" long with the handles open x 24" wide, from wheel to wheel. I don't know if the white bedding is original or not. Condition: Wear is expected of a baby carriage this old. Below I've listed everything that I see on the pram. 1) There are no tears or rips in the fabric. It looks very good. 2) On the fabric that covers the bed area. Which comes off, liguid was spilled on one area. 3) The rubber wheels and the break pad show the most wear. They are cracked and dry. 4) One of the two ... morebreak pads is missing. 5) On all four sides of the metal carrier there are a few scratches. Noticable on close inspection. 6) The chrome chassis looks good with m inimal surface rust. Except around the spokes area on the wheels. 7) T he ribbed black handle has a little white mark. Removable with the right cleaner. 8) The metal logo on the front side has part of it loose and disconnected from the rest of the logo. Seen in the 4th photo. The logo looks intact. If left alone, the logo stays intact, but if you move the last 1/2" smaller right part of the logo, it moves, which could be super glued to keep it stayed together. Antique Wicker Baby Carriage Buggy Pram~Converts to Stroller~WOW!
You are bidding on an AWESOME estate find in this antique wicker baby carriage. Full size.not for dolls) As you can see in the pictures. It converts to a stroller, both flat and with head elevated and dropped footrest. Although not without some flaws. It is in amazing condition for its age! I find no broken wicker. The wheels and fenders give it a real"Cadillac Elegance" look. The wheels are 7 1/2" diameter and have the original Westland rubber tires. The wheels HAVE been painted on the outside surface, but this is the only"restoration" I find. The wooden surfaces had all been originally painted yellow, and this paint is flakiing off.A LOT! The steel handle easily disconnects from the buggy for storage. And is rubber-coated across the top. The hood also easily disconnects. The steel undercarriage is also painted yelllow. ... moreAnd also flaking off. Two wheels have the original leather strap connection, one has NO connection, and the other is held together with twine. The worst flaw I find is that there is a wooden support bar across the hood. And this is broken. It lies between the wicker and the plastic lining, so to repair it would require removing the lining. You can't see it, and it does not alter the look of the buggy except for where the lining is drooping somewhat in that area where it was attched to the bar. The steel hub caps and fenders have suffered some corrosion over the years. Some places worse than others. As can be seen in the 10th picture. There is an expandable pouch at the foot of the buggy for storage(diapers, bottles, etc. The rest of the pictures show the underside. This comes with the original straw-filled mattress. And original ticking, although I doubt you would want to use it for a baby! One side is in fine shape. The other side has a hole in the tickiing, and also shows staining. Mattress measures 26" x 14" Measurements are: 36" from front to back; hood measures 18" wide. Height is 32" to top of hood. I am not an antique dealer. But I have

The base support is metal and all four wheels are metal and rubber. The pushing handle bar is silver metal. The bed of this pram has spring hooks so that if you remove them allows you to take the bed part of the pram off so you can set it down on any flat surface. The stroller itself measures approx. 28" tall x 34" long x 17" wide. The wheels are all metal and rubber. There are four of them. They measure approx. 7" in diameter. Overall this Pram is in good vintage condition. There are no large visible rips or tears to the material. There are a few areas on the hood and bed where the material has worn and has very small tears over the material where it is being pulled taught by the metal. There is some light rusting on the metal. The buggy seems to all be intact. On the hood of the carriage the middle metal bar is bent. It looks to be easily fixable by bending it back. This item would make a great addition to any baby doll Pram collection. The make is unknown as it is unmarked. The removable red and blue padded seat cover that comes with it has the German label"die Storchenmuhle" on it. The owner says it is as old as the pram is. All components on the pram work well-no parts are missing from it. No splints are in the wicker. It operates very well mechanically. Glides and turns smoothly, etc. It is very sturdy and was well made and will collapse for easy storage. It has a very faint smell of smoke to it from having been stored in a smoker's home; otherwise it is very clean. Since I have acquired it, I have noticed much of the odor has dissipated. Antique Victorian Wicker Doll / Baby Buggy or Pram ~ Great Christmas Gift !!!
For your consideration I offer this antique wicker doll/ baby buggy. Warm woven wicker. Tan with colors in the middle of the body. Quarter circle windows on each side of hood. In amazing antique condition. Usually the rubber on the wheels has issues but this buggy does not. Curled strong metal frame. Measures: 26" long x 14 1/2" wide x 26" tall. The frame has a wonderful creme colored patina. Inside wood portions in good condition. Included is the blue satin baby blanket that was inside when I purchased it. The blanket and pillow sham is in good antique condition. You will pay only actual shipping cost. If you gave me too much I will return any over payment. $4.00 packing& handling fee. The only flaw I see is associated with age. The top hood is slightly off quilter. I always thought of correcting that but am not handy ... morewith any repairs.
