Cast iron stool appears to have its original dark green paint with black and gold highlights(see photos) The design of the cast iron work appears to have some Eastlake pierced open work grill design. In addition to the ornate Victorian drape effect of oak leaves and the scrollwork feet, and the flowing/swirling Art Nouveau oak leaf and vine designs. Appears to have original pine or soft wood cover top. With is covered with the original straw– the straw covered with remnants of original jute material. The jute is covered with a 1930s era cloth material. And covering this material is a worn dark forest green velvet. The wood stool top is easily recoverable if new owner should so desire. Heavy piece– weights about 16 pounds. Markings: impressed numbers“25” and“5” on underside of stool. Impressed into cast iron. Beautiful. Victorian era, small, round lady's antique cast iron and wood footstool. The three cast iron legs and the edge of the solid wood base have been painted an egg-shell white/cream. Paint has chipped off in spots, adding to the character and age of the piece. The top is a beautiful needlepoint pastoral scene of girl on a bench next to a pitcher with a cherub; background is deep red orange. It may be the original, partial original, or a replacement cover. If original or partially original, it is in stunningly mint condition. If a replacement, it looks very authentic to the piece. Antique Industrial Piano Stool Steampunk Wood and Ornate Cast Iron Victorian
Up for auction is an Antique Industrial Stool. Made of wood and cast iron. It looks to be pre 1900, but I can't say for sure. It is in good condition and has the PERFECT patina. The center section is all wood and has 3 cast iron legs, the seat has the original wood. It looks like the seat cover has been professionally recovered, there are some cracks here and there, the bottom of the seat is separated at the factory seam- just needs clamped and glued. The cast iron is a bit rough and could be sand blasted to smooth it, but that is your preference. The seat is adjustable, one it is raised it gets a bit wobbly, but at the bottom it is nice and sturdy. It measures 19" at the lowest point and raises from there, the base of the feet is 15" wide, the seat is 13 3/4" wide. If you have any questions please ask. Thanks.

Cast iron stool appears to have its original dark green paint with black and gold highlights(see photos) The design of the cast iron work appears to have some Eastlake pierced open work grill design. In addition to the ornate Victorian drape effect of oak leaves and the scrollwork feet, and the flowing/swirling Art Nouveau oak leaf and vine designs. Appears to have original pine or soft wood cover top. With is covered with the original straw– the straw covered with remnants of original jute material. The jute is covered with a 1930s era cloth material. And covering this ... morematerial is a worn dark forest green velvet. The wood stool top is easily recoverable if new owner should so desire. This is a very nice cast iron bench with lady face medallions on all four sides of the ends and dolphin head feet. It measures aprox. 21" wide x 21" high. 16" to the seat and is 10" deep. It has a muslin seat cover which would be easy enough to cover with a fabric of your choice. It is in good condition with no breaks or damage. For shipping purposes and to better protect the bench in transit we will be shipping it flat, it is easy enough to re-assemble. Shipping to the lower 48 states would be 16.80 including insurance. This is an antique cast iron bench with velvet upholstery. It has been reupholstered at some point and the fabric is in good condition. Looks clean, does not have any tears or holes, but it does seem as if it has been glued on. The seat is heavy solid wood that seems sturdy. The cast iron legs are firmly attached with screws, and they are in very good condition with some minor scuffing and wear. Nothing is broken or missing. It measures 25" L x 12" W x 20" H. It will be disassembled if possible. Wrapped well, and insured during shipping.

I have for auction an estate find. This is a Victorian Footstool. Often called a slipper stool. The legs are cast iron, with an ornate design. The legs are attached to a wooden frame that has been covered with horsehair, a batting and then the leather piece. From the underside their are 8 wooden balls that have been attached with nails. The leather has been tacked and nailed on the side of the board and then the legs were screwed to the top. The approximate dimensions are 11 1/2" long& 8 3/4" wide. The legs are almost 5" tall and with the cushion on the stool 6" high. I did not see any breaks or repairs in the cast iron.
