2 Old Antique Brass Glass & Iron Square Lanterns
Title: 2 Old Antique Brass. Glass& Iron Square Lanterns Description: Presented for your consideration is this matching pair of brass. Glass& iron square lanterns. Both have brass peg legs with a square base that is made of iron. Around the glass of the lantern is a brass frame and the tops of the lanterns are also brass. Glass is on two sides of the lanterns while the other two sides are all iron. Each has a burner and reflector inside, which can be easily accessed through the back which opens on a hinge. Both lanterns have a non-adjustable wooden handle. There is the typical wear and patina from age and the back doors do not close all the way. There is also some oxidation on the burners of each. Vintage Antique Ship Lanterns 1900's Brass Ships Gimbaled Oil Lanterns Rare
You are bidding on a pair of very rare. Brass gimbaled oil lanterns which were manufactured in the early 1900's for use in finer staterooms. These are beautiful and hard to find in this condition. However, when I was taking pictures, I unfortunately broke one of the green glass shades. I have tried to find another shade, but have been unable to do so. I have been able to find many antique restoration companies, one of which I have spoken to in great detail about the broken shade. He assures me that he can restore the shade to its former glory with very faint visibility. If the break is turned to the back of the lantern, it will be invisible to the eye. I will be glad to send the shade myself, or if the winning bidder would like to find their own restoration specialist, I will provide the pieces carefully wrapped. There are only three ... morebroken pieces and they fit together perfectly. These lamps were manufactured by C. Gray Ship Chandlers Established 1882 Arbroyath. Scotland and the brass nameplate is attached to the front of each lantern with that information. The lamp bodies are very heavy brass and are fully gimbaled. These are self-leveling lamps for use on the high seas. The wall brackets have a fleur-di-lis type decorative look. The burners are original with a double wick. The knobs are stamped"John Scott Made In England" The last two pictures show small cracks at the top of each body. These appear to be caused by age. The lamps have not been polished because I personally find them more beautiful in their aged condition. The clear glass chimneys are both in perfect condition with no flaws of any kind. The one shade is also perfect with no flaws. The second shade was discussed above. The brass body measures approximately 17" from bottom to the top of the oil burner and is approximately 10" in width at its widest point. Vtg Antique Becker Brass Moroccan Gothic Chandelier Sconce Lanterns
This is a genuine vintage signed Becker Manufacturing Co. Moroccan style ceiling fixture. It has a 14" in diameter brass ceiling plate with 3 chain hanging lanterns made from cast aluminum and brass colored iron frames. The lantern lenses are Red Green and Yellow with no breaks or cracks in the glass. They hang down 32" 24" and 19" and are each 5.25" in diameter. The fixture has some residual dust and moderate wear but no dents or damage. The wiring is good but does have some cracking so should be replaced. Thank you!

This auction is for 2 Chinese lanterns. These are older lanterns. T hey are not one use but made for continued uses. They are made of a brass type of material and cloth. The cloth is purple. These are highly detailed so please look at pix. They collapse down for storage w hen not in use. They stand approx. 7.5" tall when used and are 4.75" in diameter. The springs still work great. The cloth is only the smallest bit wrinkled and th is those sh ould come out when displayed for a short time. There is some small staining on one side too. Just turn it away for it not to be noticed. Come with decorative hangers and candle dowsers attached at handle. Designed for 1.5" base votive candles. Great for displaying around the home at a deck or patio as it will set the ambiance on those spring and summer eve nings. Up for your consideration& bidding is a vintage/antique pressurizing pump for older lanterns. Lamps& stoves. I am unsure that this is a Coleman product as it appears to be unmarked. Has a wooden knob that is in super condition- looks as if it was very rarely used. The tip is also in great condition, the rod is not bent and the barrel has no dents. I applied a bit of oil on the leather& it is in working condition- air is expelling from the tip. That said it will more than likely require a new leather at some point in time. These are the two most beautiful. Well preserved kerosene nautical ship lanterns I've ever seen! They are just in great condition with no chips in the globe. No visible dings in the brass, no rust that will disable the function of these lamps! The only problem with them is that one of the two lamps are missing the glass piece that surrounds the wick on the inside of the lamp. however. It is NOT noticeable from the outside. Japanese Buddhist Butsudan Temple Brass Hanging Lanterns
These lanterns would typically hang inside the shrine in a Japanese home(a butsudan) Before electricity they were made to have a candle but these were made to have an electric light inside. There is a hole in the very top that allows an electric cord to go through. These came with two ele ctric light s that can be seen in the last photo. The lights will need to be rewired or replaced but they give an idea of what kind of light s were used. They will be included. The two doors in each lantern work with no problems. Hinges are fine. The other lantern has an upper and lower chamber with clear lenses with light sockets installed in both chambers as well and this one according to its name plate is the Stern light. You can use these inside as lamps or outside as lamps since they are airtight. They are over just 18 inches tall and almost 10 inches wide. Everything on these two unique and extremely rare lanterns are operatable. Every screw and bolt does what it should. The white stuff you see in the pictures is, I'm guessing is someone at one time, tried to use brass cleaner and did a bad job. I would personally leave them the way they are, but if you want to clean them up, they should shine like the sun. In order to use them. Pair Large Solid Brass Marine Nautical Signal Lights Boat Lanterns Lamp
