This auction is for a great antique bathtub faucet assembly.This is being offered as it was found in the estate. This was salvaged from an old building here in PA. It is in nice condition for its age. And is a heavy metal fixture with old porcelain handles. It measures 21" from the fitting to the top of the handle and it is 11" on center from the hot and cold supplies. The center drain pipe is 2" in diameter and has the original insert with the original porcelain cap. A magnet does not stick to any of the metal, so I assume it is old nickel plated brass. Some of the brass is actually showing through. It even has the original brass escutcheons.This has some light blue metallic paint with some wear. Not sure if this was the original color or not. Has a few normal wrench marks on the nuts, and some normal spotting and light crazing ... moreon the handles, but it just adds to the piece.The handles turn freely and appear to seal well. Antique Cast-Iron Enamel Tulip-Pedestal Tub
This graceful cast-iron. Enamel bathtub stands on an enclosed, attached pedestal giving it a tulip shape that would add elegance to any luxury bathroom. Sourced from a 1920s bungalow near Denver's Stapleton district, this tub graced the bath of a house that was the hub of a small dairy farm, according to elderly neighbors. Removed for renovation of the bath, the tub is in very good condition without dings or significant scratches except for a worn spot in the enamel near the drain(see foto) probably due to a persistent drip. Exterior finish is believed to be original. Size is standard 60 in. long, and 31 in. wide including the curved lip. Gently sloping back would make for slow, relaxed bathing. Antique Wringer Beautiful old antique"Blue Grass" wringer washing machine. Wringer is made of wood wirh cast iron parts and rubber wringers. On one side of the piece is written"Blue Grass- It's All in the Rubber" Incorporated Louiseville Ky" with the name of the company above it- it is very faint- all I can read is Belk. Co. The other side of the piece reads"Blue Grass Rolls 10 x 1 3/4 Inches" The rollers are tan rubber. They are very dry and cracked. The tub mounting clamps are in tact and in working order. Up for sale is a 1921 STANDARD Cast Iron Double Basin Laundry Sink/Tub. Cast iron with a porcelain finish. You will notice that it has chip in the bottom of the right sink. Along with some scratches next to it in the same area, a couple on the upper right side where I assume a bolt on shelf was mounted and on one the back splash to the right side. All and all for the age of the sink it is in very good condition, lots of years left on this one. I have lightly sand blasted the bottom and back side of the under neath and gave it new coat of auto enamel with a hardener in it. The sink as you see it weights about 325# It is 53" long x 25" wide x 22" high wo/legs and 39" high w/legs. The legs are removable. Just acquired out of the Historic Old West End in Toledo. Ohio, we are able to offer this original, early 1900's Claw Foot Tub faucet with a sunflower porcelain shower head. The faucet is extremely high quality, quite heavy, and signed ~ ROYAL BRASS WORKS CLEVELAND OHIO- PATENTED. This unusual claw foot bathtub faucet is fairly large as well, it measures approximately 8 1/2 inches wide" at the back area with the plumbing" 7 inches across, center hole, to center hole and weighs over 5 pounds. The handle measures 5 1/4 inches long by about 1 1/2 inches across at the largest end. The over all condition is pretty decent with some expected wear from age and use. The porcelain handle does have some cracks, but appears to be very stable and solid. I believe just some white paint would be fine. The sunflower shower head looks like it ... moremay be newer than the faucet and possibly. It measures 6 5/8 inches acoss and weighs just over two pounds, with a swivel head. It is a very fine quality shower head, that appears ready to hook up and use. Up for bids are four matching heavy cast iron antique claw feet for an antique cast iron free standing bathtub. They are all in good solid condition with no cracks or breaks to the cast iron and just need cleaned a little bit more and repainted. One has a few casting flaws that could be filled in before painting or could just be put on the back side of the tub. I don't know the maker but there are some serial numbers on the back side of the feet. The feet stand 7 1/2" high from top to bottom. This antique Tub Faucet is aged and worn but has a beautiful patina and porcelain hot& cold knobs. The chrome has been worn off in places down to the brass. And there are old wrench marks on the valve cover. The rubber gaskets have been replaced. However it has not been installed or tested. It comes with two replacement black plastic tub nuts(partially visible on the back of the faucet) This would be a perfect addition to a historic house. Or just add character and style to your home. It can be used with or without the small spout attacment(this originally would have allowed for the addition of the hose for a hand held sprayer) Which ever look you like more- the 3rd photo shows it without attachment. This item is from an old estate that was located in south east Kansas during the coal mining years. I DO NOT HAVE ANY DOCUMENTATION TO PROVE THIS. AUCTIONEER QUOTE ONLY. The size of these huge legs are 8" tall and 5 1/2" wide approx. Their outer image is in excellent shape and condition. The talon is very outstanding and easily seen. The tops on the legs have the scallop curtain swag look with a 3 D look/border midway down on the leg. These are the hard ones to find. PLEASE BE ADVISE(one on the legs) the part that supports the bath tub needs to be repaired.This can be done with brazing or nickel rod welding. These cast iron legs weight close to 20 lbs. Antique 1920's Dexter Double Wood Barrel Tub Washing Washer Machine Old RARE
This is an Antique Dexter Belt Driven Washing Machine With Double Wooden Tubs From The 1910-1920's Era. I'm not exactly sure of the age of this machine. I found similar ones on a washing machine museum web site that were made by Dexter in 1910& 1917. It appears this machine was belt driven because of the pulley that is mounted on the back of it which means you hooked it up to a gasoline powered engine that drove the pulley and. Through gears, spun the agitators. It looks like one tank was used to wash and the other to rinse as they both have agitators. The wringer appears to be missing unless it didn't have one to begin with. This is a cool old machine and both wooden tubs hold water just fine. They also have valves that can be opened to empty them when you're done washing for the day. You might be able to get this to ... morework with a little oil and determination but I can't imagine using it. It would make a much better display and conversation piece. I am saving the best for the last. Here is a great old Galvanized Steel Wash Tub which is approximately from 1950. I purchased this at an estate sale years ago from an old defunct winery located in the city of Fontana. California. I purchased all they had and have had this treasure trove on display in my patio until recently when my wife decided to redecorate. This is a good size tub and stands 10 1/2 inches tall and is approximately 20 inches across at the top opening and is 17 inches across at the base. It's fairly heavy and weighs over 6 pounds. If one looks close at the photos. One can see that this basin will leak and is very corroded. Has been banged around and used for decades and this use only lends to its authentic antique rustic appearance.

