I am offering this as local pick-up only in Cochranville. PA. However, if you are very nice and cooperative we can discuss crating and shipping at additional expense to you, the purchaser/ buyer. Please contact me prior to bidding if your intent is to arrange for shipping. This antique cast iron pot belly stove was manufactured sometime in the late 1800's(I think) by Somerville Stove Works in Somerville. New Jersey. I tried to research online, and very little information is available. It is probably safe to say you won't find another one very easily. It is really a piece of the once industrial history of Somerville, NJ. Amazingly. It still has the handle with it. The door vent operates as it should. It would make a wonderful parlor decoration. Plant stand or curio just the way it sits. With limited servicing it would likely function ... moreas an outdoor patio stove. However, you should enlist the services of a professional to make sure it is safe and it operable once again. It is, after all, more than a century old. Approximate dimensions are as follows It stands 28" high 14" dia. at top 16" body width 18" x 18" at base of feet I've heard some folks call this a parlor stove. Or a railroad stove. It's not in perfect condition. There are some losses in the casting as in the pictures. The bolts in the legs are mismatched. At least one or two of the four bolts appear to be original though. The flanges that hold the body to the base are broken. It was a weak link in the design, although some heavy gauge metal clips would probably solve that problem for stability. Please do not buy this with the intent to put it in your home and start burning wood. This is a salvage item and I am selling it as a curio only. This is an antique"Stewart 270 Oak" base heater from approximately 1907 that is very rare. I found it upstate New York and had it professionally restored to a magnificent finish. It looks probably as good as it looked when it came off the showroom floor 105 years ago and is ready for another 105 years. It gives an amazing amount of heat and would heat up to 5000 square feet easily. It can burn wood or coal and is extremely efficient as it exhausts from the base so only the coolest gases go up the flu. It is also possible to cook on the flat top if you want. With the price of oil and gas today. This would heat your house for probably less than a quarter of your current fuel bills. Many parts were replaced during restoration including the grate, ash box, mica glass, hot plate and finial. Also all trim parts that were originally nickel ... morewere re-plated with nickel during the restoration. I can deliver within 30 miles and maybe further for a nominal fee. Here we have a wonderful antique Abram Cox Pot belly cook stove in good vintage used condition. Black and gold trim. Has a number 12. On it. The stove measures about 24 inches tall, by 18 3/4 inches by 20 1/2 inches at the top by 18 inches by 20 inches at the base. Has two areas on top for cooking Missing one grate of two. Has door below for cleaning out ash after the wood or coal is gone. This is a great little stove for a cabin, for heat or to cook on for that great vintage cabin feel. Has a hole on top in back for a vent pipe. Needs to be checked out for safety before you use it. Was only used recently for a decorative piece in our home. Has a little vent flue that slides back and forth for air circulation. Has a wonderful eagle picture on the front of the stove. Looks pretty much original as far as I can tell but I am no expert on antique ... morestoves. The stove may need a part that is missing that I am not aware of. Up for auction is a antique Sears Salesman sample cast iron pot belly wood cook stove toy. The front of the stove is marked Sears and the door opens up and inside is a metal mesh inside with showing pipe in middle. The door hooks closed but you have to lift it up to securely closed. The legs are all intact and two of them are loose and the other two are secure. There is no top lid that you would use to cook on top. A magnificent piece of history Atlanta stove works no.40-estate sale find. Never fired Never used Approx 26" tall 13" wide and 13" long Oval flue opening 7x3.5" Comes with wrench tool. Great decorative piece and functional as well. Since it is like new you can bring it to New York penthouse as a decoration or Wisconsin hunting cabin as a free heat. Will ship with legs removed to reduce size. Only one screw per leg to put it back together. Only bad thing is a small metal chip on right rear side. Hardly noticable, but it's there- see pic 8-9 for best description.

PICK UP ONLY! Superb Antique Cast Iron Pot Belly Stove Florin#212.Mfg Florin Foundry Florin Pa. PICK UP ONLY! I bought this about 10 yrs ago at a local auction, I knew I had to have it for my house, the kitchen, I wanted always to have it hooked up and use it through those long cold winter nights here in Pa, just toss a log or two inside and the night is mine, both nostalgia and practicality, well that didn't happen but wasn't the thought nice. LOL. I remember using a wire brush to wipe away all the dirt, soot, build up from burning etc. wiped it down and have done nothing else to the stove since. I still love this stove for heat source and you can cook on top of it too, like boil water, stew pot. All pcs work and there are many different arms that open close, slide and vent. All is here no cracks anywhere it's on legs which makes ... moreit ideal for displaying on a fireproof designed floor bed, it looks amazing. It speaks a many late night story over coffee or belting down a shot after hours of shoveling the driveways and walkways. I can't give you an extact lbs but you'll need minimum of two just to lift and three or better to raise onto a flat bed of a truck, it fits into a van quite easily due to it's compact size. 29 inches tall and sets up 6 1/2 inches off the floor level on legs,sets within a floor space of 20 inches x 20 inches.
