up for bid is a Vintage Brass BELL 5 1/2 Inch Brass Bell. its made of solid brass. Its 5 and 1/2 wide. I got it at an estate sale in Placerville ca. the man I got it from told me that he brought it from Russia when he came to America 10 years ago. he told me that it was on his family farm for as long as he could remember,he loved the sound of it and wanted to take with him to America. I asked him why he was selling it now and he told me that now he was home now and he could let it go. very cool new American, he was very happy to be here. You are bidding on a very nice brass anchor bell with rope lanyard. It has been mounted on a beautiful piece of oak about 7/8 of an inch thick. The wood plaque measures about 5 by 8 inches. The clapper swivels when the lanyard is pulled and strikes the inside of the bell. The bell makes a nice sound when rung. The brass bell is about 4 3/4 inches high. Bottom of anchor measures about 4 1/4 inches across. I am selling other brass bells and nautical items and can combine shipping.

Vintage Nautical bell The anchor measures 9 inches tall 7 inches wide at bottom. Extends out 5 1/4 inches when hung on wall. Has one screw attached. One missing as there is second hole toward top of anchor for hanging. The opening at bottom of bell is 5 1/4 inches and the bell itself is 5 3/4 inches tall. Bell hangs from a ring that is about 1 3/4 inches. Heavy piece, believe to be brass and has a loud and nice ring! White nylon rope is braided and is about 4 1/2 inches long. Nice vintage piece. Vintage Bell Ship Nautical Marine Boat brass or bronze 5 inch diameter
This auction is for a nice. Vintage, bell. Not sure if it's brass of bronze, but probably one of those. If you don't own a boat, it would make a nice dinner bell for those big family dinners. It measures about 4.5 inches tall and 5 inches across the base. Mounting is super easy as you only have to unscrew the top from the clapper(inside the bell) then put screws in the flat base into a post(or something flat) then reconnect the bell using the top of the clapper to the mounting portion.
