They don’t make them like this anymore! The classical flowing Art Nouveau design on this stove is a demonstration of why Piqua Favorite Stoves are sought after by collectors. This is model number 26 and is a corner cast iron stove with a barrel core. It measures a little over 3 and 1/2 feet tall to the top of the finial and is about 2 feet across and about on.e foot deep. About Favorite. Favorite is one of the more desirable manufactures of stoves. They moved to Piqua Ohio in 1888 and under the Direction of William K. Boal went on to produce some the most impressive cast iron stoves I have ever seen. Condition report: This stove is in Rough condition as you can see from the photos. This is probably an example where the sum of the parts are worth quite a bit more than the whole. This is a family heirloom that I believe is from the late 1800's I have tried to capture everything in the pictures so please look close. It has been outside for several years and is currently support in front by bricks. Also the original bolts/pin are missing. Antique Nickel-Plated Wood Burning Stove
This Nickel Plated Parlor Stove(which I special ordered to be nickel plated from the Washington Stove Works Company of Everett. Washington and have owned since new in 1973) has a long storied tradition with the Washington Stove Works Company which was established in 1903, in Everett, Washington, but with company/family roots going back even earlier to at least 1875, in South Haven, Michigan. The stove has beautiful fine crafted detail in its iron work, brilliant(un-pitted& untarnished) nickel plating, and it works well and displays beautifully. I have left the stove in its original used condition, but it could easily be brush cleaned and nickel polished(steel wire brush and stove paint included) if desired.

Antique Wood Burning North Manchester Foundry Parlor Stove
Have used this stove as decor only but I'm sure it could be functional if that is the need. All hinges and door fits are tight. Vents operable and interior parts are in place. Seems to be missing the decorative top and some decorative skirting around the belly that I have seen in other pictures. Other that that it is rock solid with no rust.

CHARTER OAK Wood Burning COOK STOVE vintage antique Cast Iron *LPU*
Here is a big antique wood burning cook stove. Marked"Charter Oak" on firebox door and also on an emblem on oven door. Also marked"Charter Oak St Louis" on back. It is big and heavy. Made of cast iron it is about 40 inches wide. 25 inches deep(excluding handles on front and excluding pipe connector on rear) It is about 32 inches tall at the grill plus 20 inches for the backsplash for a total overall of 52 inches tall. I did not have a scale to weigh this on but it is very heavy. Firebox has some damages(photo#7) Ash pan needs replaced. Small piece broke off backsplash mounting arm(far left bottom in photo#3. Backsplash is still solidly attached) Left side of pipe connector is cracked(photo#12) Left side door needs a catch. Oven door is set up with a spring closure which needs adjusted. Other rather minor flaws. All four ... morelegs are good. Porcelain/enamel is nice with some rather minor blemishes. Water heater and fold out spigot are good. Has all of the hot plate lids and burners. Sold as a display/collector item. It probally needs some repairs before it would be safe/wise to use. See photos for condition. Antique "Stewart 270 Oak" wood or coal burning pot belly stove / base heater.