UP for your concideration I have listed for auction: A set of 4 Cast Iron Ealgle Claw adjustable feet for a cast iron tub. These are perfect for cast iron tub restoration/replaceing old ones.I'm not sure if these will fit all cast iron tubs or not.I will leave this up to the experts. They are in pretty good solid shape but will need some elbow grease to clean. Chipped paint and rust.They have NO cracks in the cast iron and NONE of them are rusted through.The balls on the bottem adjust to height.pretty nice as I never saw tub feet that adjust before. It appears it ran on a flat belt pulley and a stationary engine. This would make a great garden or landscape art fixture. Or use it in an old house. On the farm porch, or in a country farm kitchen. This machine's inside tub has a hole near the bottom edge to attach a ... morehose to drain the water after washing. It most likely ran off a pulley and gas engine system. Remember. Most farm folks didn't have electricity at that time. I have not tried to use it since I don't have a gas engine. I think everything is all there but will leave it up to an expert to check it over for all working parts. I think it may be hard to find a fully functioning washing machine like this nowadays. Most have been thrown in the scrap pile or hauled to the dump. I purchased this at an auction and was going to use it as a primitive conversation piece in an old farmhouse but have decided to pass it on to someone else who could appreciate and enjoy its quaint function. Here is an American Standard alcove tub from 1959. It is in'Regency Blue' with a left-hand drain. It is in good overall condition with minimal rust but almost every surface is lightly scuffed/scratched. The floor's enamel is worn with the remaining outlines of tread stick-on shells ... morefrom the previous owner. There are a few spots on the interior where the enamel is scratched, and there are a few small chips here and there throughout. Please check out the photos for condition. The drain hole has a little bit of rust showing but not much. A rust sealer should keep it from spreading prior to installation. The overflow hole shows a bit of cracking in the enamel, though that should be covered by the overflow assembly. There is a large chip on one of the edges. Though this should be covered by tile once installed(see pics) This isn't cosmetically perfect, but it's a well-used survivor. If you can live with some cosmetic imperfections and wear, then this is a great tub! Antique Vintage 'Chase' Bath Tub Drain Overflow Assembly 1930's
Here is a very cool and unique old complete'Chase' tub overflow/drain assembly. This was removed from a home that was built in the 1930's. This has an internal stopper. And it's controlled by a lever that moves from side to side. All components are brass. Both the drain flange and strainer have lost most of their plating. But the strainer has a very unique design that I've never seen before(very Deco) The waste shoe has some dings on it from removal, but it is not cracked or distorted(pic 12) The overflow cover plate houses the lever. And both are fairly scratched/scuffed from years of cleaning. The lever itself does have some dings and there is one small gouge on the overflow cover plate(pics 4-8) The action on the lever is nice and smooth, there looks to be a spring-loaded pin that runs against a guide to give it a little ... morebit of drag. It just feels well-made! The set will be broken down into components for shipment. There are no rubber gaskets included. And I would also recommend replacing the packing at all of the compression joints. Antique Vintage American Standard Tub Faucet with Spout 1920's
Here is a nice old'Standar d' tub valve and spout. This was removed from a 19 20's-era home. The handles appear to be replacements(probably 1940's or so) The ori ginals would have been porcelain cross-handle pieces. The spout has a porcelain escutcheon and a trim ring with set screw that keeps it tight to the wall. The finish on the spout. And original trim are more like a nickel color, while the finish on the handles is more like a bright chrome. All of the porcelain pieces are in excellent shape with no chips or cracks. There are a few small spots of discoloration but overall they are very nice. The handles have scratched/gouged caps. But they are fairly clean with good shine. They are cast zinc. Both stems open and close freely. The stems and escutcheon ferrules are slightly scuffed with spots of missing plating, see photos ... morefor condition. The spout has mis sing plating all over. As well as some gouges and scratches here and there. The brass nipple will remain in the spout. I' ll leave the choice of removing it up to yo u. All of the shiny bits on this faucet would benefit from a re-plate. But you could certainly use as is if you don't mind lots of patina! The original cast iron mou nting bracket i s included. The set will be broken down into components for shipment. Up for sale is a set of Antique Porcelain Faucet Cross Handles Hot/ Cold/ Waste. They are in great condition. The porcelian is in great condition. Only a few small hairline cracks on the back next to the nickel plated brass mount, the nickel plating is in great condition also. The Lettering on the handles is excellant. The handles are 3 1/4" across and stand 2" tall. The inside of the mounts are 3/8" square with a tapered hole for a set screw in the shaft.
