ANTIQUE NAUTICAL SHIPS LIGHT LAMP - SHIP SALVAGE- RARE
Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE This light was purchased at an estate sale where most of my other auction listing came from.I was told by the folks selling that this was a ships lamp or light and would have been in a cabin onboard a ship. I cannot find any others to compare it to on ebay and there are no markings on the light other than on the socket inside the lamp and on the side as shown are the letters P&O. I am not sure if this was a gas type light or not. Although it has a socket where a bulb or something would have fit but on the side of the light it looks like a flint or sparker. The light will need the chrome trim cleaned.Sorry I am not much help here, please see the pictures and maybe someone out there can tell me more. The works are mounted on a nice piece of oak and there are exposed wires etc on the back. It appears ... morethe glass is missing however the clip holder to hold the glass guard in is in the metal hood. The metal hood is hinged and has holes to let the heat escape. The light measures 11" long x 5" wide and weighs unpackaged 3-1/2 pounds.At the top of the light is a knob that can be turned to control the brightness i am guessing. Antique Hand Painted Cast Iron Ship w/ Tole Petals Two Light Nautical Lamp
Old working lamp in great condition. It is made of heavy hand painted cast iron with a tole leaf over each of the petaled lights. It has an old patina. Some chips in the paint and an old thick round cord. On the back the maker's name is stamped into the iron and says"Allied Metal- Inglewood, Calif. It measures about 13-1/2" high and 14" wide. The base measures about 3" front to back.

1908 Antique Light Draft Stern Wheel Boat Ship Blueprints River Navigation
I am selling these blueprints I'm listing here for my parents. Who found them in their 100 year old house/farm and are just now getting to looking at these. They figured someone who collects them should have them. I'm going to be listing several different types over time. So if you are interested, please keep watching. I am not a historian. Or a blue print collector so I don't know the official terms for condition and whatnot, I'll just do the best I can to describe them. What I do know. If the old man who lived there and did these was named Chas. W. Bale. He did all of the blueprints as far as we can tell, and lived in Portland, Oregon. He did some for Willamette Iron and Steel. Detroit Shipbuilding Engineering Company, Great Lakes Engineering Works and several others. They appear to be a lot of Ship cross sections and ships ... moreboilers. And lists of the different ships boilers and whatnot. Some are of some logging equipment, and some miscellaneous. I have no idea what the rest of the story is on these. I will have more different blueprints coming so keep your eyes out. I'm trying to take some time and care in photographing them. They are a really cool piece of history. And even not knowing much about these they are SO cool to open up! You just don't see stuff like this anymore. You are getting one blueprints in the auction. Antique Brass Nautical Light Ship Lantern This is a heavy(7-1/2lb. antique brass ship lantern. It is in good condition with the exception of several dents and a bent section of the guard. Please see photos. The internal lamp part is missing but a big 22oz Yankee Candle fits inside perfectly! Candle not included. The fixture is ventilated on top and bottom. It was designed for a flame burning oil lamp originally. The patina is nice. The glass lens is in great shape. The silver colored reflector inside is also in excellent condition. Up for auction is a antique bow light. I am unsure what boat this was off of but it was definitely removed from a boat here on long island. It appears to have a brass body and blue/ red glass. It does come with a wooden mount. The only issue with this light is it is chipped in the blue portion of the glass. Other then that it appears to be in nice shape. This is a 6 inch diameter lense.This was first probably fired by acetylene,like a carbide lamp,but then was obviously converted a very long time ago to an electric light bulb. The reflector is still nice and shiny,anf the face glass is clear and not broken or cracked. You can open the light from the front or back,its hinged with a friction retainer clip. The gimble mount moves,not frozen up. And it still has its very nice patina from age,was not lessened by polishing. They are usually flat on the back. Ours is V shaped that fits in a corner with bracket pocket on the left. Its red fresnel glass lens was made by Perko with Mold No.35 on its side. Glass is in good condition with about 3 tiny. Tiny chips on the ribs of the glass that are hardly noticeable. Also has a few tiny paint specks, age& dirt. No cracks though. The lantern has been painted red sometime in its life that’s faded, chipping. It comes with a chain& Original brass Miller Co. burner& hurricane ... moreglass that’s attached to bottom cover. The hurricane is in good condition with some tiny chipping along the bottom rim that goes into the burner. Also is soiled. The lantern’s body is in good-fair condition except looks like something heavy was put on its top& it caved in a little to the right. Yes. patina and silver paint of the past. 13" Bottom flange to the top. 4"5/8" Dia across cap not including the spots of the bolts. 9-S-4326-L Number on lid. Looks to be made of aluminum. Added 4 pictures of the lens. For you to check out. Clear lens looks to be in really good condition. No cracks that we can see. Red lens has a crack in it and no chips just the crack. Up for auction is a complete original vintage National nautical oil lantern. The lantern stands 10-1/2 inches tall to the top of the loop. This is 5 inches across and 5 inches deep. The the lantern itself is still solid and structurally sound. With a smallish dent in the top upper ring. The glass lenses are in really good shape: clear glass with what looks to have a slight purple tint to it. Vintage antique"Galeon Espanol ano 1540" wooden ship lamp. Lamp has a foreign plug(which is broken) so it would need to be rewired anyway. In fair to good condition. Up for auction is an incredible piece of maritime history! This is a 100% original Steamdrifters navigation signal oil lamp. Steamdrifters started building steam powered ships in the late 1800s and into the early 1900s. Red and green lights were used on the port and starboard sides and this would be hanging from the rigging& kept stable with the hangers on both the top and the bottom. it is approx. 14" high(without the hanging brackets) by 14" wide. Total height with brackets is 23-1/2" I can only find record of one being sold online(years ago for $1.100) Incredibly. The hand blown original red glass is in perfect condition without a single flaw. Please ask questions before bidding. I will pack it very well in an oversize box for safety so the shipping is a bit higher than usual. International shipping will be extra.

USCG Nautical Channel marker mfg. by Wallace-Tiernan Belleville NJ A INTERESTING PIECE OF SF NAUTICAL HISTORY. This solid bronze antique channel marker was given to a USCG Admiral upon his retirement. The light still functions It was displayed in his office and rewired with a timer where it remained until his death. It was then passed onto a family friend who placed it in storage. It is being offered for sale at this time. It stands 24 inches tall by 13 inches at the widest point. The 4 base mounting holes are spaced 9 to 9 and 1/2 inches square. If you were ambitious you could polish it up. I plugged it in and if functions perfectly. It weighs about 110 lbs. SOLD AS-IS with NO RETURNS Shipped Fedex ground exact cost. Up for auction is a pair of electrified ship lanterns. I picked these up from a local estate. So I'm unsure the history of these items. Items are dirty and show normal wear from over the years. Please look over all 12 pictures before you bid. Both lanterns look identical. But only one is marked Perko you'll notice that the red globe is marked and the lantern. ANTIQUE MARITIME PERKO DE-LITE BLUE/RED GLASS SHIP BOW/STERN OIL/KEROSENE LIGHT
Antique Perko De-Light Red& Blue Glass Bow or Stern Ship Light with Oil or Kerosene Reservoir Only includes what is pictured. Please review all pictures. The was painted black. There are some dents, painted over rust and the reservoir does not securely attach to the lamp, but no chips or cracks and the wick turner still moves. Measures about 6 3/4 inches tall.
