Antique Wicker Baby Buggie~All Original Condition~I used it as a bassinette
I used this for my daughters when they were babies. They slept inside when they were very little and I could move the Buggy around. It also looks great with the other antique Baby items I have. It is in GREAT shape. The only thing negitive is the rubber wheels have a flat spot. It was parked in one spot too long. But it was like that when I bought it 30 years ago. It still has all the original parts. Even the leather strap and padding and inside upholstry to match. The back adjusts inside for sitting up a child up or laying down. The top Cover adjusts too. Where could you find another in this good of shape? Early 1900's? Note: the first photo shows the color better. It is that creamy mustard color. Vintage Baby Pram Stroller Carriage. Navy Blue & Cream. Mid-Century 1960's.
Travel back in time with this vintage baby pram. It is probably 50 years old but still in good working order. It is collapsible and will fit in a car trunk(we drive a 1994 Ford Taurus and it fits in our trunk) It collapses down to about 39" long. 23" wide, and 20" high. We have one just like it(but green) and have gotten so many compliments and comments on it! People LOVE these old prams/carriages. There are a couple of small tears in the vinyl, particularly in the white/cream hood(see photo) but it is really in very good condition for the age. The shock absorbers are quite effective. VINTAGE PRIMITIVE ~LLOYD LOOM PRODUCTS~ WICKER BUGGY from days of old. This very unique buggy was the cadillac of buggies back in the day. Sturdy metal frame encompassing this old timer. It measures just about 16 1/2” long from front to back of the wicker buggy~9” wide~14” from floor to top of buggy. It is 13 ¼” from the floor to the top of the buggy and 24” all the way to the top of the canopy. There are four wire spoke wheels with one kind of wonky but still there. Still has the original LLOYD metal label inside from Menominnie. Minnesota. This was a fancy buggy back in the day. The wicker around the canopy could use some work and also the wicker at the top of the frame on one end. It actually is in pretty decent condition for its age. Wish I could say the same! One piece of wicker is broken but still present and the'handlebar' has been chewed on, on one end. The canvas top is solid and the folding mechanism works. It has certificate of authenticity that states it is number 214 of a limited editio of 2000 although I believe production only went to about 400(according to the wife of company owner) It is signed by Ron Servant and Bunnie Servant and is in lovely condition and measures about 24 inches long by 22 by 13 inches. Another one of my estate sale Relics. The Buggy is estate fresh and needs a detailed Clening. I have done nothing to clean it. I leave the cleaning to the collectors. The opening measures approx 13 x 28. There is some slight surface rust on the chrome handle which should clean up nicely with a little chrome polish. The Iron has surface rust.And could easily be sanded and re-painted. The Vinyl is grey with a blue design,and is in good condition. There is a small tare on the top bonnet where the first rib is,and a few small tares on the inside cradle. The tares on the inside cradle are on the crumb cover,and not the actual cradle itself. There is a cover that snaps over the opening allowing for only the baby's head to be seen. I wouldn't feel comfortable putting my baby in the stroller,but it would make a great doll stroller. Vintage Taylor Tot Stroller with Wheel Cowlings 1930-60s Blue and White
This is an intact Taylor Tot stroller from the 1930-60s. This model has Streamlined Wheel Cowlings and all wheels turn and have their rubber. The left rear rubber wheel rim is a little flattened because of the braking mechanism that locks into that wheel. Some of the paint is worn off as pictured. There is a removable metal foot rest and removable push handle. The playbeads are wooden as is the seat. With the handle and foot rest removed these strollers were used by semi-walking children to motivate themselve around like a walker car. The pictures are all of the actual item that we are selling. We will ship the stroller with the push handle removed and folded by the removal of one screw which will be secured back in the empty hole and protected by good packing materials. Antique Wicker Baby Buggy Early 1900's Adjustable Nice!