These are a great pair of Marine Nautical Lights. They are solid brass with heavy ribbed glass shades. They have been rewired and are in working condition. One of the lights has its original red insert so it can be used as a signal light. The 1st picture shows the lights with the red insert in one and a green light bulb in the second one if you wanted to use these that way. Or you can take out the red insert and have both lights clear as in the 2nd picture. Or put in any color bulb you choose. The lights are very heavy. The one with the insert is about 15 lbs and the other 13.5 lbs. These lanterns have handles that you can use to hang them or just for carrying. One of the lanterns has a little more copper tone to it then the other one and has 3 little feet to attach to a deck. The tops can be removed or slid to the side with the screws on ... morethe top to replace the lightbulbs. The globes are marked with a makers name. One of the shades has 2 small internal fissures at the bottom of the globe but they don't go all the way through the glass. There are a few dings and small indentations here and there typical of their age. See pictures) Other than that. They are in good condition and could use some cleaning. Pair Huge Brass Antique/Vtg Port/Starboard Navigation Lanterns-DURKEE-18" Tall Up for your consideration is a pair of huge brass antique or vintage ships port& starboard navigation lanterns by DURKEE. They measure approx. 11" W X 18" H-See images compared to 2 liter soda bottle. Both lanterns have their original light socket fixtures. However they were cut to be removed from the ship and one of the lanterns has an electric cord added, but easily removed with no modification of the lantern. There is a beautiful patina to the brass. I'm not sure how old they are, but probably 30's-40's. They are very heavy and well made. The mirrors attached to inside back of lantern are spotted from age, there are a few dings in the brass-see images. One is totally complete. The other is missing the two brass bands that hold ... morethe glass in. These bands appear simple to replicate and attach with small screws. Also the glass has a small chip on the inside of the glass. The screw in cap on top of one lantern is marked DURKEE MARINE PRODUCTS CORP STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. the other is not. Both glasses are marked DURKEE MARINE PROD and have bubbles in the glass. They both may be missing some sort of band around the top as there is discoloration there and some holes. These would be awesome restored and either used on a ship or decor for a man cave or nautically inspired room! It would be interesting to know what size ship these came off of as they are larger than any I saw in my searches. Please email with any questions or any knowledge you may have on these lanterns. I am going to ship these in several different packages with the glasses removed and protected extremely well. I have a pair of rare vintage brass Perko marine ship's lamps or lanterns. They used to be kerosene or oil but were converted to electric. They are in wonderful shape with no dents or damage and everything is intact. they do however have wear that is consistent with age. Each lantern has a finger lamp inside that is removable as shown in the pictures. A 4 inch reflector/ mirror, and 3 glass panels. Each is also stamped with a brass tag that reads" PERKO Manufacturer's Reg. Trademark Perkin's Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. Miami Florida USA" on the front and another stamp on the back that reads the same thing. They both measure almost 14" tall. one being about 1/4" taller than the other one. You can definitely tell that these gems were handmade. These are very cool nautical decorations or gifts!

Star of India Pair Vintage Brass Nautical Electric Ship Lanterns/Lamps
Overview This listing is for a pair of amazing vintage brass ship lamps with plaques engraved"Star of India. The lamps have a front door that you can unclasp and swing right open when you need to change the bulbs. Behind the bulbs is a circular reflector to augment the light. The glass has rectangular lattice and beside the plaques are beautiful spiral reliefs. Operation These lamps run on electricity and you can view the innards in picture 7. The wires go through the hole in the back and connect right to the wall. The lamps switch on and off via a spinning dial on the bottom right. Dimensions and Condition The actual lamps measure 11.5 inches tall. 8.5 inches wide, and 5 inches deep. The stacks on the top add another 5 inches in height. I would say that they are roughly 7 lbs. each. They are in very fine condition. The only flaw is ... moreone small chip in the glass on the bottom of one of the side panels, but this is virtually invisible during display. History I am dubious as to whether these actually came off the Star of India ship. But these are nautical lamps and were probably for maritime use at one point or another. Even if they are not authentic instruments off the Star of India, they are still a beautiful flattery of the world's oldest active sailing ship. The Star of India began in 1863 on a shipyard in the Isle of Man, first named Euterpe. After the Greek goddess of music and poetry. She obtained her present name through her first perilous voyages to India that were afflicted by collision, mutiny, and a cyclone from which she returned to port scathed and downtrodden. Antique Brass Ships Mast Lanterns
Two(2) antique Brass Ships Mast Lanterns Up for auction are two matching ships mast lanterns. These lamps were acquired by my dad on Long Island in the early 50's. My dad had them electrified. Wall mounts made and they served as our front door lamps for about 20 years until we moved to Pennsylvania where they were moved indoors and were mounted on our fireplace. I hung on to them for the past 25 years and kept them in storage. About 6 months ago I started to restore them to a working oil lamp and never finished the restoration(too many projects! About 35 years ago. I polished them and sprayed them with clear lacquer. They looked really good and could use a good polishing again. As you can see from the photographs they are in better-than-average shape. There are a few hairline cracks on the"bell" Which I've noticed is fairly ... morecommon on similar lamps listed on Ebay. You can revert to electricity or continue with restoration as you desire. They are not marked with any manufactures information but the resemble models made by E. Miller but I'm not sure. Although I could not find any markings. Use your own judgment. And look at the pictures carefully. They probably date back to the 1890s. The brass has been painted over with black paint. They both have been wired for electricity and don’t have their burners. Although their reflectors are present. They measure approximately 17” high to the top of the handle. And 7-1/4” wide. One lantern still has its mounting bracket. And the globe has a crack on the side(approx. 3” long) Also that cap on top is missing a small piece where it would attach to the lantern.
