Primative Antique Metal Ash Bucket. Large!!!!!
Here is a much used metal(bronze&brass) primative metal buck dating back to the 1800's. There are no markings but one can see it's been used often for removing ash from a working woodstove. Measuring 6.5"H(not including handle) X 10.5" W. The bottom is"bellied" out. With it's rat tail handles you can see the 2 screw welds on each side, inside& out. It does need a good shining if you like. Not being very familar w/these I choose not to bring out it's former luster. Being"sold as is" we request you notify us within 72hrs. Vintage Coal Bucket Ash Scuttle Pail Fireplace Galvanized Metal Bucket Pour Handle This listing is for a vintage coal bucket with a pour handle. These old buckets were used for carrying coal. Wood and ashes to and from the fireplace. It has both a carrying handle on top and a back handle for lifting and pouring. The galvanized metal scuttle pail is approx. 16 ½” x 13” x 10” The metal bucket is painted an antique white which has a few chips in the paint primarily around the top edges giving it a charming primitive look. There is a sailboat decal on each side. One side has a couple missing pieces. It would easy to remove if you wanted a more primitive look. There is a couple of spots of light surface rust on the inside bottom. You can expect the normal dents and dings consistent with its age and usage. AUTHENTIC Antique Large Fireside Coal-Kindling Bucket. Beautiful size with two Delft blue-white handles and lions heads on each side of the handle mounts. This one is very good shape. No punctures or leaks and dents noted but it does need polishing and buffing it you want to return it to a lustered shiny state. It is large measuring 13" tall, 16" Base up to tip of the handle, 16" front lip to back handle, 12" wide, 10 1/2" wide top inside. One Delft handle has a very slight chip(1/8" or less) out of the surface white glaze, not noticeable, and does not affect the structural aspects of the handle in any way. The bottom diameter is 6-1/2" ~ the bottom handle is stationary but the upper handle and bail does of course move up and downward. This beautiful bucket has very nice ornate lions heads that attach to the handles. The bottom half has a hammered texture. It has a few spots. Etc, but I do not see any dents. The bucket measures 14" tall to the top of the handle, 14" from the back handle to the front lip and is about 10.5" from lion head to lion head. It is LARGE! You can see from the pictures this bucket has a great patina and dents and dings from being used. This was not a decorative piece, someone used this a lot! This would also make a nice planter. Vintage Brass/Copper Ash Bucket w/Beautiful Branch Style Legs & Leaf Motif
Very unique brass and copper ash bucket made by a very talented and skilled artisian/smith. I've seen quite a few ash buckets. But none with the details of this bucket. Legs to imitate branches and leaf motive to make it even more beautiful. Inspect closely the one-piece ribbed band around the bucket that perfectly meets on the underside of the bucket. The band is secured in place by overlay of material and rivets were used to attach the handles. I don't know the history of this bucket, but I'm sure it's very, very interesting. To me, it looks like a piece that was commissioned along with fireplace tools by a well to do family. Another unusual fact: It weights 6 lbs. and is perfectly balanced. Ash Container with Inside Bucket
A decent shaped ash can. It is 24" tall and 12" by 12" square. Included is the inside bucket with handle to life out of the container to take outside to empty the ashes. The lid works and the outside can is in good shape. It has three claw like feet that are a little rusty. Metal is good without dents. The inside can is in good shape but is dented in the corners and has a couple of holes in the corners. Neat addition to a fireplace!

Offering a vintage ash– coal- scuttle bucket with American Eagle& Flag. Item is 15” tall in front and 13 ½” tall in back. With the steel swing handle up it is 21” There is also a stationary handle on the backside. All parts attract a magnet. Rolled steel is my best guess. Handles were originally brass plated but are showing much wear. Obviously used and showing surface oxidation as pictured though no rust through anywhere. I am not an expert of anything I sell. This is a vintage coal or ash scuttle/bucket with a wooden handle. It measures 16 1/2" x approx. 12" x 12" tall at the narrow end and a little over 10" at the opposite end. It has the look of brass but a magnet sticks to it; in fact. It has some surface rust, most of which is near the bottom and on the underside. It also has some spots of rust on the body. It is painted a flat black inside. I don't know its age.
