Nice Large Vintage Coleman 426D 426 D 3 Burner Camp Camping Stove w/Box !!
Hi: For your consideration here is a nice vintage pre-owned Coleman 426D 3-burner camping stove! This large stove measures 28 3/8" long. 13 1/2" wide and about 5 3/4" tall. This pre-owned stove has been well cared for, but does show light scuffs, scratches, a bit of paint loss, and one dent on the back(6th photo right of center) There is also some light corrosion/surface rust in the cooking area as seen best in the second photo. The tank was fully pressurized when we received it, and the pressure pump and flame adjustment lever seem to work well. In the 7th photo it looks like the right lid hinge is bent but it is not. The lid has some play in it(as designed) and we did not have the lid quite on center when taking the photos. This stove comes with its original box, but no paperwork, and the box has been taped and is a bit tattered ... morewith one side end flap missing. A great vintage Coleman stove in nice condition! This is a very cool looking stove. This would be especially nice for the lady camper. 1960's Coleman stove that still works nicely. This is a one burner stove. It is an unusual Salmon/Pink color. It is really unique. All in all this is in quite nice condition considering its age. It has a very nice metal carry handle for easy transport. This stove measures 4 x 7 x 12 inches. This is an Antique Cast Iron 3 Burner Gas/ Propane Camp/ Cook/ Canning Stove measuring 27 1/4" long by 12 1/4" wide& 6" high. It is marked underneath- 25AS-878A. I acquired this Stove from an older gentleman who told me that his mother used to use this Stove all the time when she would do her canning with several neighbor ladies- out in the barn! He told me that as far as he knows. The Stove works just fine. It is in Excellent Vintage condition- Very Stout- has just light surface rust that will easily remove with a bit of sanding& quite a bit of the original Black paint still remains on the underside. An additional embellishment would be the three White Porcelain Knobs which move smoothly. This Stove also comes with it's original corrugated metal Hose Connector& can be used with gas or propane by changing out ... morethe Brass Orifice at the end of the Black Tube in front of the White Knobs. When it comes to dating these stoves, the A-1940 doesn't come up as often as the later, A" 40, first quarter 1940, was when Coleman started producing the 500 Speedmaster. This is an excellent original example, not tampered with or painted too make it look presentable. I've had this in my collection a long time. Serviced when I acquired it awhile back, nos generator, fuel cap gasket, and valve packing, ran a tank of fuel through it, works great. Tank is clean. This is a 1950s Coleman stove is good condition. The tank is clean and in great shape and the top is in good shape there is some rust but no breaks! The brass is good and you can even read the original Coleman logo on the brass. It hasn't been lit in a while but it will work. I said in the title it was 300 and you can't really read it because where it was sitting it had a little dust on it, I cleaned it and the cleaner took some of the print off. Overall great find! A very unique piece of historical camping equipment. Stopple Kook-Kit Co. had developed a product that was ahead of its time by condensing a camping set into one storage unit. Per Alma MI historian. The Stopple Kook Kit Co. was in existence sometime between 1910-1918. The kit was developed for use by the Boy Scouts and hunters. This unit appears to have never been used around a fire. Item: A vintage portable Harper Beatrice stove or cooker which stands 9.5 inches high. The circular base measures 6.75 inches in diameter. The top part unclips and tilts to access the wick. It is in good condition without damage or repair. The green paint has lifted in places as shown in the pictures. In full working order. All my items are very well packaged to arrive safely. THIS IS A COLEMAN FUEL TANK THAT IS IN WORKING CONDITION AND IN OVERALL EXCELLENT CONDITION. THERE IS A LITTLE BUBBLING ON ONE OF THE TABS AND SOME PAINT LOSS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE TANK. BUT THAT'S ABOUT THE ONLY THING OF ANY CONCERN. THE PUMP MECHANISM DOES PUMP AIR JUST FINE AND IT HOLDS ITS AIR PRESSURE LIKE IT SHOULD. IT WILL FIT A 413 SIZE STOVE AND THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE TABS FROM CENTER TO CENTER IS APPROXIMATELY 8 INCHES. THIS IS A 9 OUT OF 10 IN MY BOOK, AND THE NICEST ONE I'VE HAD FOR A WHILE.