Up for bid this week is a beautiful Vintage Early 1900's Wicker Baby Buggy In Great Working Condition. The baby is off white and huge. It has a brake. Adjustable overhead canopy which also slides forward and back, the back of the buggy folds back into a resting position, and the foot portion actually can fold down almost to the ground, then in the middle or it can fold completely up against the buggy basket portion. The buggy has metal wheels with spokes. The buggy is in great condition-could use a good cleaning and some touchup paint possibly but I wanted to leave it in its original condition-the way I found it and let the high bidder do as he pleases as far as cleaning and painting. Vintage 1950's Folding Baby Stroller
This Is a Vintage Folding Baby Stroller found in the barn when we purchased the house. I don’t know much about it but I can just see it in a teal blue 1950’s car! The seat and the movable canopy are vinyl and are a lovely vintage teal. The canopy seems a bit tilted but it goes up and down without a problem. It does have a bit of rust as you can see on the picture of the wheel. But I think a good buffing will take care of this. The seat reclines to 3 different positions and appears to be very strong but it does have a small amount of pitting on the chrome. The wheels roll nicely. Considering the age. Its in great condition. Is in very good condition for its age. The carriage measures 12" long& 14 1/2" tall. Has 4 sets of black beads on the front& back with two beads on each side of the carriage. Wicker is intact. This Shirley Temple carriage is museum quality. It's tires are flat on one side from sitting and one side has a 1/8" paint scuff mark. The body is made from wood and I have taken photo's of the Shirley Temple emblem and there is a picture of her with this style of carriage. The hubcabs are marked Shirley Temple and the hood knob the same. It has black eyelets in the hood for air venting. It has a pouch to store small items in the front with a twist knob to open and close. The inside padding comes out and the carriage has brakes. There are a few cosmetic issues- 1/4" scuff on cloth hood. Vinyl cover has a few white scuffs and the fringe is loose in one area. White plastic cover is missing on one side of the carriage hood rod(see 6th picture- also note the discoloration on the inside ribbon of the hood) Wheels are in great shape. Very firm. All chrome parts are sturdy and not bent, dented or damaged ... morein anyway. Cloth cover is in great condition except for the scuff mentioned above. Vinyl mattress is very clean and appears unused. 19th Century Antique WICKER BABY CARRIAGE Originated from New Hampshire. Original wicker as shown. Never seen any of paint. All original parts. Including metal wheels, black iron handle, screws to retain and or remove the sun visor( which may be rolled forwards or backwards. Carriage also boasts hidden internal metal storage compartment underneath seat. Feature parallels time period of this piece. Overall a large piece. Multi-faceted uses. Antique Victorian Wicker Baby Carriage from the late 1800's to the early 1900's in nearly mint condition The carriage body is made of wicker with a metal frame. It appears to have never been painted. The wheels still maintain their original rubber on steel spokes. The carriage top is adjustable to flip forward or back to block sunlight as needed. The foot rest is also adjustable to fit an infant to a toddler to a sitting or prone position. All moving parts work. There are no manufacturer tags or marks that I can find. It measures 43” long from handle to end of foot rest. And is 40” tall x 22 ½” wide. It is wonderful! If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Please do not expect vintage. Antique Covered Wicker Baby Carriage Buggy
Antique Wicker Baby Carriage. This full-size buggy has an adjustable canopy. There is no lining on the inside bottom. Wood handle& wood spoke wheels measuring 13 ¼” diameter. Hard rubber tires(well used) parking brake. The canopy slides forward. Both bars for that are there and they work but one is somewhat bent. It still rolls very smooth and easy. This would be nice if restored. I bought and used it for display only for antique dolls and baby quilts and clothes for the past 25 years. The buggy measures 34 ½ inches high from floor to handle without bonnet. The front wheels still have the rubber on them but the rubber is dried out and hard. The back wheels do not have the rubber on them. It appears the wicker was originally mint green. Most of that color is off. The carriage does not include the doll or blankets shown in pictures.
