It has 3 cast iron ornate legs, attached to a wood base. the wood base connects to the seat with an iron piece. Adjustable seat. It measures 18& 1/2 inches tall at it's shortest height. It measures 23& 1/2 inches tall at it's tallest height. The base measures 14& 1/2 inches from foot to foot. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs. Your looking at a vintage old stool found in grandparents attic with some old traps and bible from 1835. Need new paint and legs could use glueing but works great and holds at least my weight of 103lbs. I was told it was from Kutztown Pa. where all the amish are. Thats about all I know. I also have a metal step stool listed that I never seen one like it.

Primitive antique foot stool wooden bench 2 layers of vintage textile cover
Cutest little footstool! All wood with chippy paint and a cloth-covered top with two layers of textiles that appear to be original. The seat pad is detached. See the pictures for the best description of the fabric- its a dusty rose color with a woven floral pattern, feels like a cotton texture and there are no rips but it shows its age. There is another layer of fabric underneath this covering but I did not remove the top cover to investigate. Both textiles are held in place with small tacks and are intact enough to clean up or add your own layer of history- perhaps a needlepoint. No weird/bad smell. Dimensions are 14" long by 10" wide by 7" tall at the frame plus about 3/4" for the pad. The joints and nails are in good condition but I would not plan to use this as a step stool(unless by a child) I did not find any splits ... moreor cracks in the wood frame and all of the nail heads look alike(a little rusty) so no signs of modern repairs. Just an adorable little ole thing! Very charming and functional; picture this holding your stack of books next to a favorite reading chair. Great primitive decorator piece! VINTAGE MID CENTURY METAL & VINYL CORNER STOOL/BENCH - RARE PIECE
I have been to several estate sales and this is the first kitchen stool I have seen that was designed to sit in a corner. It stands approx. 21 inches in height. 13 inches in length, and 10 inches in width. For its age it is in fairly good condition- legs could stand to be cleaned and polished. Top has small cut and on side facing the wall there is a cut with a few small holes where stool sat against wall. There is a missing end cap on one of the legs, see pictures. If you look at the picture of the stool placed in our kitchen corner, you will see that only blemish visible is small cut on top which means you could avoid time and money on refurbishing. If you have a retro kitchen. You know how sharp this will look as an accent piece.

This auction is for an older Solid Oak Bench or Stool from England. I do not know if this was home made or shop made. It's quite unusual but it is well made and very studry. I thought at first, it may have been an end stable at one time in it's life, but I am not sure. It has a real Arts& Craft era look to it, but it also has a primative look to it also. It could be used as an Piano or Organ Bench. It has pretty tapered legs and stretcher on the legs and a"wavy cut" to the apron under the seat on all four sides.
