Perko Marine Ship Bell 8" in diameter and 5.5" tall It is in excellent condition. It has not been used, but has been in storage and needs to be polished/cleaned. Antique Perko Classic Ship's Chrome Bell
This beautiful Classic bell was found in a Gloucester estate where I was told and it was once on a Gloucester Massachusetts yacht. I was able to clean and shine the chrome with a metal polish. More polishing work could be done to fully restore the beauty of this bell. The bell itself is 4½̎ tall and the base of the bell measures 5¾̎ round. I go to estate sales and resell the treasures I find there. I try to concentrate on quality items putting them into the hands of people who care. This item fits into this category. VINTAGE PERKO CHROME PLATED BRONZE MARITIME BELL 420 6
For auction today is this awesome Vintage Perko Chromed Bronze Maritime Bell. Catalog nr 420 6. This was an estate find in Norfolk. Virginia. A Captain in the U.S. Navy owned it previously. This signal bell is great when fog conditions require you to alert other vessels that you are near. The bell is polished. There is some pitting on the arm and it is missing the mounting bracket but that is normal from what I've seen with others. The bell is 5 3/4" in diameter at the bottom. There is a braided rope on the clapper that the Captain had used. You can decide what you would like to do with that. Thanks for your interest. Good luck with the auction. No Reserve.

used good condition. no bracket. No dents or repairs looks like chrome over brass. My magnet doesn't stick to it I am not even going to try to clean it. It took years to get this nice look, it looks cleaner in the picture than what it is perko on the bell and on the clapper I am going to take it apart for safe shipping.just stick the clapper in the hole and put the nut on 8 inches in diameter ask questions

There is no mounting bracket but anybody with common sense can figure out an alternative! Perko name is etched into the top of the bell and the wide part of the mounting bracket.
