Door handle has a lock. But I've never owned the key and don't know if it functions. The inset handle on the top lid is solid brass. The steel hinges on the lid are original, but obviously not as decorative and the ones on the front. Wheels were missing when purchased and have been replaced. Ice chamber is missing corrugated galvanized panel on which the ice rested. Provision" chamber is missing the wire shelves. Part of the original instruction label is still attached to the lid. It mentions"Sapolio" a very well known cleaning product in widespread use from 1869 to 1939. I found a Sapolio ad from 1924 specifically targeting Ice Box owners. The ornate nature of the hardware leads me to believe the Ice Box is from around 1910. Overall the piece is in very good condition. The measurements are 24" wide x 16" deep and 40 1/2" tall. The ice chamber measures 19" wide x 12" deep x 12" tall. The provision area measures 20" wide x 12" deep and 15 1/2" tall. No reserve. Available for pick-up in Frederick. Antique McCray Refrigerator/Icebox
This is a beautiful antique McCall refrigerator. It's very large and heavy. It measures 86" wide. 74" tall and 28" deep. I would guess it's 1000 lbs. but could be more. There are 8 doors total. Seven are double paned glass and the middle center is a beveled mirror. One of the outer glass panes was broken during a move. I will replace it or knock $100 off the price if it sells before I get to it. There are 2 copper lines that are cut off right at the back. I would guess there was a remote cooling unit that fed through these lines. Selling as local pickup only(Naperville, IL) No shipping. You will need a forklift or several strong people to move it.

Vintage 1937 Frigidaire Refrigerator - Antique
This 1937 Refrigerator by Frigidaire was my husband's project. He has over 120 hours invested in this project. Entire unit was disassembled. Cleaned, stripped and body work done with the top line auto body products. Wiring was completely inspected and a new primary wiring harness was installed. We are are including a timer for the main power cord so you can adjust the temperature to your desired setting. We have it set at 38 degrees right now. Unit was assembled with new insulation. All the metal pieces are all original and were all hand cleaned and polished. Note: there is some pitting on some of the pieces. Unit was painted with top line acrylic auto paint. A new door gasket was installed and he also put 4 appliance casters on it to roll with ease. This antique Oak Leonard Refrigerator/ Ice Box is in excellent condition. Inside and out. Everything is original- original color, natural patina due to age, and all original hardware and label signs still well-attached. It has approximately 30 inches width, 18 inches depth, and 37 inches in height. Small four wheels are attached on the base which are not original for Leonard's, they are only attached for easy moving of the ice box. One of the wheels was taken off, so the wheels are easy to remove if you do not want them. There is a scratch at the side(see picture) but not major. Overall, the refrigerator is in good condition. Custom Painted Antique HOTPOINT refrigerator Late1940's or early 50's
This is a great running little HOTPOINT refrigerator from the late 40's or very early 50's. It has been fully custom painted with a wild true candy apple base coat(shot high metallic silver base then shot with a real transparent red candy coat) This is not just a red. Then gold candy pearl flames with floating eyeballs at the bottom curves of the flames. Then clear coated and buffed to a high gloss. It is custom painted on all three sides. The front outside door and inside door was removed for prep and painting. The back of the outside door and all trim was removed to insure a quality job. This is a killer high gloss. Slink as glass custom paint job! Back of main door was painted white while apart. All the out side chrome was pulled off and buffed then scuffed and shot with candy gold pearl while off the unit. Freezer door was painted ... moreon both sides white while it was out as well. Lower cover removed and custom painted to match. Back of unit cleaned and painted satin heat black. New door gasket and new power cord. New white shelves. Some scratches on the inside factory plastic trim and some small scratches on the original white inside compartment floor and walls. It had some rust under the unit just above the compressor that was repaired with fiberglass mat. Sanded primed and painted black. No rust holes on the outside panels or doors. This looks and feels like glass! Please look at photos closely. This paint job is wild and not for all. This is the only one I have every done anything like this on. It is about 25"w x 20"d x 51'h The bottom flares out a extra 1" on the front and sides. It is Chrome and White Porcelain tile. It has several cracked or chipped tiles. The right side has 2. The front has 4,left side has 6. top 1. The inside has damage tiles also but I did not count them you can see the damage on the doors in the pictures. The bottom front has a piece that pulls of to access the drain tray. I do not have that tray. I have spoke to many Collectors and these are very rare. I believe this to be from the 1948 model, it had the butter compartment in the inside of the front door similar to the ad in picture 11, and this ad was from a 1948 Life Magazine. Picture 9 is the same compartment layout and identical freezer door as the one this freezer door came out of, but does not have the butter dish in the door, and I believe it to be a little later model of NF-8. Antique 'Odorless ' Refrigerator - Keyser Mfg. Co.
This is a great conversation piece that my mother bought in an antique store about 35 years ago in Alabama. The antique refrigerator was originally made and sold around 1900 by the Keyser Mfg. Co. in Chattanooga. Tn. The refrigerator measures 31" across, 23" deep and 50" high. It's very heavy and I'll be happy to assist with loading it into your vehicle if local pickup is the shipping method. As far as shipping goes, I will not be responsible in any way for shipping it. I can wrap it with Bubble wrap or a blanket, but buyer will have to arrange to have a freight company pick it up. I would estimate that it weighs more than 150 lbs. but I honestly don't know. I have a dolly to use for loading it. I hope the eventual buyer will love this as much as we did throughout the years. we used it as a bar.

Here is a lot of 3 vintage glass refrigerator boxes. Two of them are identical and say"Food Saver" on the lid and one is larger and has vegetables embossed on the lid. The pair measures 3.5" square and is 3" tall. The larger of the trio measures 4.5" square and is 3.25" tall. The last photo shows a slice off the large box and photo#5 shows the small chip on the lid of one of the smaller ones. There are no cracks& no repairs. I do not know the exact manufacturer but they could be Pyrex or Anchor Hocking/Fire King. I do not see that they are marked with a makers mark anywhere. Email with any questions. Now its time to start passing some of these items along to other collectors. This featured item! The GE Monitor top refrigerator is perhaps the most recognized of vintage refrigerators. Built on the principal of a French industrialist concept for a hermetically sealed refrigeration system. The first models available to the general public, for residential use, were introduced in 1927. General Electric committed $18 million dollars to the manufacturing of these units and another million dollars to advertise them to the public. With a price tag of only $300, these first models were considered“the first affordable refrigeration units” for the average family. Many utility ... morecompanies offered the GE Monitor Top refrigerator to their customers for as little as $10 a month, simply added to their monthly utility bill. This is a 1930’s GE Globe top. Model# CG-1-B16. It is all original, and comes complete as shown in the pictures. I have plugged it in, and got the interior temp to 34 degrees. There is a start stop switch on the front. I do not know the purpose of this switch. When I plug it in, it turns on, and runs just fine. It cools down to about 34 degrees. I left it plugged in, and checked after about 24 hours, and it was shut off. I pushed the start stop switch, and it started up again, and cooled off. Is this something that is supposed to be done on a daily basis? I do not now. I really don’t know why there is a start stop switch. Perhaps some of you out there know why. I believe that it is a salesmans sample because the weight at roughly 13 pounds makes it likely not a childs toy but I am not certain. It has wear on the paint but is most ly free of dents and dings and appears to be pretty complete. They are quite rare and even more rare for one to have the handles and icebox.
