They are offset ... morehinges with a 3/8 inch offset. The back is marked 358 and 7/16. The larger plate is 2 3/8 inches by 2 1/8 inches wide. The smaller plate is 1 3/8 inches by 2 5/16 inches wide. The brass is 3/16 inch thick. These hinges are tarnished and have a thin layer of black finish in some areas. This may be soot. Tarnish, or paint. It scrapes off with my fingernail. There is some rust on the steel hinge pins. This is a really pretty pattern.

They have quite a bit of character I am guessing they came off a side by side double door chest. Nice for reuse on a number of different possiblities for your next project or renovation. Hinges look to have a 3/8 inch offset and all operate smoothly for reuse. These look like they would clean up quite a bit although I did not want to destroy the patina and thought I would let the new owner decide. This ice box has over 20 hand carved pieces on the two front doors, nice detailed lion head carvings and two large paw feet. All of these carvings were hand made by highly skill woodworkers in the 1890's. The columns on the sides are really nice oak rope carvings that are below each lion head and extends down to the top of each paw foot. Underneath the top ledge are unusual oak trim with heart style carvings on all three sides. The bevelled mirror is in great shape, no chips, scratches or hazeThis ice box is solid oak and has never been painted before. A lot of the ice boxes that you see listed were painted before and when finished, they have a washed out appearance from the paint still present in the grain of the wood. This ice box has a beautiful smooth finish and a rich color to it. You will not be disappointed one bit with this item. This is stamped with a number of codes but the major ones features the makers name along with mold number, which is: Iron Art JM280 SCOOP. The overall size of this large mold is 28.5" tall, 13" across and 2.5" deep with a weight of 18.7 pounds. With this much weight, I'm thinking this is made of lead instead of aluminum but I'm probably wrong.

Up for bid is a n Antique 194 0s to 1950s V intage 9.5"inch Pi ke Ice Fishing Wooden Spearing Decoy in original vintage condition and found here in Northe rn Michigan. It is brick red in co lor and t he maker is unknown but it was in a collection of very collectible decoys I found recently. It is missing some of the original paint and it has a beautiful patina and the tail is chipped. The fins a re all made out of old tin and the gills of the decoy have carved lines with a curved tail. Antique Primitive Premax Steel Ice Fishing Rod and Reel
Beautiful Rod and Reel straight out of the falling down. Old garage at a country estate sale, we bring you this wonderful old fishing treasure. It's an old(1920's to 1940's era) PREMAX of Niagara Falls. New York rod and reel combo. The 4 1/2" diameter reel is spooled with a thick cotton line. The rod features a double wood handle with grooves for good grip and a red rubber butt. Both eyelets on the metal rod are fine. Straight from an estate sale comes this very nice antique ice fishing decoy. The decoy is in great condition for it's age and has a wonderful vintage patina. It is made of wood. Here is a rare wood handle seven tine cast iron ice fishing spear. The spear is 80 inches long. Weighs about 3 pounds and has a hole in the handle for a safety strap. The man who had this used it on Black Lake Michigan. People go to Black Lake for Stuggeon so, the spear might have been used for that. This is the largest spear I have seen around here and the tips are still very sharp. I wanted to hang it over the fire place but, I couldn't talk my wife into that. A very nice display piece or still can be used spearing.

