This was made in the early to mid 1920's and features a cool art deco design as evidenced by the stamped patterns and ornate metalwork present on the piece. This toaster is in overall great condition. It has a few areas where the chrome has peeled. Along with a few scratches, but that's really it. It has been cleaned up pretty well but remains a little dirty on the inside near the heating elements. All of the bakelite handles and knobs are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. This early 20th century. Open sided, Speed-Master Model 680 toaster was manufactured by Son-Chiel Electrics of Winsted Connecticut. Features two drop down doors on the sides. We did plug it in and the heating elements did still work. Original detachable cloth cord does have a frayed spot at the plug, but it appears that the wiring itself is intact. Closed it measures 11-3/4" by 5-3/4" and stands 7-1/2" tall. Please note: On international shipments. Buyer will be responsible for any and all customs fees/duties.

Offered for your consideration is an antique toaster made from tin and designed to be used with a wood burning or cast iron stoves. Later when some of the stoves were converted to gas or oil or electricity. And before the electric toaster, these tin toasters were still used. Toaster toasts up to four slices of bread at a time. Toaster measures about 5” tall. 6 ¾” square, and appears to be in fairly nice condition, with no major dents, dings, or problems as a result of misuse. There is rust and oxidation present. Antique Toaster - General Electric - Hotpoint
This is a genuine old toaster. It was made by the General Electric Appliance Company. I do not see a date on it. But I believe it is from the 1920's- 1930's? It belonged to my Great Grandmother and I'm 41 yoa! It does still work. The sides come down to load your toast. The plug and cord are frayed. It does not appear to be safe to have plugged in, but it is very nostalgic looking. It is in good condition. It does have some rusting and has an aged look. It is approximately 7" tall and 6 1/2" wide at the base. The cord is 68" long. Please email any questions.

There are no cracks or chips or holes to any parts, nothing bent-warped-or broken, no si g ni ficant or large dents. Th ere is surface rust as evident on piece. Piece should be considered as an antique historical Americana primitive cookware piece for collection and display and probably not considered for/as a usable cooking implement due to its age. A light coat of natural oil has been applied to surfaces to feed and preserve metal. Nice piece of Americana primitive cookware for kitchen& hearth display. smoke/pet free home. Thank you. New Art Deco Chrome Toast-O-Lator Automated Toaster Electric Antique Vintage Art Deco chrome and bakelite Toast-O-Lator Mdel J toaster. Originating in the 1930s as the Crocker Wheeler Electric MFG. Co. They later became the Toast-O-Lator Co. Inc in the mid'40s. This toaster is a Model J. The toaster has a unique mechanism with the bread being placed in the toaster on the right side. The bread then moves according to the setting of light to dark i.e. light will go through quickly and the dark setting will move slower. The bread is moved through on a conveyor type bars. The timing is controlled by a silent accurate electric motor. The exclusive Wind-O-Spy, on bot sides, enables you to watch the bread ... moremove by as it is being toasted. At the left end of the toaster the bakelite base is rounded so the toast can drop down and out. The akelite has no cracks or breaks or repairs and just needs a good cleaning. The chrome is in wonderful condition except for a couple of small rust spots seen in closeups. I have not cleaned or polished it. The original cloth cord is in excellent condition. ANTIQUE UNIVERSAL E9410 SWEETHEART TOASTER * LANDERS, FRARY & CLARK * NOUVEAU
We found this in the basement today. Wrapped in early 1930's newsprint. Here I have an early RARE UNIVERSAL ART NOUVEAU toaster. E 9410 The toaster was made by the Landers. Frary& Clark Co. which traces its routes back to 1853, when Landers& Smith were making cupboard latches and hardwares. Around 1862 The company became Landers. Frary& Smith and lasted for about another 100 years. This is a UNIVERSAL" SWEETHEART" swing open push button door toaster. Which according to the information I was able to find, was made about 1928, with an original cost of $10.00! I tried both push buttons and they do open the doors. However they need a little help closing, I would imagine that it just needs oil. The" bread racks" could use a good cleaning as could some heat black marks and light surface oxidation to the heavy" ... morechromed" base and housing. I am not sure if the cord I found with this is original to it. As it is marked" HATFIELD" but it does fit, and for the brief time I plugged it in both sides lit up RED. The braided cord also has a tag around it marked" Underwriters Laboratories" So I am not sure if it was a replacement. One of the hanging" tear drop" handles does have some melt marks on it. Antique Vintage Miracle Electric Toaster Chicago, Ill USA
I am unsure of this old toasters age. It was made by the Miracle Electric Co. out of Chicago. There is rust and 3 of the black attachment pieces on the flipouts are missing. The cord is frayed. So, I did not dare take a chance plugging it on, still a neat old piece. Any questions, please ask.

