Up for your consideration are several pieces of hardware and name plate that came off the door of a Yorlco Machinery Co.commercial ice box. HEAVY DUTY. The hinges are about 1/8" thick. They measure 17 3/4 X 4" at the widest point. There is a piece broke off on the handle(see last photo) but it functions. There is surface wear and minor pitting on the pieces. Estate find. Vintage mid century polished aluminum ice bucket with a pyrex-like milk glass material on the inside that has a rubber seal between the aluminum and the milk glass pyrex. It has a awesome mechanism lever handle that opens the bucket in any position when pushed. The ice-bucket is 7-1/4" in diameter. The height is 11" to the top of the handle. Would clean up some although do not know to what extent. The undersides nickel plate condition closer to original. Marked as a 9/16 inch offset. In other words. Door reveal extended 9/16 of an inch from cabinet or box jamb face. Many other possible repurpose uses in cabinet or furniture renovations or repairs. These measure slightly under 4 x 2 inches. Included is a catch that looks to be original but I am not sure. The hinges and catch have the same 3/8 offset and the hinges are marked 3?8 on their backs. Handle operates latch to lift for disengagement although I am also not sure if this had a spring at some point. Works nicely with gravity without one. All solid cast brass manufacture except backplate. You will have to find a key or have on made to lock your door since there is no key. Vintage Heavy Silverplate Covered Ice Bucket Vacuum Insulated Glass Insert Hinged Lid Two Tone This is a vintage silverplate ice bucket with a vacuum insulated insert. It is beautifully inscribed along the sides. It stands 8 inches to the cover and 13.5 inches to the top of the handle. Two-tone as it has brass handles and a hinged lid which fits snuggly on the piece. There are no cracks or breaks on the insert and no nicks or dents on the piece that I have seen. There is some plate loss on the outside of the insert that is expected and common for its age. It does not detract at all. See pictures. Sleek and modern looking. This is a group of 4 hinges and 2 latches with the catches for the latches all the pieces are nickel plated cast brass for a Lig-O-Nier antique refrigerator or ice box. Lig-O-Nier made Refrigerators(for grocery stores) Ice Boxes, and Cupboards from about the 1880's to the early 1900's. The hinges and latches with catches still have 85% to 95% of their nickel plating still on them.They do have some spots of paint on them in crevasses that will need to be finish cleaned. They had some more paint on them when I got them I was able to clean most of the paint by letting the hinges soak in hot water and remove the paint with a finger nail.They look and display well.
