This auction is for a vintage 1930's Perfection Smokeless Oil Heater in excellent condition. As the pictures show. It works perfectly and has seen very little use. The chrome is bright and looks new. The attaching hardware is virtually rust free, the oil reservoir is bright and clean, fuel gauge functional, and there appears to be plenty of wick in it. The wick wheel raises and lowers the wick very smoothly. The vintage glass globe is chip and crack free. I see several tiny rust spots on the base, around the seams, and there is a dime sized chip in the porcelain where the handle contacts the chimney. This heater is in exceptional, original condition. This is for an original antique glass insert for a Perfection Oil Heater. I removed this from a heater that too rusty to save. The glass does not have any chips. Just the usual rough edges from the manufacturing process. There are no cracks. There is one mold mark, also from the manufacturing. The glass is bright and shiny with the need for only minor cleaning. The height is 8 3/16. The opening is 7 7/8 outside diameter.

Vintage PERFECTION 160 Heater Oil Heater Stove
Perfection 160 in great shape. The nickle on this heater is in really nice shape and will clean up very nicely. The nickle feet do have some rust. Please see pics for further condition. The stack has a small dent. The fount looks to be in good shape. The wick adjuster moves freely and rises the flame spreader and wick like it should. I have not tested this heater it is sold AS IS. Also I have not tested the fount tank for leaks. It doesn't appear to have any holes anywhere but I have not tested it. It will need some cleaning.

Early (Teens) Perfection Smokeless Oil Heater Brass Fount (Nice But Has Issues).
Antique Perfection Oil Heater brass fount. The wick raiser has been repaired by a past owner and does not function correctly. The wick looks good but the only way I can raise or lower it is by pulling it cold with my hand. Otherwise turning the wick raiser does not move the wick it. Deflects the wheel and skips teeth. I'm selling it here for parts. Maybe someone can fix it or has parts that would enable it to function again. The fount itself looks good. No leaks or cracks, everything seems to work. You are bidding on a vintage PERFECTION SMOKELESS OIL HEATER. It is model# 140-C(Which I believe to be from 1913) This is in working order and is really cool! This smokeless heater is in vintage condition. And there is some surface rust from over the years. I love the look as is. However, from my reasearch I have seen these beautifully redone, but I thought it was best to let the restoration up to the new owner. It measures 23.5 inches tall x 16.75 inches at the furthest distance between the legs. The vents all seem to work well. And the heater opens and closes nicely. The oil tank is really cool as well, being made out of either brass or copper! It may need a wick in the near future, but the heater lights up nicely(as can be seen in the pictures) And yes, I emptied out all the oil afterwards in order to avoid a huge mess in the mailing process. ... moreEnjoy. For your consideration we are offering this outstanding antique Perfection Model 750 kerosene/ oil heater. Overall this piece measures in at 25"H 13"D. Condition is as follows/ shown: Heater is completely original and without restoration minus the 2 top screws were replaced due to being locker down. The paint is fantastic with only a few small rubs to mention. The glass shade is void of damage, the nickel plat is shiney/ bright. There are no dents, heavy scratches, holes, corrosion, heavy rust to mention. The piece still has a wick as shown. I don't believe this was used very much nor has it been exposed to moisture. Antique Perfection Smokeless Oil- Kerosene Heater Antique Perfection Smokeless Oil Heater. I rubbed off enough of the"patina" to determine this heater has 1900 and 1902 patent dates. There is also a"7 12" stamped in the top of the wick cap(see 2nd to last photo) That may indicate a production date. I think the later models came out in 1913. It still has a good Perfection wick. This kerosene heater measures approximately 24 1/2" tall, 12 1/2" side to side, and 12 1/2" front to back. This old heater appears complete except for the sight glass and would make a great restoration project if you want it to look like new. Or you could leave it as is, as shown in photos, for a rustic addition to your decor.

This is used and very dirty. There is some paint and other marks on it as well. There is a used wick in it. The knob turns fairly easily but not very far either way. I never had to use one of these before so I don't know if that is normal or not. The handle is secure. The whole thing is about 8.5" tall and 8.5" across the bottom. Says to use only 500 Perfection Wicks. The tank is empty. Most of our items are from estate sales so we do not know all the history/ usage of our listed items. We try to give an accurate description of our items and answer any questions to the best of our ability. Please look at all the pictures and ask questions before bidding. VINTAGE PERFECTION KEROSENE OIL HEATER. MADE IN USA. THE TRIANGLE READS.TRADEMARK REG.US.PAT OFF NO.510. IT IS ABOUT 22" TALL AND THE HANDLE IS ABOUT 7 1/2" WHEN THE HANDLE IS UP IT STANDS ABOUT 29 1/2" TALL. IT HAD BEEN PAINTED AND SOME LIGHT RUST IS SHOWING THROUGH SOME PARTS OF THE HEATER. I THINK BRUSHING IT AND A FRESH COAT OF PAINT WOULD DO IT WONDER, OR LEAVE IT ALONE, LOOKS GOOD AS IT IS. THE INSIDE OF THE HEATER IS EMPTY.