Antique Steel& Brass Ice Fishing Tip Up Tripod Antique Ice Fishing Tip Up or Tripod made from Steel& Brass. There are no manufacturers markings that we can find on this tip-up. How it works: The spring-loaded flag arm hooks to the pin on the bottom of the tripod's head. The line is then wrapped once or twice around the flag arm and when something pulls on the line the flag arm is pulled off the pin and the spring pops the flag up. The entire head. Reel, crank arm and flag assembly are solid brass. The reel crank arm is pinned to the reel. The legs are steel. The tripod stands about 22" tall to the top of the flag. The bottom of the reel sits about 14" above the ice. The Tripod will straddle a 15" hole. This tip up is in good working condition. The reel turns freely and the legs pivot easily. The flag pop-up mechanism ... moreworks well. The flag material is quite worn though and would need to be replaced before fishing with this tip-up. There is some light rust on the legs and some wobble to them where they are pinned to the brass head. If the legs were set ½"1" into the ice before use this tripod would be quite sturdy and capable of handling almost any fish. There is about 20' or so of heavy black cord on the reel. ANTIQUE HAND CARVED FROG SPEARING DECOY ICE FISHING LURE
Very old hand made frog spearing decoy. Was made in early 1900's by a man from the Spirit Lake. Iowa area. I purchased it from the the grand daughter of this man. She said that it was used to attract those large northern pike within spearing distance. Approximately 6" long. Weighs 5 ounces. Main body is wood and front legs are tin. Eyes are metal and there is a barbed hook mounted on each leg. These are attached with nails and fine copper wire. The copper wire is missing on one leg, so the attached hook is a bit loose. There is a eye hook on top for attaching line and bottom belly is lead weighted. There is some rusting on tin legs and barbed hooks. Also, some age wear to paint. Has been sitting on a shelf for some time and it is now time for a new owner. Email with any questions and thank you for looking.

The owner being in his late 70's said his father made it and fished Keweenaw Bay off of Lake Superior for trout. It could have been used in the open water jigging straight down for fish. For bid is this used Vintage Antique 7 Tine Fishing Spear Trident use for spear fishin and ice fishin. I do not know much about the spear. I have a few i will be listing, i found them in our old horse barn. This spear has 7 tines and it looks like the points might need to be sharpened. On the top of the spear there is a threaded part where you would screw your handle on, it looks to be about 1/2" across as you see in picture 3. The spear is about 7 3/4" wide, from the longest tine point to the top where the handle would screw on is about 17 5/8" long, and Im not sure of the age or make. Very Rare Find! Pflueger Goldenwest Ice Fishing Pole and Reel. I believe the 3831 number on one side of the reel is the model number but more exciting is the"Patented Feb 10. 1903- Jan 22, 1907" engraved on the reel which can be seen clearly with the help of a magnifying glass. On the other side of the reel is the bulldog logo trademark for Pflueger Goldenwest. The reel works great. The metal pole itself is in great condition whith the exception on the small piece missing at the end of the cork handle. The metal pole with handle measures 24 1/2" Any questions.please email me.

I am only able to read the name on one of the reels that states Fishcrafters. Worchester ma. Unknown if bought or homemade. Unknown exact age but I have been told they are antique. Antique Early 1900s Oak Berkshire Ice Box with Raised Panels & Original Hardware
Beautiful compact Berkshire Antique Oak Ice Box with raised panels on wheels. Exterior completely refinished when purchased. It was stripped and finished with 4 coats of Minwax Antique Wipe-On Varnish. Then handrubbed with 0000 steel wool and paste-wax. Original brass decorative hardware on front. Door handle has a lock. But I've never owned the key and don't know if it functions. The inset handle on the top lid is solid brass. The steel hinges on the lid are original, but obviously not as decorative and the ones on the front. Wheels were missing when purchased and have been replaced. Ice chamber is missing corrugated galvanized panel on which the ice rested. Provision" chamber is missing the wire shelves. Part of the original instruction label is still attached to the lid. It mentions"Sapolio" a very well known cleaning ... moreproduct in widespread use from 1869 to 1939. I found a Sapolio ad from 1924 specifically targeting Ice Box owners. The ornate nature of the hardware leads me to believe the Ice Box is from around 1910. Overall the piece is in very good condition. The measurements are 24" wide x 16" deep and 40 1/2" tall. The ice chamber measures 19" wide x 12" deep x 12" tall. The provision area measures 20" wide x 12" deep and 15 1/2" tall. No reserve. Available for pick-up in Frederick.