This is an antique"Stewart 270 Oak" base heater from approximately 1907 that is very rare. I found it upstate New York and had it professionally restored to a magnificent finish. It looks probably as good as it looked when it came off the showroom floor 105 years ago and is ready for another 105 years. It gives an amazing amount of heat and would heat up to 5000 square feet easily. It can burn wood or coal and is extremely efficient as it exhausts from the base so only the coolest gases go up the flu. It is also possible to cook on the flat top if you want. With the price of oil and gas today. This would heat your house for probably less than a quarter of your current fuel bills. Many parts were replaced during restoration including the grate, ash box, mica glass, hot plate and finial. Antique Wood Burning Stove Mfg by Floyd Wells My research did not produce a date of manufacture. However. A collector may have better resources to establish a date. Based on the Circa of these stoves listed below, I would speculate that Floyd and Wells manufactured the Athens model between 1930& 1940. Pennsylvania-based manufacturer Floyd. Wells& Co. produced this stove under their brand name Athens. They also made a host of ranges under the Irving brand—the Irving, Grand Irving, Loyal Irving, Prize Irving, True Irving, Rose Irving, and on and on—as well as ranges with names like Justice, Fidelity, Athens and Progress…Research provided no Most Victorian-era stoves were made from cast iron and designed to burn wood. Coal, or both. Manufacturers generally sold regionally, so the brands are not as important from a collecting standpoint, ... moreas with stoves from, say, the 1930s and 1940s. Antique Enamel and Cast Iron Wood Burning Cook Stove
This Stove was once is magnificent condition. I cooked a vast array of home cooked meals and some of the best baked breads in this stove. It is a light green and cream colored enamel and cast iron stove. I believe it is of the late 1800's but not certain. This stove is a restoration project. It has some missing parts. Rust and chipped enamel and is dirty It was once a glorious stove and well worth the time and expense to fix It was unbeknown to me put outside and has been exposed to weather However it is a great nostalgic piece and can be either restored or simply cleaned and used for décor I have previously used"Stove Black" on the cast iron which makes it look brand new and can be obtained at some hardware stores or online. It was minted in San Franscisco between 1890 and 1910, moved to Virginia City, Nevada, Silver Mines, then moved to Lake Tahoe, then sold in an Estate Sale to me. The sale was at the same time of the Lorne Green Bonanza Estate sale in spring of 2013 but the procurer was not certain if it came from the Lorne Green holdings. It is spectacular and cared for, definitely someone of influence and affluence. Normally these are about 30" wide. Due to the vent with cast scroll work at left it is 38.5" wide or 47" wide to edge of removable pan leaf on right(and the round pot holders extend it another 6" to right) 30" tall ... moreto burner level. 57.5" tall to top of back panel. 30" deep from back to front oven handle. I love wood burning stoves and this is by far the most prestigious stove Ive ever seen. Nickle is in excellent shape. Stove itself is also in excellent shape. In a sandstone building that was built before the Civil War. The sale was the final liquidation of an antique store(they‘d had one previous auction- so much stuff, they had to have two) that used to operate out of this location- but the building has been closed, as well as the business, for over 20 years following the passing of the previous owners. Now, we’re talking two stories, an attic and a basement PACKED with antiques- it’s hard to imagine, and all of it just sitting for two decades. These folks had amassed a huge antique collection- many many items dating back to the early 1800s and before. There’s some gorgeous pieces of primitive Americana that I found. I can’t tell ... moreyou how excited I am to be listing my treasures from the sale. I will be listing them for weeks to come. I also have the last of my farm auctions and South Dakota finds listed this week, so there’s something for everyone! I have to apologize for my hard to figure out photos of these two old stove shelves. All 4 pieces are wired together in order to keep from separating. And I couldn't unwind them without a pair of gloves or at least a tinsnip! What I have(whether or not you could tell! is a pair of original Majestic brand wood stove shelves. Dating to the late 1800s, early 1900s, both of these shelves would have been mounted inside of the brackets that you see with them on the back wall of the stove. The brackets would have been at the base of the shelves, and the shelves folded up flush against the back of the stove for when not in use. You can see that each shelf has a pin on either side that fits into the openings on the brakcets. The brackets then each have two holes for mounting on the wall of the stove. Vintage 1936 Monarch Malleable Range Co. Wood/Coal Cook Stove. Features an oven with gauge and comes with assorted handles for top burners and includes a bottom drawer. The top consists of 2 burners and a flat griddle surface. Also has a water reservoir for heating water and an extended pouch feed. Complete with an electric light. Plug-in and clock on the top. You will also get a reproduction operating manual. In great working condition. Ash bucket is in very good condition. Would be great in a cabin setting or vintage kitchen or off the grid living. This is used but in very good working condition. One area on the top"modern" section of the white enamel has a small chip that has been repaired. Usual amount rust etc. that you would expect from an item of this age and use. Local pickup only, this is very heavy. The stove is 48" ... morewide. 28.5" tall to the cook top and 42" tall all the way to the back top section. The top back"modern" section is removable and is 26" deep. Very detailed and delicately ornate castings. The stove is in great condition. There is one corner of the base that was broken off. I do have the pieces to weld back on if you choose to repair. It is in the back so not seen as if it was in front. The stove measures 40" tall x 31 9/16" wide at base x 17 1/4" deep. During the nineteenth century. Albany and Troy manufacturers were among the largest producers of cast-iron stoves in the world. The Hudson River allowed Troy and Albany to bring raw materials to the foundries and finished stoves to worldwide markets.
