Vintage 1940's Taylor Tot Stroller
This is a super cute vintage Taylor Tot push car. Can also be converted into a walker. This cute little car has a new coat of paint and a chevron fabric covered seat. The red bow can easily be removed. Simply untie. There is a fabric loop on the chair, allows you to hook on toys and not have to worry about them becoming lost. I contemplated painting this item. Some people prefer it in the original state. But honestly. I pushed my little guy around in this buggy/car. The original paint was chipped, and the wood was worn(not damaged, but average wear for the age) I felt better about putting my son in this push car with new paint and fabric. Details. Details, Details, they have all been covered with this Restored Taylor Tot. New hard rock maple seat and new oak handles. All wooden parts have 7 coats of hand rubbed Marine Spar Urethane Finish. All metal parts media blasted and repaired as needed then powder coated Sandalwood Beige, with Sunfire Orange wheels and insert. Pinstriped with Desert Gold and Royal Purple. New clear vinyl bumper covers and new wooden beads. All new stainless steel hardware and machined self oiling bronze bushings on front casters. New wheels and tires. Stroller is late 40's early 50's P-45 from the Frank F. Taylor Company in Ohio. My Grandchildren love theirs as any kid would with a ride this cool.

Vintage 1940's-50's Taylor Tot Stroller (Complete and Rare) American Restoration
Today up for bids is a Rare Taylor Tot Stroller from the 40's or 50's. One of these rare strollers was restored on the TV show"American Restoration" on History Channel last season. Once restored their stroller brought $1.500. This item is complete and original but will need to be restored to be mint as you can tell from the pictures. There are some cracks on the white rubber on the bumpers and the wood seat also has some cracking. The metal pieces are in nice shape and would need a paint job to look new. Features include: 3 position height adjustment front and rear( photos show High and Low positions) Quick adjust reclining seat back, extending back support, bumper on food tray, raised lattice panels, stamped front and rear chassis sheet metal and locking rear wheels. Front chassis is removeable and food tray T-handle is made to accommodate the Pedal Wheels as shown. Use the Zoom feature and have a close look. Tire are not cracked or crazed including the Pedal Wheel. Seat base is solid. And the wheels appear to have seen a little red touch up paint in some decade long gone by, but overall its in wonderful shape. Its also incredibly strong- I have a 35 loud 18 month old boy who hasn't gotten off it in nearly a week, and he bounces and gives it his best and it doesn't make a sound. Its a toy from the age when toys didn't break when played with, and could be passed down to the next generation still intact and ready for use. Vintage Taylor Tot Stroller with Wheel Cowlings 1930-60s Blue and White
This is an intact Taylor Tot stroller from the 1930-60s. This model has Streamlined Wheel Cowlings and all wheels turn and have their rubber. The left rear rubber wheel rim is a little flattened because of the braking mechanism that locks into that wheel. Some of the paint is worn off as pictured. There is a removable metal foot rest and removable push handle. The playbeads are wooden as is the seat. With the handle and foot rest removed these strollers were used by semi-walking children to motivate themselve around like a walker car. The pictures are all of the actual item that we are selling. We will ship the stroller with the push handle removed and folded by the removal of one screw which will be secured back in the empty hole and protected by good packing materials. 1930s TAYLOR TOT BABY STROLLER
This baby stroller is over 75 years old so it does show some rust and use. I know it is from the 1930s because I was born in the late 1930s and I have a picture of myself when I was a baby in a stroller just like this one. The sign on it where it says Taylor Tot is partly missing but enough writing is there to show that it is a Taylor Tot stroller. It has the bumpers in the front and back and the streamline fender skirt wheels. The stroller still has the original paint. But it could be restored. The backrest is adjustable so it can be raised up. It shows rust on the food tray, the foot platform and in a few other places. We are selling this“as is” Please see all of the photos. This item will be in the mail within 5 days of purchase. w w w w I really have no idea about the brand of this old stroller. It looks like a Taylor Tot. But it has a bell, no tray. The front wheels are smaller than the back. Suggesting it is an early model of ... morewhatever brand. There is a clean spot and a little bit of label on the seat. It appears to have been oblong. About 3” x 1” mostly gold with a thin red band around the edge. Sound familiar? If you know the brand. I’d appreciate hearing from you so I can update this listing. Thanks. Depending on the age. This either belonged to my mother(1920s) or to me(1940s) Given the different size tires. I would guess earlier rather than later. While in rough shape. This is salvageable. There are splits in the rubber bumper at top edge. But no pieces are missing. Pieces of the lower bumper are missing. The back tires and front left tires(all hard rubber) are intact; the front right is missing. There is considerable rust and includes some pitting. But it is not bad enough to damage structural integrity. The seat and front bumper under the rubber is a pale blue. The metal seat back was probably a cream color. The good news? The stroller is complete and works as it should. The foot rest tray has minimal surface rust but really.look at the pics and the high gloss of the original paint. No fading. All the ribbed white tubes are there with no cracking whatsoever. They are still soft and pliable. The decals are complete and highly visible. The shellac on the wood handle is shiny with barely any wear. There is typical scratching where the bumpers attach and minor scratching elsewhere. Taylor Tot Baby Stroller Vintage Old 50s Metal Wood Handle Push Bar Bumpers P-45
Very Vintage metal and wood Taylor Tot toddler stroller. Marked on the bottom of the seat as Model P-45. Which dates this to approximately late 1940s or early 1950s. Seems to be all original with the exception of a wing nut and bolt on the mid-section of the handle. Also one of the bumper nuts/bolts looks to have been replaced at some point. Does not look to have been restored at all and there is wear to the bumpers(the rubber has hardened and cracked over time) and also general overall wear, commensurate with age and use. The wood seat appears to have the original paint and the wood is dry and has visible line cracks. Measures approximately 26" long from bumper to bumper. And 18" across at the rear wheels(also from bumper to bumper) The push handle stands approximately 34" off of the ground.