Antique Dominion Flip Flop Toaster, Style 48, Works! Mica Filament-Nickel
This fine example of early kitchen appliances actually works.heats really fast and really hot! The heat element inside it is made of mica. The Art Deco design appears to be nickel or chrome plating over the steel body of this piece. You must decide which, because I don't know for sure. The finish is very shiny, with a few edge scrapes and some leftover kitchen grease(possibly removable with more elbow grease) and the two wooden handles at the ends have lost most of their original jadeite green paint. The handles on the flop down sides are made of leather, attached with brass rivets. The original cord is in excellent condition, no frays or problems, cloth covered, black with red accent threads. The interior is clean if you want to actually use it. Please note that the bottom shows flakes of the chrome or nickel plating that have come off, ... moreas well as the original metal label. The logo shows a domino and reads"Depndable Domino" Style 48, Patent No. 1,105,230, Volts 110-120, Watts 550, Dominion Electrical Mfg. Co. Minneapolis, Minn. Measurements: 7 1/2" tall. It has a 52" cord and does work although I wouldn't recommend usage, the cord is very old, original to the toaster. Antique Dominion 2 Sided Electric Toaster Bakelite Cord W/Switch & Wood Handles
This Antique/Vintage 2 sided toaster measures a bit over 7" long at the wood handles by a bit over over 7 1/4" tall by a bit over 7 1/2" wide at the bottom. The heating element on 1 side has came apart but may be fixable. The Bakelite cord is in excellant condition without burns or frays& has a on/off switch it has Electricord& 5A-250V. UND LAB INSP, 10A-125V stamped on the sides, on the bottom is the maker name& 4 wood feet. I didn't try it with the element apart but the cord does work on other items it does have some mild rust in spots& needs a mild cleaning. ANTIQUE "30'S" CHROME AND BAKELITE SUNBEAM TOASTER, MODEL T-9 ART DECO
I have this nice little antique Sunbeam half round top toaster. Model T-9 for sale. It is chrome and bakelite and in working and clean condition. As you can see in all the pictures it is in really good condition for being over 70 years old, there are some minor scuffs and scratches, the cord is in very good condition and the one handle that lowers the bread works fine. You can see lots of our reflections in it, so you can tell it is nice and shiny.6nbsp; The button on one end is to adjust the light or dark of toast and there is a button on the other to keep toast warm or pop it up. When your toast is done, the coils turn off and toast stays down till you pop it up or you set the end button to pop up, if it is set to warm it stays down and keeps it warm. I don't think we have any toasters built like these days. It was a classic in it's ... moretime and made to last as you can tell. In the one picture it shows the coils are all working, they look pink, but are red.also a picture shows the glass jewel light on the front is working and glows red when toasting. There is a pop open door on the bottom for easy cleaning out the crumbs from the inside. This is a very nice looking and working little toaster, would make a nice display on your counter or shelf. I am throwing in the cute little cotton old toaster cover that came with it.This little gem probably cost around $25.00 in the 30's and was quite a luxury at that time. Vintage Antique Sunbeam 1920's - 30's Toaster - Art Deco
Excellent vintage antique art deco 1920's- 30's Sunbeam electric flip-flop toaster that works with the original fabric cord. The toaster measures 11 1/2" by 6" by 4" tall in it's folded position. The 2 bakelite handles and 4 feet are in excellent condition. The electric coil heats 2 slices of bread. 1 side at a time and then it can be flipped over for the other side. The 4 legs have a tapered art deco design. The top of the plug housing is incised"Sunbeam- NO. 4- PAT. NO. 1465007- VOLTS 110-120- WATTS 660" The cord plug is embossed"LEVITON" The cloth cord is not frayed and is usable. Excellent condition and patina- No dents. Nicks, scratches, missing or broken parts. Item is described and shown as best I can. Please ask your questions prior to bidding. Buyer to pay postage and insurance.
